I'll give a star for location (right behind Mosque/Arab district/super close to Haji Lane), and the staff were very kind. However, the photos are very deceiving. The room was very small which would be ok but had no window, poor lighting, water leak stains from the ceiling, caulking coming off in the bathroom, and THE WORST PART was how HARD THE MATRESSES were. I've been to jail and prison, these were worse. My back hurt after two nights and I slept poorly.

We were only in Singapore for 2 full nights, so we weren't looking for anything flash. We knew that we would only be in the room to sleep, so Hotel Clover 769 looked perfect. We loved our little room, and it had everything that we needed. There was a small fridge, desk, bed, bathroom etc. The wifi was fast and the aircon worked perfectly. I will add that we paid extra for a window, but if we stayed again, we wouldn't bother doing so as it just looked at the other windows anyway. We were very happy with our stay!

We booked identical rooms that my in laws had booked(deluxe room), but we noticed that our room was significantly smaller than theirs. The staff told us that the rooms weren't all the same sizes but told us that we had the correct room. Seems absurd that we pay the same prices but end up with very different living spaces.
The room had barely enough space to open our luggage in while still being able to get to the bed. We noticed the towels were stained/dirty and even noticed stains for the replacement towels we got. The spoons were still dirty and our bedsheet had a big hole in the door end. Sound insulation was quite poor, you can hear the outside traffic and neighbouring rooms through the walls.
Staff at the hotel were generally quite friendly and helpful and location was convenient (bus stop across the street, MRT 10 min walk).

I have been to Singapore many times. My first time staying here. I purely chose this hotel as it was reasonably priced, located near to Bugis MRT Station and easy for me to go back to the airport, as I had a 1-night transit en route to Brunei. Nice hotel. Very good location in the Kampong Gelam area with Arab Street and Haji Lane a few minutes' walk away. You also have Bugis Junction and Bugis Street within walking distance. An array of dining and shopping options on your doorstep. The room was fine. Medium in size. Comfortable bed, spacious. A few complimentary toiletries were included plus water and tea and coffee making facilities. I had a peaceful rest and freshen up before my next flight. Staff were pleasant and friendly. WiFi worked well. The difference between a 4 and 5 for me was that the hotel was clean, but one of my pillows was slightly stained and parts of the hotel, especially the hallway area could do we with a paint and the carpets definitely needed replacing! To be honest I normally stay in the Marina Bay area which I prefer. This was fine for 1 night. No complaints and would recommend.

Excellent hotel, well situated for exploring Singapore by foot and only a few hundred metres from MRT station.
Room was small and compact but with en suite shower/toilet, toiletries (including toothbrush and toothpaste), kettle/coffee. The description was room without window but there was a high up roof skylight so you had daylight in the room and could hear the rain hammering onto the skylight window.
Overall excellent hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Only downside was no in house breakfast available so had to walk 50 yards to breakfast cafe.

I enjoyed the property and staff but I can hear the other rooms especially a loud couple. Convenience was great. Altogether it was sufficient for our needs however the beds were very hard that made my back and legs hurt. The pillow was also very flat. We stayed in a 2 twin room.

On arrival needed to ask for bedsheets to be changed as they had dubious stains all over them. Room size nowhere near as advertised - will be filing claim for partial refund. Hotel has zero facilities on offer and nearby area has little to offer unless you schlep down to Bugis and Haji Lane.

Didn't like that the bath's drainage was so slow. Had to be mindful when showering so that the bathroom won't be flooded. Also had to step on the drain (plunging) to initiate water flowing into drain.

Got a corner room so other than noises came from the busy streets outside the hotel, it wasn't particularly noisy - but do note that room isn't entirely soundproof either.

Overall, quite an okay stay. Will re-visit for a budget stay.

This is my 2nd time stay here. I have no complaints. Kudos to the housekeeping staff, the room is very clean. Front desk staff are always eager to help and friendly. The air-corn works well, large variety of channels to choose from on the TV. Kettle and coffe/tea are provided, so You can make yourself a hot beverage. The mini fridge works well too. Great location. Nearby to major shopping centers like Funan Mall, Raffles city and etc.

What can I say, the hotel is located at a great spot. There is a 7-11 store just across the hotel, so many eateries, coffee joints and pubs to chill at. The room is cozy and clean. The bed is so comfortable. The room has all the necessary stuff, like the kettle, fridge,toiletries and etc. Can’t go wrong with a rainfall shower. There is a cool and chic place to hangout near the reception area. The most important thing, the front desk staff are so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel for a quick getaway.

Service is very good, I order food delivery and the hotel staff bought it to my room personally , instead of having to collect at the lobby and they even gave me fork & spoon, when I discover the food delivery failed to provide. I would give them a 8/10 stars cos the hotel have some renovation work carried on, which created noise from 12noon. But the guest was not informed

Indoor jacuzzi room - big jacuzzi, very small room

Room was much smaller than expected, disappointing as it was rather expensive! Window cannot be opened as room was on the ground floor, opening straight out to the road. Bed was nested against 2 walls (actually 3) so there is no walking space on one side. Bed faces another wall which has a TV, hardly any space between bed and TV wall. But TV was nice and we could plug in a USB to watch our own selection. Bed was also very comfy!

Hanging space is limited to a few wall knobs, a small drawer on the floor that was difficult to open. Overall limited storage space even for our bags.

The highlight of the room is of course the jacuzzi, which was nice and big with adjustable jet strength. Popped in a bubble bar and the jets helped grow the bubbles effortlessly! Also comes with 2 removable headrests but 1 of them did not have suction cups so it kept slipping. Not that big a deal I would say. Bathroom itself is also small, the tub probably takes up 40%. Shower area has a rainfall shower from the ceiling which is some distance away, so the stream splays out significantly and wets a large area beyond the actual shower area (theres no door, only half glass divider), a little bit annoying so we just used the shower head so we wouldnt wet the whole floor.

The hotel was kind to offer free breakfast at Brine cafe next door - this was yummy. Small selection of freshly prepared hot meals with the usual cereal, toast etc.

Overall decent stay but would not pay that much for a jacuzzi again.

Very friendly staff at check-in. I left a note that it was my Partner's birthday celebration & the hotel waa sweet enough to decorate the bed with flower petals & towel cranes, & gave us a bottle of sparkling grape juice as well. Room was big & spacious. Absolutely in love with the indoor jacuzzi! Quiet environment, no loud noises nor loud talking heard. Cleaniless could be improved on though. There was a splatter of brownish water dried up on the wall below the mirror, most likely left by previous guests. Bedding was so comfortable, I slept through the night undisturbed. Will definitely stay in this hotel again.

Everything is perfect and worth the money.
Only comment is for the shower room without any partition between wet and dry area. Not a good design, dry area always get wet after shower and there is no adjustable handheld shower post. The only 2 options between fixed handheld shower at a low level and a rain shower is not much an option. Guest should be able to adjust handheld shower to a higher mounted location without to have their hair wet :)

We had an amazing experience at this hotel. The location is super close to Little India, which is a hidden gem.

The staff are also very very nice, we got a good discount to upgrade our room with a jacuzzi. They kept our luggage the whole day as our flight time was 8:40pm.

I would stay at this hotel again, and would definitely recommend it to others.

Travelled with my boyfriend and booked a double room, instead we were given a tiny narrow room with two single beds one at the front of the room and one at the back, fortunately the property changed our room but I was still not happy with the second room we were given as it was still tiny and a lot smaller to the rest, and we hadn’t even paid for the cheapest room available! I have stayed in some small rooms in the past (e.g. New York and Amsterdam) but these rooms were even smaller than this. The room itself was a bit run down E.g. mould in the shower in the cracks of the tiles, and marks all over the walls near the door. The worst thing about our stay was the amount of noise we could hear from our room. We could hear the lobby music downstairs which was that loud we could hear it over the tv, we asked if it could be turned down but we’re told it goes off at 10:30pm which was not helpful at all. Not only that but the hotel itself was noisy, I’m a heavy sleeper but was still awoken numerous times by noises I could hear from other rooms. I would definitely not stay here again, in my opinion the rooms are far too expensive and extremely bad value for money, I paid nearly 300 SGD for two nights at this hotel, which is ridiculous given the experience we had at this hotel.

This is a small boutique hotel. I booked an executive room, which was more than big enough for me with a large bathroom. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is within walking distance of Bugis MRT. There was a misunderstanding with some laundry not coming back when it should have but the front desk staff were very helpful in getting it back to hotel in plenty of time for me to check out.

Hotel Clover is in a great spot in Kampong Glam. It’s right up the road from the Sultan Mosque and proximate to lots of good eateries. The location is just outside the main touristy area which is quite nice, and is well serviced by a variety of MRT lines. It is very easy to get to/from the airport from the hotel, and is close to a couple of different international bus stations. The hotel itself was good, even if the room was a bit small. The air con worked very well as did the wifi. The bed was comfortable enough and the bathroom was mostly clean - beware it doesn’t have a sealed door; just a sliding glass door! The main critique of the hotel was that we deliberately booked a city view room to avoid having a room with no window, but got a room with a tiny window overlooking a courtyard. We didn’t raise this at the time as it suited us fine as tourists, but something to be mindful of at check in. Overall, very worth the (budget!) price we paid.

Greeted with a very pleasant fragrance upon entry. Check-in was quick and fuss-free. I soon realised that it is a small property (only two floors), hence everything feels cosy and getting to the rooms won't take more than a minute.
The Executive King room was a bit smaller than expected, and the only window available is found in the bathroom. However, the room does not lack amenities and provided a comfy stay.
Bath area is a little small, and bedding & towels slightly worn out. Apart from that, nothing mind blowing about the room and facilities, however nothing else disappointing either.
Was offered complementary breakfast for two at Brine. It was a small cafe with generous serving of homely food. The grab and go snacks available for hotel guests was a great touch.
Worth noting that the property is a slight distance from MRT stations, however, the area in general has a lot of food and offers accessibility to town.
Not the best hotel stay, but absolute value for money.

Lovely boutique hotel on north bridge road - the closest to Sultan mosque and excellent food places (malay, arab, indonesian, hipster cafes etc) in the Arab street area. Good service from staff who were friendly and pleasant.
Room - you may have a room without a window which isn't too bad but may have difficulty walking up!
location - 20 minute walk to nearest station Bugis - also good shopping centre and again lots of food places around.
Walking distance to the national museum around 30-40 minutes and the riverside (merdeka sq/jamek mosque/sultan abdus samad building) is about 40-60 mintues. But well worth it if you have the time.

This small boutique hotel is clean with comfy bedding and located among the very well-kept and bright color shop houses full of shops and restaurants with a strong flavor of local culture. Bugis and Lavender MRT station each is within 10-mins walk on either direction. We experienced some problem with the lights not being able to be turned on in the morning and were promptly given a better room and 2 complimentary breakfasts-truly a taste of Singaporean hospitality. A very good stay indeed!

Cozy and Quiet

Having the front door opened for us and greeted by our names was warming. The night Manager Benjamin was a host and and a wealth of knowledge who kick started our Singapore holiday into such a success we thank him. The room was tight but functional and breakfast superb and fulling. Over all the Hotel . location and staff will have us back again.Thanks Hotel Clover North Bridge Road.

Neat and well located

Stayed at this boutique hotel last minute and the staff was super accommodating and very helpful. They booked me in quickly and due to the room not being ready because of my last minute booking offered me refreshments and comped my breakfast for the next morning. Savyina was super helpful early in the morning helping me to call a cab and port my bags. Would definitely stay again.

Great condition!

Everything was really great! An area of inprovement could be maybe a sliding door to separate the shower to keep the rest of the bathroom dry? But overall it was very worth the price!
