Room way too small. Plus no windows. I have never been in a hotel where there was no windows in your room it is too strange and anoying for me. I been in small spaces but wow this is really small and uncomfortable for 2 people. You have to open suitcases on the bed.. and put them under the bed. Then climb 2 stairs to get into bed., like a bunk bed. NEVER AGAIN.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. I took a red eye flight and arrived at the hotel quite early. Winson received me, filled out the necessary paperwork, and then was able to check me in! This was before noon! I was fine with just leaving my luggage, but he was able to give me a decent room. I Everything worked in the room, you just have to turn on all the switches ancommpanying the plug. So if you want to turn on the TV, you have to look behind the TV to turn on the switch, etc. Winson also recommended various food options, and things to do. I stayed two nights and I was able to walk and mrt to all the major points I wanted to visit. He also lent me an umbrella after digging around a bit, so very much appreciated. The only draw back is breakfast is in another location 2 blocks away. Great customer service and stay. Thanks!

The staff were good the room was clean and comfortable however we were there for 3 nights and did not have any housekeeping. We had to ask for clean towels. The bin was not emptied and no top up of tea of coffee. So not a good service.

The room is a bit worn down and could use a bit of maintenance. The shelf was going to off the wall, the hinges to the fridge were loose the drain in the washroom was draining slowly. There was only one trash can in the washroom and could use more. The room was otherwise covered all the basics and was reasonablely clean.

The room was compact but well thought out. Luggage can be stored underneath the bed. There is no closet.

The concierge is only available from 10am to 7pm.

Really nice cosy room, very comfortable and well equipped. Hotel was quiet and very well kept. The roof terrace was lovely to sit and watch the world go by. Staff were friendly and helpful. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Would definitely return next time I'm in Singapore!

It was located across the street from Clarke Quay Subway Terminal. Easy to arrive and go to airport. Easy to get around town without spending excess fees. Perfect after a day of sightseeing for 12 hrs! I would use them again in a heartbeat!

Great Value & Location in the Heart of Clarke Quay

Habyt Clarke Quay was previously known as Champion Hotel City. I had a long layover in Singapore and wanted clean and affordable accommodation. This hotel turned out to be the best choice for both its rooms and location. It is situated right on Clarke Quay, which is the social epicenter of Singapore and filled with restaurants, bars, and scenic views. The front desk staff only work from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., so I was glad to arrive during those hours and meet the gentleman who checked me in. He was welcoming and made sure my stay was enjoyable. If you arrive after 7 p.m., they have a self-check-in system in place, which is convenient and easy to use. The rooms are great. They are absolutely clean, and the air conditioning unit worked perfectly for my needs. I also appreciated how the room made smart use of space. Mine had a small fridge and a nice view of the city skyline. The bed was comfortable, and everything was organized to give you a relaxing and efficient stay. Singapore can be a very expensive place, but this hotel gets everything right when it comes to offering value and comfort. I am really glad I chose Habyt Clarke Quay and will definitely consider staying here again on my next trip.

Booked this hotel as it was a really good price for the area it’s in (near Clarke Quay). Staff were friendly, great access to the MRT station over the road & shower in the room was good. Unfortunately the negatives outweigh the positives for me as I’ll detail below -

- Mattress & pillow were rock hard which made I difficult to get a good nights sleep.

- Lots of noise from neighbouring rooms / hallway. I guess the walls are very thin as I woke up to noise on a couple of occasions.

- The drains in the bathroom emitted a bad smell every so often which was rather unpleasant.

It was okay for a short stay but I don’t think I’ll return.

This property is in a great location but rooms and linens/towels have seen better days. Sheets were old, had a hole, ceiling lamps were super dusty, bathroom walls had molds and just overall need TLC. For the price, I thought it would have been a 2.5 star property but it was barely a 1-2.

The Champion City hotel was pretty good and met our needs by being reasonably priced and in a very walkable location. The staff were friendly and the hotel was clean.
The two areas for improvement that we would have liked to see were related to the A/C and the fridge. The A/C appeared to shut off completely or turn to a very high level while we were gone so the room was pretty unpleasantly hot when we came back to the room until it cooled down. The fridge was under the bed in a cabinet and the fridge radiated heat. The heat got trapped in that cabinet and seemed to prevent the fridge from getting too cold. Not the end of the world but coming back to a hot room and having warm-ish water wasn't ideal.

The hotel is located in downtown, 5 min. walking from Clarke MRT station, approx. 7 min from Raffles Place MRT. It cost me about 1.45 US dollars for my one way ticket from Changi Airport to get to the hotel via MRT (East West Line). The staff is excellent. Rooms are tiny. However, if you need just to have a room to spend your nights while you are in Singapore, and you are not willing to spend a lot of money for your trip, this hotel should be on your list to check it out.

Clean and central location for a short stay in Singapore. The room was the right size for one person to just sleep in with a decent sized bathroom. Central to Chinatown which is an easy walk to, along with Clarke Quay and Marina Bay.
The metro is a few minutes walk away and connects easily to the airport. I would recommend this hotel as a good place to stay.

Wake up with a rash all over my body. This rooms aren't healthy. I can see the molds in the bathroom.

Even though the room was fairly small, it was a very convenient stay in. With a great location like this, there is no problems at all getting around exploring by foot as well as catching the train if you wish to go far. Small things such as the complimentary coffee machine down in the lobby was also a nice touch. Would definitely stay again.

Modern amenities but a pricey for the small space

Near Clarke-Quay MRT if you’re taking it from the airport but you’ll have to make 3 transfers and walk about a kilometer. Take Exit A as it’s the closest. The hotel is small. The coffee machine is free but cold drinks would be better in a place that’s hot and humid. Water awaits in the room. Check-in was quick and a small elevator will whisk you up to your room. The room is modern with a glass-enclosed, 5 sq.-ft bathroom. The bed is elevated w/ the space under act as storage for 1 big luggage, a small fridge (did not cool our drinks much), a safe & a drawer. If you’re disabled, the set-up may not work as you have to take 2-3 flights of steps to get into bed. There’s a dresser but the space is occupied by a pitcher, mugs & glasses with a few packs of instant coffee mix. It lacked a cabinet. No plain hangers either. A ladder on the foot of the bed where a phone sits seem to serve this purpose –but, again, no good if you’re handicapped. A/C is great – we had it at coldest every time. TV had only standard channels. WiFi was OK. The bathroom’s fixtures are modern with good pressure when using the handheld spout. Pressure is low on the overhead spout. If going to Chinatown, don’t use MTR. Just walk across the park opposite the hotel & it’s just a block away. People’s Park Complex is also there where you can have cheap ‘hawker-style’ food. Overall, for the price (US$97 a night) for 2 px – we rate it as 2.5 to 3-star hotel- It’s pricey for the cramped space it provided.

Overnighter en route to oz. communication prior to arrival had been very good. Arrived very smooth check in . Room very small but I knew that. But everything you could want in it. Very good toiletries in the bathroom and some comp water. Bed Very comfortable. For a solo travellers perfectly good as a couple maybe s bit too tight. But the price is right. Location great. I dropped the grade as the inside of the shower had a few bits of mildew. Left my luggage all the next day - reception very helpful

A room with no view

I chose this hotel because it was near a metro station, and it provided me with the basic requirements that i was looking for. Check in was fast and friendly, while the room was clean and somewhat comfortable. My only negative comment is that the room was very small/compact with no windows,no place to walk around or eat my takeout. I must commend them for making use of every available space and for all the amenities in the room.They had spaces under the bed for storage and a mini fridge. I should have read the description a little more. Overall, not a bad place, if this is what you are looking for and the guy at the front desk was helpful.
