Great 4 day stay, accessible for bus and underground. Room was clean but furnishings outdated and worn. Good pool area and laundry. Breakfast was ample and was open until 10 am which I liked. We booked an executive suite and enjoyed the complimentary drink and nibbles which enabled us to relax and chat with other travellers. Ivy really was a gem and looked after us well. We booked a taxi for early transfer to the airport, excellent service. Would stay here again.

The hotel is in a very convenient location for exploring. It's next to an MRT station but you can walk everywhere. The rooms are clean and comfy and mine had a lovely view towards to bay. It was my fourth time there and I'd definitely go back, but take your own conditioner, there was only shampoo!! It's excellent value for what you get

The hotel lobby was great. The receptionist was polite but not super friendly. But then provided a great opportunity based on our situation.
The rooms were well equipped, but they need to be upgraded. Paint missing, cracks etc just need a bit of TLC.

Great breakfast buffet. Connected bridges were very convenient in hot humid Singapore weather. Our room's hair dryer was a little problem. It wasn't in the bathroom, but out at the desk. When using it, it was dangling in the air. Great location.

I requested for my room to be cleaned every other day to remove trash and replace towels. The hotel obliged and all went well.
The staff has been excellent. The hotel is very busy because of the great location. Front desk staff Reva was extremely pleasant and helpful. The concierge team, especially Raman and Rajah are excellent!

Did not use the pool, room on the 16th march 2026 was straight out of the 1980's the shower was , stand in an old bath , pull a plastic shower curtain around and use a hand held shower head , walls we painted probably over covid by someone not a painter , i was not impressed . In the lift it listed as an executive suite, getting out of the lift we were confronted with construction work 2 rooms away . Why would they put us in that room.

Furama city centre was in a very good location, close by to the MRT (we took the train and it meant only 1 transfer and a lot of sitting, which we appreciated) and in the heart of Chinatown, which meant a lot of shopping and food options as well. There were lots of amenities on site and the staff were very helpful. The AC was also really good in our room! There wasn't much noise coming from outside either. I'd stay here again if I had the chance to visit Singapore again.

The pool is not suitable for disability people. The steps are not good. Our first room was terrible. The bathroom terrible and the TV didnt work. We reported the tv on our first day and it wasnt checked till the next day and we were given another room which was good. Almost the same as the one I stayed in back in november 35. Unfortunstely we only had 1 night in the good room.

This hotel is dated but if you are looking for a budget friendly hotel, this is your go to. The linens are clean, the buffet for breakfast was great and had many options and the staff were friendly and efficient! Ray in the executive club bar at happy hour was so amazing and kept your glass filled at the same time as being friendly and helpful with directions for the go to places.

The hotel is very well located for access to buses and the MRT(the trains). The hotel has an excellent pool which is a bonus, allowing a pleasant way to relax after a day of exploring. The staff were courteous and our room was pleasant.

Location is good for MRT access and food/attraction. That's about it. Rooms are pretty basic, not much for amenities. Also be aware that they only will do housekeeping every 3 days, so expect to re-use all your towels, which will be forever damp due to not being able to dry fully in the room. Also our bedsheets had a noticeable stain on them when we check in, staff did not do anything for it. Housekeeping also did not change out our bed sheets even once during the entire 6 night stay, even after requested. Keep expectations low here when it comes to service.

The rooms are clean but could desperately use a new paint job and some new dry-wall. Everything is rather sparse. You don't get a bottle of water and need to fill a carafe up down the hall. The carafe is larger than the dispenser though and the water pressure very low, so you stand there for 3 minutes holding the carafe as it slowly fills. No top is provided for the carafe. They clean rooms on a 3 day rotation, so if you miss your day because you have a \"do not disturb\" sign on your door, they won't be back for 3 more days.

The showers sre terrible when it comes to regulating the temperature of the water. It is very slow to adjust (about 2 minutes) and it just gets hotter and hotter until it is scalding.

The restaurant, lobby and lounge areas are fine.

It is well located with plethora of shops and restaurants ranging from haute-cuisine food and designer shops, to very low priced stores and local food stalls in the plaza where you can get a meal for 5 Singaporan dollars. Take note of themprices though as in some local shops and restaurants, there is local and tourist pricing. If you tire of thenlocal fare, there is a Burger King, McDonalds, and Kentucky Fried Chiken across the street. A note about KFC, the chicken pieces are a lot larger than.in North America.

Good location, close to the Chinatown district and within 10-15 mins walk of a few good hawker centres. Also has a mall close by which is a 2 min walk from the lobby, via an undercover footbridge (with a small amount of steps).

Room size was good and very clean.

We stayed with a toddler and they provided a cot.

Great location , clean,attentive staff. Was upgraded to newly renovated room. Nothing like the photos of the room I booked . No storage,no desk, serviced every 3 days. No arm chair ,bed was very firm and uncomfortable,fridge was shoved into a small wooden cupboard with no ventilation did not get cold. In general it was a disappointment. All show and not practical ,single night stay ok. Extended not practical at all. Sorry guys it was a fail!!

This might be the best hotel value in Singapore. It is about a block to the MRT Chinatown station. Across the street is Chinatown point mall where you can find many restaurants and a western style supermarket in the basement level. The check in was a breeze and the rooms are in good condition for a hotel of this age. Overall highly recommended.

One of the most comfortable bed/pillows I’ve ever encountered in a hotel.
The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a waffle maker providing a real morning treat.
The only slight downsides were a noisy bathroom drain and a fixed shower head pointing directly at the shower door meant that the bathroom floor got wet.
Rooms are only cleaned every 3 days, but fresh towels, tea and coffee sachets are always available

The rooms, whilst a little dated, were comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. The buffet was fantastic with a wide selection of food from all over the world. The best thing about the hotel though was its amazing location. 2 minute walk to Chinatown, 2 minutes to MRT stations and just a 10 minute walk to Clarke Quay and Boat Quay.

Amazing stay with Furama City Centre. The room was spacious and comfortable. The pool was very inviting, especially after a ling day out sightseeing. Our booking included club lounge access and were very well looked after. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices. Evening cocktails were fantastic and our hosts were the best. An overall great experience.
