The staff was really nice. The location is perfect. You are right beside everything you need. You can walk everywhere as it’s such an easy city to maneuver in.
We did get the base room which is very small and has no window. Be aware if that bothers you. For us it was perfect. And we spent our time at the pool upstairs anyways when relaxing.

A plus for having a small fridge, plenty of lights and outlets.
Ive stayed there before, so i knew the room is tiny, no place for storage, its a wet bath and entire bathroom gets wet when you shower. Seems the bathroom is always clogged and you stand in 2 inches of water each time you shower. Room and bathroom very clean, clean sheets, extra pillows, great towels, big screen tv and coffee machine all a plus. Unfortunately, bed is super uncomfortable. A/c seems to turn off or adjust the temperature in middle of the nite. Always gets hot during the evening.
Breakfast thats included is just bad.
No juice, only flavored water or \"orange powedered drink, all the pastries, croissants are always stale, very little variety and eggs predone and only sunny side up or omelet, depending on the day.
Hiwever, the breakfast staff could not be any nicer and trying to accommodate. Super super nice and try so hard to.please. unfortunately it doesnt help the bad breakfast. Apparently they do coffee to orefer i thonk, but was never made aware, i just saw a cappuccino served once.

Room is good enough for solo traveller.

Plus points: Good location-5min walk from Clarke Quay MRT Station. Room aircon is strong and you can adjust it too. Hotel and restaurant staff are nice and courteous. Tea and coffee in the room (but no mineral water bottle). Toothbrush provided, shampoo and body wash via dispenser. There's a safe and luggage rack too.

Cons: En-suite bathroom is small. Ok for me but some may not like it as there is no separate partition for bathing, i.e. the whole floor and toilet bowl will be wet. No room slippers. No face towel, no hand soap, no hair conditioner.

Overall, still a good place to stay if you are not fussy, prefer a central location and spend little time in the room.

Clarke Quay is amazing place - full of bars and restaurants and the hotel is ideally situated less than a 5 minute walk from the MRT.

Once you get over how small the room is, you work round it as we did for 6 nights.

All the staff were lovely - very accommodating, especially when we asked for extra tea bags when wandering in at 1am!

Our room was on the 6th floor, right next to the pool - which was great in itself but maybe could do with some privacy film on the room windows as we were unable to open the curtains for some natural daylight!

Room size - small!

Overall - great value for money especially as it was Grand Prix weekend - which was also brilliant! As long as you take it for what it is, then it’s absolutely superb!

Stayed here for Singapore F1 2025. Location is convenient - just 10-12 minute walk to the race entrance, 4 minute walk to Clark Quay nightlife area, and 8 minute walk to MRT station in Chinatown. Room rate was on the high side because of race weekend but so were all the other hotels that were a reasonable distance to the race.

Rooms were basic accomodations but that's all we wanted/needed. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again in the future!

The front of house staff at this hotel really make it, they were exceptional!!
The hotel itself was clean and in a very good position with plenty of restaurants, bars, shopping, transport etc nearby. The rooms and bathrooms though, really are extremely small. You will need to balance if paying extra money is worth extra space and comfort in a different hotel for you. We only had 1 night and an overnight bag, but would pay more next time as we felt a little claustrophobic.

Very helpful staff (Amirah and Simon) helped swap around my room to give early check in (so needed it after a long haul flight), and also gave me one hour late checkout at no cost.

Room was as you would expect for Ibis Budget, not overly fancy, but comfortable and had what you need. Perfect location opposite the MTR and around the corner from Boat Quay, 10 minute walk to China Town

This hotel is certainly on the cheaper side of hotel options in Singapore but it has everything you need. There is a restaurant next door for a quick bite to eat or just a 5 minute walk to Clarke quay for lots more options. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Simon & Jess. The only downside is the size of the room which was fine as a single traveller but for a couple, it may be very tight.

Overall the hotel did what we needed it to. For the price, expect the rooms to be on the smaller side.
They allow you to store your luggage which was important as my flight wasn’t until midnight. They also arranged a very reasonably priced taxi to take us back to the airport. Both of the above points make this an ideal place for a night or two. The rooftop pool is also a bonus - definitely cold! The bathroom is more of a wet room really with the toilet getting saturated from the shower. Breakfast is at the cafe next door, reasonably priced and saves you time looking for somewhere.

A fantastic hotel in the heart of Singapore. Lots to do in the local area with so many shops, bars and restaurants for a nice way to unwind in the evening. Most staff are very nice and polite. Kai helped us checking in and checking out. We would like to appreciate this gentleman who represents Singaporean politeness. The room was small. One mattress almost fell out of the bed during the last night. The washroom is different with website photo, shabby and not convenient in real condition. I had not used such washroom in any other hotels for years before staying here. No bottled water provided, which was ok for us, but website should not use bottled water to mislead customers.

The building and facilities of this hotel should be closed by the authorities. The hotel entrance is a threat to the physical integrity of guests. The steps are high and have no safety coverings. There is no ramp for disabled people or seniors who use walkers or wheelchairs. The rooms are incarcerated due to their size. An adult can barely fit in the bathroom to relieve themselves. It is definitely not for tourists. If you want to stay, this is not recommended. Contrary to these serious deficiencies, the friendliness and high level of service of the STAFF stands out, as they do everything possible to help guests avoid any disasters.

I stayed here with my partner for 4 nights located in Clarke Quay which is about a 10 minute walk to where the shopping area is which has plenty of different style restaurants. The hotel itself was adequate although small, the room we stayed in was very small and basic although it still had a lot of the facilities you need, including a safe and a hot water machine for making tea/coffee. The pool is located at the top which is long and narrow but only a few sun loungers and chairs. The staff were very friendly though and accommodating who were called Naz, Simon, Ezra and Durroy. We had not booked breakfast which was probably just as well as the area next to the hotel where the breakfast was presumably served was being renovated which was almost completed by the time we left. We headed over to where the MRT is where there are bars and Burger King to have breakfast! Getting around on the driverless trains on the MRT was quite simple once you get to know the hang of it and know where to change, the train stations we saw were all lovely and clean and very modern looking. For the 4 days we were in Singapore we tapped in and out using our debit cards which only cost £10.15 which we found to be reasonable considering how much we used it everyday and how far we went. We did find Clarke Quay to be quite expensive though and we often went out to eat at the food halls (we went to Marina Sands and Harbour Front) which were a lot cheaper and quite adequate.

The hotel is perfect for those who just need a place to sleep at the end of day while sightseeing in Singapore. The staff is attentive and friendly. The room is small and not much to spread your things. I wouldn't recommend it if you are sensitive to dust as the vent was dusty in the bathroom. It is also a wet bathroom. If you need the shower and toilet separate, choose another hotel.

Yes the rooms are small; very small! Somehow they managed a fit 2 twin beds, a safe and a small fridge into the room. We put our large bags under the beds and lived out of our carryon bags. The beds are very comfortable and the air conditioning very effective. The housekeeping staff do a great job of making the beds with such a small space to work in.
The bathroom is very clean. Turn on a switch outside the bathroom for to get plentiful hot water. The squeegee provided in the bathroom is very effective to dry up the shower area.
The location is excellent and is across the road from the Clarke Quay MRT. China town is walking distance as are many other attractions.
There is a small 7/11 store right next to the hotel.
The staff are amazing. A big thank you to Danny, Kai, Nad and Amirah for all their helpful suggestions and their welcoming smiles!

It was only one block away from the Clarke Quay MRT station, so the was very nice and convenient. It was also extremely close to a large mall for shopping and dining if one chose to do so. The rooms are very small, but that typical for Singapore “budget” hotels, even though they are not cheap. There is also a small 7eleven right next door which is very convenient so you can buy water for your room since they don’t provide it. It was a little frustrating though when I saw my first room. I was put in one with no window so I called and asked if I could move to one with a window. I was told I didn’t pay for that level of a room so there would be an upgrade charge. To be honest, I don’t think there was an option when I booked it for window/non-window rooms, so I’m not sure if that was just a way to get more money from me or not. Anyways, I did it and then regretted doing it when I saw the new room. Unless your room is facing Hongkong street, a window room is barely worth it so keep that in mind if you’re looking to “upgrade.” Dispite all of that, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Kai for solving an electric issue in my room. The lights just randomly turned off with the key card in the slot. He came up right away to take a look and assure it wouldn’t happen again.

Twin bed room very small,ok for a 2nite stay,didnt unpack as no facilities to put clothes..
Rooftop pool was amazing though very clean,towels and shower avalable,lovely to cool down after sightseeing.
