The location of the hotel is good, a little outdated, could not open a window for fresh air, lack of natural light. The pool area is old and unkept, the tiles in the pool need a good clean. I would not stay again, I should have paid a bit more money and stayed elsewhere. The only reason I selected this hotel was it had a pool and gym. Didn’t even go to the gym when I saw what the pool looked like!

Really nice and comfy hotel located in Bugis and walkable (or a short bus ride away) from all the main attractions in Singapore. A 24h hawker center is right across the street. The AC works well. Rooms are clean and spacious. All in all I'll be back at this hotel the next time I'm in S-town.

Getting a little tired. Even though it has been upgraded it still looks as if it lacks maintenance. TV a bit small and tinny. Aircon loud except on slowest setting. Small lifts. Room was clean and bed comfortable.

Unfortunately this hotel looks OK from the outside however rooms are very run down, bathroom was moldy. Breakfast was OK. Pool area is run down. They don't accept Visa or MasterCard debit cards so we had to go get cash out of an ATM for them. Won't return to this place.

The room was dark and depressing and very dated. Each day it was hit and miss to what towels you would get and toiletries. Also only got two teabags per day and no milk. Tv channel selection was dreadfull. The pool area was extremely tired and uninviting and was not relaxing due to being next to a playschool.The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. And all the reception staff were very pleasant.Location was ok.

The hotel was in a great location and staff were very helpful. The room was clean apart from the grime on the outside of the windows in the room. Definitely needs a good clean. Apart from that it was perfect and also had a laundry room where i could do my own washing which was convenient

This hotel has seen better days. The staff was friendly and helpful, but on the whole we were glad to only spend 2 nights at this hotel. Very noisy room (HVAC air handlers?), worn out carpets, sloppy and tired paint. The neighborhood is busy, but not immediately that interesting.
The beds were comfortable, but room amenities need to be updated.
The pool was nice, but the adjoining deck up one level needs a fix up and remodel.
Time seems to have forgotten the Hotel Grand Pacific.

IMO a very good 3 star hotel. Good breakfast options. The room I was given was clean and it was roomy for two people sharing. The bathroom was clean, towels fresh however personal preference for a shower rather than bathtub. But it was still all good

Still no ramp for suitcase to be brought up the short flight of steps at the entrance. Alright if you're able and fit person but not so if you're a senior traveller..

Overall a good stay. But this hotel is tired and dated. Air-conditioning didn’t cool the room properly, bed smelt of cigarette smoke, temperature in shower was difficult to control. Staff were very friendly and obliging and attentive.

Budget friendly accomodation. Dated but clean and tidy. Basic needs met. Pay for what you get and was the most affordable accommodation for my family of 3, as was able to have 3 singles in one room. Room was near lists so a bit noisy, any room ending 14 eg 614 try to avoid as backs onto the lifts.

Excellent location, short walk to Bugis mall and street markets.

Room was not as expected for three people.
Despite contacting hotel and booking for three. We were given a room with two single beds, one coffee cup and two bath towels. The staff were friendly and helpful. They did correct the situation with a roll-out bed, extra cups and towel. We arrived late (10:30pm) after a days travel. So our patience and humour wasn't at peak level.
We had expected Three full beds or a double and one single. This was what was advertised on the website. Not a roll-out bed. The hotel is in need of maintenance. And this may well be something the management intends to do. Hopefully soon.

Hotel Grand Pacific is in an excellent location near many of Singapore's attractions and shopping area's!
Hotel Grand Pacific is an excellent hotel with outstanding staff especially manager Mr. Bernard Ho, reception staff mdm Christine, Ms. Mindy, Sun cafe in hotel staff Melsha and Katty bell staff Mr. Velu is super helpful from assisting guests with luggage to visitor information about sights in Singapore along with directions all are outstanding and a credit to the superb service at Hotel Grand Pacific Singapore!

First room was sub-par and in need of renovation.Bathroom was highly patched up and in poor condition for the category and rate. Carpet was dirty.
Hotel staff was kindly able to move me to a higher floor with better room in same category. You would be well advised to arrange/ask for a newer room if possible. Certainly check the room before unpacking.
Both rooms had televisions with terrible reception and very limited selection. Both rooms had sinks with poor draining.
Elevators worked awkwardly; there are two banks of lifts that DO NOT share the same call button so be aware you have to hit two different up or down buttons..
Pool area is awkward to get to and closes unusually early at 6PM. Changing rooms were not particularly clean.
Location of hotel is good - bus stop in front and around the corner. Location is about a 5-7 minute bus ride to the Suntec convention center. Hotel is also nearby to MRT (metro rail) stop at Bugis Station However be aware that the MRT trains are several levels below ground and navigation to the surface can be a bit confusing. I advise using the lift/elevator to get to the surface and then try to navigate to the hotel.
Was not happy with the breakfast service. Limited buffet selection of not well \"maintained\" food - especially with respect to temperature - not hot enough! Better options elsewhere.
Be aware that there is a $300 Singapore dollar hold on your credit card while staying here. It was promptly refunded at the end of the stay.

I was travelling from Melbourne with family and is terribly disappointed by the hotel service as compared to the services we are used to in Melbourne.
To begin with I had requested for an early check in which after back and forth conversation was granted with the notion that the request will not be honoured next time. I was really disappointed to hear this that I did not proceed to make any more requests.
When we arrived, no one helped us with the baggage and staff were in general rude.
The bed was not made well with bumps and lumps. The air condition if turned on beyond 20degrees gave out a foul smell so we had to keep it at 25 degrees throughout while it was 32 degrees outside. Overall the hotel experience was poor and not recommended. The only convenience is that it’s located well.

The Hotel was insensitive to a medical appointment related to a taxi crash, not allowing me to shift my dates forward a few days. Hotels.com indicated they also sought assistance 4 days in advance from the original check-in date but were denied. I am a journalist that may have share this situation so other select a different Singapore Hotel....one with a heart and a conscience

We had a very comfortable stay at the Grand Pacific for 5 nights. The location is very convenient to get around in Singapore by public transport as well as walking. There’s bus stops right outside the hotel and within 250m from the hotel, you can practically get a bus to anywhere in Singapore.

I would rate this property a 5 star, except for a few reasons. We arrived at 5am and while I totally understand check-in is at 3pm, I would expect from a service perspective that you atleast offer your guests (who have already completed check-in formalities) waiting in your lobby a bottle of water as a courtesy. We had shifts change from the night to the early morning staff, but felt overlooked for more than 3 hours as we headed out at 8am.

The room telephone wasn’t working, which we discovered the next day. The staff were prompt to send maintenance crew to have a look, but it seemed the line was dead and needed external contractors to attend. We opted for the issue to not be looked at, but ideally one would expect this to be picked up in checks while the room is prepared.

Our 3 year old’s bath towel was mistakenly collected by the housekeeping staff while changing towels on Day2, and I had to keep following up the issue. However, Lee and Christine were better than other staff who took the trouble to look into it and help redress. Christine helper reimburse me while checking out, which I appreciated. It was hard to explain to a toddler why their towel disappeared.

We appreciated it very much when upon check-in we were that our room was upgraded. Thank you very much Hotel Grand Pacific.
But to our dismay, the water pressure in the shower was not high. And we noticed that when someone is using water from other rooms, the water pressure drops. First time to experience that.
The spread of the buffet breakfast is good.

At first, we were given a room at the 15/F where the TV and telephone were both not working. Upon our request, however, the hotel immediately transferred us to a nicer room at the 5/F. The hotel is conveniently located near bus stops and the Bugis area.

As stated by other guest the property is dated. Rooms look like they didnt change much since the 90s. The washroom feels like my old apartment washroom. The the gym is small with limited weights. Its different from the pictures shown on Expedia. Its actually better. The have dumbbells that go up to 20kg and a modern resistance machine, one treadmill and a stationary bike. Breakfast is decent. They usually change it every other day. You can usually hear your neighbors or people in the hallway though but they quite down at night so its not too bad. Now the pros. Staff are great and helpful. They are friendly, polite and quick to offer help when needed. Alot of things are close by like the bus, trains and shopping malls. A 7-11 and money exchange are meters away. Bugis shopping area located 4 blocks away is great for bargains, cheap chocolates and food. The rooms are roomy by singapore standard and ceilings are high. The washroom is comfortable and the beds are comfy if small.

Breakfast is a highliight with an amazing buffet! Very convenient location, easy to get to from the airport on the train and can walk to most main sights in SIngapore.

Worst hotel!!!!

We booked two rooms with this hotel over the New Years holiday. It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Firstly check-in was later than the time given disrupting our plans. Additionally, the room had used cups and used soap in the bathroom from the previous guests (seen in attached photos). When we explained this all to the reception staff and manager they were extremely rude back to us and nothing was done to solve our issues- they just gave attitude back. I would definitely not recommend- as agreed by our neighbours in the hotel!
