This is smaller than what we might normally stay but it is well appointed with everything you need. The elevators are a little slow but in good working order. The property needs some minor upkeep but is very pleasing. The main reason for not giving it a 5 is no room cleaning unless requested. It is very well located with a short walk to subway(MRT) and shopping at Bugis area.

Hotel was great. It's in a good location. Room was clean and comfortable and staff were excellent. We had two issues that need attention:
1. For most of our stay, two of the four elevators were out of service. Maybe just an unfortunate coincidence, but led to some long waits on multiple occasions.
2. The hotel provides info about water and energy conservation, which is especially important in Singapore. However, the hot water in our room often took about five minutes to arrive - meaning we had to wait for a hot shower and probably wasted hundreds of litres of water down the drain every day. Multiply this by many rooms and this hotel is wasting a phenomenal amount of water.

The staffs are nice,helpful,accommodating,friendly, the room is quiet small just enough space for 2 people, you can hear noise from outside, pillows are very firm, breakfast is okay, close to most restaurants, bus stop is in front of the hotel, & water is provided by a dispenser in each floor.

Staff were just fine. My room had a king size bed and a single bed, but the room was too small for both beds. The middle person couldn't get out of the bed except from the foot of the bed. Worse - there were only two light switches - one for the bathroom and one for the whole rest of the room. If someone had to go to the bathroom In the middle of the night, the bathroom light shone directly into the eyes of the other two sleeping. We never did figure out the room temperature controls. Just plane bad room design. We all had a bad night's sleep.

It was a very good hotel and was centrally connected to major attractions. The rooms were clean and well maintained.
The front staff were very helpful.
My only negative comment is about the breakfast place. It was very crowded and vegetarian options can be improved.

Courteous and respectful staff stood out. Breakfast at Taste was great, lot of choices. Property is well located, close to MRT stations and bus stops, nice area with a vibrant university students population.
Room was small but comfortable and had all what I needed for a short stay. Following modern trends, have hardly any closet space. Elevators have a \"15 person capacity\" sign but I see no way that could happen 😂
El personal, amable y respetuoso, fue excepcional. El desayuno en Taste fue estupendo, con mucha variedad. El hotel está bien ubicado, cerca de estaciones de metro y paradas de autobús, en una zona agradable con una animada población estudiantil universitaria.
La habitación era pequeña pero cómoda y tenía todo lo que necesitaba para una estancia corta. Siguiendo las tendencias modernas, apenas tiene espacio de armario. Los ascensores tienen un cartel que indica una capacidad para 15 personas, pero no veo la manera de que eso sea posible 😂

The breakfast had a huge variety of ethnic food to satisfy all of their clientele from all over the world. Great location. Bus right at the door, MRT just down the street. Walking distance to many areas of interest. Staff was excellent. Very accommodating. I would stay here again.

Well located for the Bugis Centre and a short walk to Arab Street (if you can stand the heat!) this hotel is a relatively affordable and good value option being only a 10min taxi ride to popular areas such as Marina Bay.

The rooms themselves are clean, well appointed but very small. So if you’re in Singapore to get out and see what it has to offer then it’s a perfect choice, but if you’re expecting to spend time in your room, are staying longer than a few days or need to have a travel cot for a baby, then I’d recommend looking at other options.

First of all I say that I would be happy to stay here again and recommend the hotel to my family and friends. I have previously stayed in Orchard area and in Chinatown, and I was happy with my choice of this location too as it was walkable to areas of interest to me and plenty of diverse dining options. The room is well designed and appointed as is the bathroom. I was very comfortable staying in the space for 5 nights. Check in was efficient and quick. One minor issue was that when I asked “do you have umbrellas available for guests?” I was told I could buy one from 7eleven next door! I said that’s good to know, but do you have umbrellas available if a guest needs one. I was then told the hotel does have a few umbrellas on a first come first serve basis! The check out was a bit slower than it needed to be as the reception staff member dealing with my check out kept stopping to help a colleague beside him. He appeared more interested in what was happening with the next counter than the check out he was handing, mine.
Couple of other issues. The aircon in the room never got the room cool enough, even at night. Which was at times uncomfortable, but at least it was not too cold as I have experienced in another hotel previously.
And the elevators (4) were really too slow at the floor level. At the lobby level no problem. But at the floor level the wait was often just too long for a hotel such as this.
I did not use any of the hotel on-site facilities. Thank you.

This was a budget friendly clean hotel. Our room had all the basics needed and was very conveniently located for transit and restaurants, especially since it was very close to Little India.
It would have been nice to have a larger closet area but the room was a good size given the price. We had a minor problem with the safe and the staff fixed it immediately, so I was very happy with the service.

Ibis on Bencoolen is in an amazing location close to easy breakfast options, 711 and the Albert hawker centre. Reception is 24/7 which was great for our 1am checkin which was fast and efficient. Room is basic but comfortable and with a 3 bed configuration is a perfect family base for daily adventures. Hotel is extremely busy so elevators are often full and may have to wait for a while at peak times or cram in. Perfect to sleep in and go.

We had a comfortable stay at this hotel! The room was small but quite adequate, with useful amenities included. Great location close to several buses/metro stops and in walking distance from several sights/neighborhoods. The breakfast buffet was extensive and very generous. Definitely good value for money in my opinion and would recommend.

A couple things stood out: 1) a deposit is collected at check-in and charged to the credit card. I'm still waiting for that to be refunded and hope it won't be an issue. I believe it takes up to 30 days to get that back. Other hotels I've stayed out have done a credit card hold vs an actual charge, so keep that in mind. 2) The elevators are quite loud so if you are a light sleeper, request a room away from them. I found them quite annoying late at night/in the early morning, but eventually managed to tune them out.
