The shower was part of the bathroom but not separate, so every time you showered the room including basin and toilet got wet.The room was serviced every day, so no complained there. Good location - 10 minutes walk to MRT

You get what you pay for - wet room for bathroom was annoying at times but room was clean. It’s small so hard fitting more than 2 bags. Very convenient and great if you don’t plan on been in room besides fir sleep.

Ok this hotel is very very basic and the room is super small. If you just want a quick sleep it’s ok. Bathroom is super small and it’s a shower head over the toilet. I left early as really uncomfortable. No window in room and aircon left us feeling not good when we woke up. Staff nice and reasonable clean. Defo would not stay again.

It may be an Ibis budget but facilities and customer service were excellent.
From checking in to leaving, reception staff were always welcoming and helpful, very knowledgeable.
My room as expected was small but perfectly adequate as a base, as this hotel is right in the centre of the city and only a short taxi ride from the airport.
Perfect for a solo female traveller, couldn't have asked for more. I would definitely stay again.

Clean and efficient room. Mine did not have a window, I didn't mind that. Very friendly and helpful staff. Proximity to Bugis MRT station is very convenient. Bus stops are even closer. Plenty of shopping and dining options in Bugis Junction, Suntec City, Marina Square, to name a few. Only a few minutes bus ride to Chinatown, Maxwell Food Center.

Overall great location and very budget - there's a humidifier in the room that needs to be kept on all night otherwise everything is wet, we tried to keep it off but within half an hour there was condensation starting everywhere, wet platform etc so needs to be on - capacity isn't that big for how much gets filled up so in the middle of the night it beeps to be emptied.

Room was a superior one so I cannot talk about the other rooms.
I was initially worried about how it would be but I have not been deceived by IBIS hotels. I stayed in my first one in Lyon then in Portsmouth UK and in Singapore was all good places.
If you are looking for higher standards, just go to the others but for me that was a perfect place.
Noise was mainly from other guests and unfortunately manners is not something that all people have.
Had some humming sound from the electrical switch board and a partially clogged sink but the staff were very kind and helpful. They even proposed to change my room. I was OK with what I had and in the end the humming sound from the electrical board above the bed was repaired,
The place is as clean as the shopping malls in Singapore,
It's safe and walking distance to all.
When it rains, no problem, the kind and helpful staff of IBIS are here to help you.

We have never stayed in a room before that was so small. Impossible to swing a cat in there! Nowhere to store luggage or clothes.
And the bathroom/toilet combo was smaller than we have in our campervan. 4 feet by 4 feet!
We were lucky we were only there to sleep as we arrived late and left the next day.
But the staff were happy and smiling and very helpful.

Think twice before you try it

Despite being aware of the negative reviews, I decided to give this hotel a chance. Unfortunately, the reality was even worse than my worst fears. The room was extremely disappointing and fell far short of my expectations. The exorbitant prices in Singapore make it difficult to find affordable accommodations, and this hotel is certainly not a budget-friendly option. The lack of a proper shower was a major inconvenience, and the windows were sealed shut, leaving no opportunity for fresh air. To make matters worse, the air conditioning system caused water to condense and flood the room on occasion. However, I must commend the friendly and helpful staff, as well as the hotel's convenient location.

Pros: Great location, close to Bugis Junction and MRT. Small 711 next to it. Lift was quick and clean. All staff in lobby was nice and welcoming. The room soundproofing is OK for Asia rooms, just a bit noisy when there are guest talking outside in hallways/lift area.

Cons: The cleaner did not change the bedding even if you put the make room sign up, all they did was flip the quilt to the other side and swap the pillows around which was not OK. Very humid inside the room. Toiletries other than shower gel and shampoo is no longer provided to be inline with the Govt plastic use which is okay but it is still advertised as toiletries included in the Expedia listing which is unclear for Asia travelling. Shower gel was also not filled upon arrival which begs the questions if the room was cleaned before, I'm sure if you asked it to be refilled they would of. No bar fridge but it is as advertised so expected.

Overall the place is fine, the room is OK size for Asia. The location is extremely convenient for shopping, walkability to other places and MRT. Only downside is the cleaniness and the humidity in the room.

The location of the hotel is excellent. If you want an affordable stay in a nice area, I definitely recommend this hotel. I gave 3 star rating because the bed was very hard, after 5 nights my body was sore from the hard mattress. The cleaning staff gave me an extra towel on request in the morning, but would take it away before I could use it when they came to tidy the room - not their fault but we didn’t have enough towels. Extra pillows were not provided on request, which was unfortunate due to the hard beds. The bathroom was clean, the small room was fine, we didn’t mind it even with 2 people and luggage. Close to train, bus, shopping. If the beds were renewed I would certainly return. Good value for price.

Fair hotel for staying on a budget :)

Was an okay budget hotel. The bedding was not super clean in the begining because it is only changed if you ask or after some time. It was okay and had what you needed; it has air conditioning, shower, hair dryer. The check out is 12pm each day but sometimes the cleaners come earlier than that so best check out 10am or but the do not disturb sign out. We were given complimentary toothbrush and toohpaste but it kept getting thrown out for a new one each day which i didnt understand ? I can use a regular plastic toothbrush my whole stay, it seems awfully wasteful. I tried to keep it with my stuff but basically i had 10 toothbrushes my whole stay, that was the most stand out thing lol.

Very close to bugis + shopping mall and around a 10 minute walk to the MRT railway. It was in a great location for where i wanted to be.

Good stay though; i may use bugis budget again but i may also try another for a similar price.

Ibis is a exactly a budget hotel and nothing more. As a budget hotel, of course, quality of linens and towel is not good. The bathroom is very small and there is no shower stall at all. The water is not too hot either. BUT AGAIN, it is a budget hotel so nothing to complain about. However, they downgraded us to a different room and did not offer to adjust the rate. This I find disappointing. People who use budget hotels will mind that they paid more than what they got.

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay, it is clean, safe and well placed to see all the things on my list, the three members of staff on the front desk, Jason, Diyanna and Adrianna were all extremely helpful and friendly with good knowledge of the area and transport links. My only criticism is that the TV in my room was below par, it had 9 channels, only about 4 worked and they were not much use to me as a traveller, some basic movie channels would have made a difference. However, I would happily stay there again without hesitation.

Booked this hotel for my parents. The room is kind of small, no cupboard just few hanger. It is very near to bugis mrt and bugis junction. Beside hotel is a 7 eleven shop. Also can see mbs through window view.

Everything was clean, just the bed comforter got some dust.

Nice (but with small room) hotel near bus and MRT stations. Check in and check out were fast and hassle free. You can leave your luggage after checking out if you have more time to spare roaming around before your flight. We had a comfortable stay.

This is a budget hotel and as such it was as expected. Rooms are small and because its in a terrace most have no windows. We spent little time in our room as we were out and about so it was fine to sleep and shower. We had a problem with check in which took about an hour to resolve. The really good thing about this hotel is the location. Just round the corner from Bugis MRT and Bugis shopping mall. Its also about a 15/20 minute walk to bay area.

Location fantastic! Room horrible. More like a prison cell. No windows. Bathroom had handheld shower in front of toilet. Entire bathroom soaked when I took a shower. If you stay here be sure to request a ‘family room’. It will be slightly larger and have a small window. Mold so bad I couldn’t wear contacts. Eyes swollen shut every morning. Staff very sweet. Bring own amenities and wash cloth.

It's a non smoking property, but people were smoking. Fines are small for violation and people smoke and rooms and the entire floor was smelling of smoke.
Internet access is also slow, and mobile phone coverage was also poor in room. As a result am mostly incommunicado when in room.

[My room was on the 4th floor.] The bathroom / washroom / toilet room (same small space) had BUGs in it which made it extremely uncomfortable and unsettling to use the shower and toilet on top of the bathroom space, itself, being small and cramped. The ceilings were obviously molding and dirty from the humidity and negligence. Everything was so immediately unsettling it ruined the first day and a half of my vacation in Singapore for me; furthermore, when I left after the first night -- despite having reserved multiple nights -- to go to another, cleaner hotel, they held fast to their no refund policy despite the unfortunate circumstances. Never returning to this hotel!

it is a basic hotel and you get what you pay for but it can't be faulted on that basis. The room I had was small and windowless but I had a great nights sleep. I would not recommend the room I had for a couple - far too small for that but for a solo traveller it was ideal. The wifi worked perfectly, tv channels were not that great but you don't go there to watch tv. Also not much in the way of storage so lived out of my suitcase.

Ive stayed in better hostels!

Not the best! Bed tick solid. Ants in the bathroom and bed and kettle area. No window. Shower is infact a wet room! Under the showergel was mould. Could hear everything either side of room. Other hotel guests have no respect for others sleeping!!
