Nothing special with the service provided but was surprised and appreciable that was able to check in early. Its just a place to rest your head after a hectic day on travel. It would be great if able to keep the AC on while out thus not having to wait for the room to cool down.

However, despite the AirCon maintenance happening when I arrived, the room aircon still takes a long time to cool the room down. This issue appears to have persisted since my last stay in 2020. I really enjoyed my stay at Summer View, the staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was a great size for the price and free amenities were refilled daily (little snacks and water etc). Quite conveniently located nearby restaurants; my favourite being a delicious dry ban mian place \"Ng Kuan Chilli Pan Mee\". Loved it, would stay again for sure!

If staying for a few days for business, I prioritise a comfortable bed, the shower, somewhere to send a few emails and cleanliness. The hotel scored well on all of these. Great shower pressure in particular. The desk to send emails is a little cramped, but good enough. Plenty of food options nearby so didn't miss a restaurant or other services.

I loved that we were always greeted by the friendly staff when we walked in and the place always smelt so lovey, the location of the hotel was great and few mins walk to MRT Rochor station, which we used quite frequently to get to places. A few great places to eat all within walking distance of the hotel too.

Air con worked great and cooled down the room quickly, ended up checking out and then having to book another room after flights were delayed and they made the process very easy and got us checked into an available room straight away. Let us check out in the middle of night when we got notified to go to the airport again. Only thing is it was very hard to get a taxi in front of the property at around 2am to the airport. And ride share apps we weren’t sure about. Managed to get one after some time and it was very quick getting to the airport with no traffic less than 20 mins it took. Other times getting a taxi during normal hours in front of hotel was fine.

Being a vegetarian, the breakfast lacked veggie options. I already told the Manager that they could introduce yogurt and muesli to the buffet. The rest was fine. They did have a veggie rice, pasta and lettuce, but I like a simple continental breakfast. No bananas either.

My room has no windows, but is spacious for 2 persons. The toilet is very clean and bright. One of the single bed is a little shaky, and produce noise when I turn my body, but its still considered comfortable. Breakfast is simple. Lots of restaurants around, especially Chinese vegetarian food.

Conveniently located, close to MRT and just a short ride from the bay front, China Town and Little India. Very clean throughout. Good breakfast with plenty of choice. The room for three people was comfortable, but lacked any wardrobe or drawers - there were a few hangers. Staff were very efficient and courteous.

The check in was very slow and we had requested for a triple room but we only got a twin sharing room and it was only after we called the front desk that a 3rd bed was sent up to our room. Summer View Hotel is a good choice of a basic hotel in the heart of Singapore. Situated within easy walking distance, or quick MRT train ride, from Little India or Chinatown. The Hotel was clean, comfortable and very quiet even though it was on a main thoroughfare. We overcame the lack of a hand towel in the bathroom by purchasing two from a stall in Little India for a dollar. Check in was quick and easy. At the end of our stay we were able to leave our bags for later collection in a secure location with the hotel staff, free of charge. The taxi rank outside was quickly served by a local taxi to take us to the airport. Fares are set by the government so we knew the approximate cost of the taxi before we started.

Stayed three nights as I was attending a conference within the vicinity. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful during check-in and throughout my stay. Room was big, quiet (corner room 706) and clean with comfortable beds and strong wifi. Breakfast was simple but adequate. Proximity to MRT stations, restaurants and city centre made my stay a pleasant experience. Will certainly stay at Summer View again.

Location is close to shopping, restaurants, and many attractions. Walking distance to Bugis, Little India, Fort Canning etc. Bus stop and MRT nearby. Breakfast is worth the extra charge, but don't expect big variety. Staff friendly and helpful. Nice touch is mobile phone with free calls to local and many Asian countries. Only small quibble is with TV as not many channels and half of those are Chinese or other non-English. For those trying to keep kids entertained could be a problem. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Since my last stay at Summer View Hotel, major renovations have been made which made our stay more special. For convenience of markets, shops, MRT, buses, etc the Summer View Hotel can not be beaten. Also on MRT direct line from the airport. Small breakfast buffet started the day off well. Will be back next year.

The hotel is spacious (for singapore standard), very clean, comfy and value for money. Close to many MRT (Bencoolen, Bugis, Rochor) giving it a really easy access to explore Singapore. We really happy with the hotel area and room is really nice and clean, spotless! You get handy phone complementary, which comes really handy and useful. To get information or just browse to get to one area to another. Very close to eateries, just 2-3 mins walk. Overall, a nice experience.
