The location and staff were absolutely fantastic and truly the highlight of our stay. Unfortunately, the room we were assigned on a lower floor was extremely outdated and did not reflect the strong recommendations we had received. A friend who stayed just a few months ago had a great experience, but he was on a higher floor, which leads me to believe those rooms have been updated while others have not been touched in decades.

Our room felt dark and impractical, especially the bathroom. There were no usable outlets for a hair dryer or styling tools, and no mirror outside the bathroom—something that is especially important for female guests. These issues made getting ready unnecessarily difficult.

Given how wonderful the location and staff are, I strongly recommend a drastic makeover of the lower floors to bring them up to the standard guests expect. With renovations, this hotel could truly match its otherwise excellent reputation.

This hotel is close to the city and has good transport options. The breakfast is ok, but is very bland and you get sick of eating the same taste after a couple of days. Usually we book for a \"Twin Room\" for the 3 of us (2 Adults and our young son). This normally means at least 2 x Double or 2 x Queen beds. But this time it meant 2 x small Single Beds (for 3 of us!!!). This meant that our son had to literally sleep on the floor!!! So, my suggestion is that you improve the bedding descriptions (it shouldn't matter if it is on your website or on a third party site), EXACT bed descriptions should be given (and if the bed spaces don't match up with the number of people, you should say so... or contact the guest after it was booked).

Older but great hotel with very large ( by Singapore std ) rooms. Excellent staff. ( Got us early check in ).Great outdoor pool .
Perfect location if using public transport. Adj to 3 MRT stations and a large mall. Many food options locally .

Beds and pillows are VERY hard, which we love but may not be to everyone's taste.

Only complaint.
Lighting for the bathroom mirror is very dim - hard for women to put see to put make up on. Putting on make up by torch light is not easy.

Avoid this property completely. The staff is terrible, they don't answer the phone. Housekeeping would often forget to make my room. The hotel is in need of remodel. Location is great but not clean or friendly hotel. I think the owner has let go of the hotel and might not be paying the staff. Upon arrival they could not even find my reservation through expedia. It took them full 24 hrs to find it. Just a horrible stay. Lots of other options available but avoid this hotel.

The location is excellent, making it a convenient and enjoyable place for a family staycation. The swimming pool and jacuzzi were great, especially for the kids—they had a wonderful time. However, the service desk seemed quite busy during our stay. There was a long queue, and it was difficult to reach them by phone as calls went unanswered. The breakfast and club lounge is very good. Overall, we had a pleasant experience, but service responsiveness could be improved.

Club single room was excellent being a spacious room with a king bed, better than expected. Given a very early check in after arriving from Athens. Club room included breakfast every day, drinks and snacks in early evening and complimentary laundry. Will certainly be coming back to the Rendevous, also conveniently close to train in a very central location in Singapore. Staff were excellent, very friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Wow I guess I am quite lucky to meet Shanti.
She provide excellent service and I feel like a VIP.The check in SOP is quite standard but she make the different of wearing a warm smile throughout the check in.she explain clearly the hotel facility even though I only stay for one day.trust me it is very difficult to have such a customer service oriented well train counter staff.i hope to meet her again.if you are serve by her your stay will be different because she is the first touch point of the beginning of the whole entire experience.

Great hotel for a few days in Singapore. Next to the metro stop ( you cannot hear it in the hotel) so really easy to get to and from the airport and to visit the main tourist spots. Short walk to Canning Fort, Raffles etc. Small 7/11 just outside the hotel. Helpful staff, nice comfortable room, great location.

Perfect for 3 nights family of 4 in two adjoining rooms. Room a bit outdated but otherwise comfortable and fine.
Great central location, right near bus and train stations but we used taxi a lot as was a quicker option in a lot of cases for us.
The kids loved cooking off in the pool after our adventures out.

Our hotel stay has been extremely amazing. The staff at the club lounge are friendly and helpful and we feel so welcomed. A special shoutout to these three staff who have been so awesome, Sofie, Yamani & Dayang. The food served are fresh and delicious, with a fair variety. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the exclusive feeling. We love the junior suite room that was assigned to us on Level 10. It is spacious, and we were lucky to catch a wonderful view of the national day (rehearsal) fireworks. The sofa could be converted into a sofa bed and the bathroom is fantastic. It is a large bathroom with a bathtub, a separate shower and the toilet bowl has a bidet washlet mechanism and heated seats. Love the rainshower and massage spray functions too. Simply amazing!

Our room had damp, the wallpaper was peelng very small and dark, no storage. Windows were filthy. They had blowers in the hallways, not sure why but the smell was horrible. The naid changed the towels and didnt close our door properly, it was left open all day, could easily have been robbed. No cafe available in the morning, it was 55sgd for a breakfast. Over priced and over rated.

Really excellent! Great room, everything was new and great quality! Pool was great! Breakfast was very good!

The staff was excellent -- there were a number of small problems with the room (electrical outlets and safe not working and clock set to wrong time (could not be adjusted). For each problem, they sent someone immediately who fixed the problem quickly (reset breaker, replaced safe battery, reset clock). I didn't bother getting the bidet control panel fixed since I could use the basic functions.

I would definitely stay in this property again -- the location was incredibly convenient to the MRT, and it was just a beautiful place to stay!

Was expecting more based on the listing - unfortunately was let down by the front line service and that the fit out of the property.

We had a pretty confusing check in, being told to go up to the 11th floor, having to wait for about 20 mins to get checked in (despite being the only ones there). Management did a good job once they were made aware and made up for it, which we were very appreciative for.

The property itself felt fatigued unfortunately. Excess perfume was used on floor 10 as soon as you got to the elevators, which was very overpowering.

The room, whilst spacious - our second night had a constant noise (that sounded like muffled voices) throughout the night which meant that we weren't very rested.

It's unfortunately, as the team genuinely seemed to want to make the stay feel nice, just feels like a misstep in the overall experience.

Although the property is a bit vintage, the staff makes up in service. During our stay, we had an initial issue with the air conditioner and a desk lamp. After contacting service on several occasions, the problem continued. However after contacting the manager Ms. Valerie, she went out of her ways to solve to the problem by offering to upgrade to a better room. I would like to thanks her solving the issue. Kudos to her for her involvement.

It’s very convenient as there’s 7-11 downstairs and also a bus station right outside the hotel. And opposite of it there’s a food court so there’s plenty of food selections. Just cross the road and there’s also some museums and churches which also added extra points for its convenience!
