The most all inclusive resort we have visited. The watersports and some excursions are included which makes this resort stand out. The services and food are very good. The dinning food was exceptional. The only negatives would be the internet coverage. It was spotty at best. Also, I requested minibar service three times and never received.

Clean rooms, friendly staff but the food is lacking quality and variety. The pool and most amenities close at 5pm so the evenings are fairly boring. The bar by the buffet closed at 10pm. Had to leave property to enjoy many of the amenities. The one thing that may stop me from coming back is the hotels support for the Calypso rafting company this place is horrible!! They have puppies and kitties there that are starving and have very bad eye infections and sores on their bodies! I will not support any company that allows any animals to suffer needlessly!

Every staff member goes above and beyond to make your experience Wonderful!! The food was great at all the restaurants, they need to have more original Jamaican food on the menu, i didnt come to Jamaica to eat Asian food, why not have the Bayside Restaurant be authentic local flavor and vibe. The resort, watersports, pools, bars and ocean beach area was sparkling clean.

Evening entertainment was highly disappointing. They had a Reggea/Caribbean dance party and the DJ was playing Vanilla Ice and Bruno Mars, um NO!! We left after 20 mins. Sing along, restuarant music was John Denver and Hank Williams, country!! Um NO!!! Again, left America and came to Jamaica. Please put some authenticity into your resort activities!!

Room was ok. When we got there we were handed a room key in an envelope and then a lady came and took it back and sent us to a different room 5207. We didn’t care for the room since we could hear the cars all night. We asked to stay over on the other side of the resort where we had stayed three years ago and she said we cannot. Staff was very nice. Food was ok.

The best vacation I’ve had in years. Couples staff takes care of everything from the welcome right at the bus, to the way they get to know the guests. The room was clean and the amenities were unparalleled. I would recommend Couples resort to anyone who would here. Truly a magical experience.

The entire facility needs a major upgrade. It is old and dated. The carpets were stained. The food was marginal. The service was excellent, except the bartending at the piano bar. Our room had odor, the stool dripped constantly, it took two days to get a working safe, housekeeping came as early as 8:04 AM Sunday. Do not expect great accomodations, just a laid back environment.

First, the positives. The staff with the exception of the Piano Bar was outstanding, and service oriented, despite the no tipping policy.
The Island presented a secluded environment where everyone was exceedingly friendly. The lunches that were delivered were of dubious quality and quantity. lf you weren't in line quickly, you were out of luck.
This hotel is definitely due for a major upgrade almost everywhere. The carpeting was aged and stained. Our safe was out of order and after two days a replacement was placed, unsecured on a shelf. Our toilet dripped constantly. The shower had mold. The television was missing all major networks months after the hurricane took out options. Missing the NFL playoff games was a bummer. Housekeeping came early, even knocking at 8:04 AM on Sunday. Nightly entertainment was sparse and There was little to do after 8PM except drink at a bar.
If you are looking for a low key, no frills accomodation, this is the place for you.
Do not expect the amenities to match the common luxury options you may have experienced at other locations.

Everything from beginning to end was just off. Property is more out of a James Bone movie from the 70s than what the pictures show. Arrival had us going to a room that was stocked for another couple having an anniversary, not what we had requested. We did a couples massage and my girlfriend's masseuse gave her one of the worst massages she ever got. Mine wasn't great by any means but at least ok, just not worth the price. The weather was mostly sunny with some intermittent water turbulence but they never opened up to do any water activities that were supposed to be included in the stay. The jacuzzis throughout were low and cool water with poor or no jets. Food was barely available 24/7 as advertised. All the restaurants were pretty much the same food even though they were marketed as being different and unique. Beyond the jerk food mostly everything else was bland and had little flavour or proper cooking. The evenings meals were obvious leftovers included in breakfast & lunches the following day. Fresh, good drinking water was hard to come by until we found a 5 gallon dispenser of good drinkable water in the workout room to refill containers and have on us. A soda dispensing machine at the poolside restaurant was out of order for most of our 5 days. No alternative was offered to fill its place. Bars did not have experienced bartenders and no ingredients for drinks on their menu. Everthing that could be lacking pretty much was. Do not recommend.

This is our second time there and we returned for a reason. The staff is so welcoming from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, they are the friendliest and most helpful staff we have ever come across at a resort. This is a nice,older, property with an outstanding staff and excellent food. The spa services were excellent as well.
We stayed in the signature spa villa 6004 which included unlimited spa visits. The staff at the spa, especially Krystal, were super nice and helpful.The bed in the villa was amazing as was the pool.
The bad: facilities are a bit run down and can use some paint and some TLC for sure. This place is right along the road at a busy intersection and is very loud with traffic noise 14 hrs per day. You can clearly see the intersection red light from the open air lobby, yes its that close to the main road. Not very relaxing and annoying to say the least. Thank goodness we brought a sound machine to try to drown out the noise to get some sleep, but at full volume, we were still woken up numerous times by jake brakes and airhorns. We also experienced no hot water in our villa for about a day, but was quickly corrected by staff. Our AC unit had a mind of it own and was very loud and squeaky. It worked when it it wanted to and would go from 68 to 84 degrees randomly, so you never knew what you were walking into.
The food and service was excellent as were the bar tenders.
If you are hard of hearing, I think this would be the perfect place for a great Jamaican vacation!

It is a very clean resort. The food options are very limited. There is no dinner buffet or lunch buffet. You typically have about three things to choose from on the lunch menu for entrees. The beach was well maintained and had plenty of chairs. It was a nice resort for an older one. It is located on a busy road so you do hear traffic and engine brakes all day long at the pool. We enjoyed our stay but I would most likely find a different resort based off of the food options.

The food at Couples during our stay was fantastic! The rooms are very clean and the property is small and easy to get around. Water sports are great-Michael our sailing instructor was wonderful!

The entertainment was so - so but the entertainment staff work really hard to get people involved in activities during the day and evening.

They were working on the main bar when we arrived and drinks were painfully slow to get at dinner. In fact it was better to bring our own to the restaurants. Hopefully this gets better now that the main bar reopened on our last night.

I have been to this resort three times previously, all 10/10 visits. This visit was 1/10. I wrote a letter about everything that happens to couples after the conclusion of our stay. I did not receive a response. We will not be returning a fifth time to this resort, sadly.A simple response from the hotel would have gone a long way. Them fixing the issues would have gone a long way. But we never received that courtesy. Here is what went wrong, and the manager refused to fix. 1.We were given the wrong room. After telling them we knew the room was a downgrade, they offered the difference of the two rooms in the form of a refund, $125 a night plus tax. We agreed. Four days into the trip we received not even half of what was promised as a discount. After contacting Expedia, and a lengthy conversation with their manager we were told by both places that the other person has to refund the amount. I believe expedia since we were already lied to by couples 2.They lost our rewards info, this was our 4th visit, and 17th day visiting in the last four years. We received no romance rewards. 3.We did not have air conditioning 6/8 days. Everyday we were told someone would look at it and no one did. The sixth day they offered to move rooms and so we experienced two downgrades in one visit. 4 No one informed us there would be loud construction on the bar. Others had received the option to change their trip dates. Not us

The beach here was amazing. It has soft white sand and no real risk of stepping in sharp rocks in the swim area. (One side of the beach was all rock, but the main swim area was great!)

Evening restaurants were fabulous. I'm not a foodie and I have a limited taste for what I like, but I didn't have a single dinner that wasn't above expectations. Breakfast and lunch options, though, left much to be desired and the quality available at those times was hit or miss.

The resort and beach were beautiful. Staff were extra friendly and so much fun! The food and drinks were great and they had many drink options. My boyfriend and I’s first time at this hotel and it was a 10/10 experience. We had our own transportation to the hotel but everything after check-in was great. Check-in was easy and fast. The rooms were clean and tidy with a great pool/ocean view, iron, safe, water, mini bar, coffee/tea section, and a big bathroom. The workers were very nice and always greeted us with a smile. There were a lot of activities ranging from water sports, karaoke, sing-alongs, pool activities, jewelry making/tie dye classes, etc. The food was good, fast service, and the bar was good. Sometimes the drinks weren’t as strong and tasted more like just juice but not complaining. Overall, would definitely recommend Couples Tower Isle to everyone! One love

But the carpets were gross, there was a pervasive smell of bananas everywhere, the doors were dirty, the mirrored elevators were full of fingerprints. The food was a 6 at best. Pros:
-The staff are kind and willing to help you with anything you need. The service was my favorite part of my stay at Couples Tower Isle.
-The amenities they offer around the property are nice as well such as transportation, room service, the beach, spa, pools, jacuzzis, etc.
-The private island is gorgeous. I went for a private island dinner for my birthday and they made sure I was taken care of.
-Bartenders make good drinks!

Cons:
-I wasn't too pleased with the room. Although I had a great waterfront view, there were ants and a roach in my room during my stay. There also wasn't a door on the shower. It might've been the design, it just wasn't my favorite.
-The food was good but not the best. I would've preferred a mix of American and Jamaican food, but there was mostly American food. The night they did have Jamaican food, it was delicious.
-The shuttles are reliable, but you must book a driver through them to travel outside of the resort. Ubers aren't allowed. The same goes for the shopping center. They take you to 3 stores, but no other local places.
-The demographic is mostly older couples. My partner and I are a couple in our early thirties, and we were one of the youngest couples there. This is also probably why the nightlife isn't the best on the resort.

The commute to and from MJB is BRUTAL...When I booked the room I paid for the upgraded most expensive room because it was my wife's 40th birthday. It claimed to be a walk-out suite facing the Sea...instead it was a room overlooking the drive-up area/Parking lot on the 4th floor. Basically no beverages in the room fridge, when I reguested 6 Red Stripe an hour later they brought up the Red Stripe and they were 90 degrees. When we went downstairs and requested a bottle of Vodka for the room or some Rum they said they had NO clear Liquor on the property on Saturday July 5th my wifes birthday. Fortunately after my was in tears a Manager showed up and sat down and had food brought to our table and ate dinner with us and by the end of dinner had a bottle of Vodka delivered to the table for us to take to the room. Lamar was a ROCK STAR and saved the moment!!! The remainder of our trip was uneventful and the food was AMAZING during our stay. The return trip to the airport was BRUTAL!!! The driver's were driving like LUNATICS at 70 MPH 2 inches from the vehicles in front of us. Fortunately we made it safely to and from the resort

Got married here and had the most amazing wedding. The wedding staff via emails and on site are the absolute best! They did everything they could to help me (limited mobility), and to help make sure it was the best wedding. We had a violinist and it was truly magical. We aksobdid a private twilight cruise and it wasnt as expensive as you might think and it was worth every penny! The staff was so much fun and very informative. Again, they helped us make sure we had the best time possible.

I'm in a wheelchair and have a lot of pain, so I couldn't do a lot of activities. The property is better than its sister sites, but still isnt super handicap friendly. There is no way to get down to the beach except by stairs. So I only made it down the once to get married. Everything else was able to be reached by ramp.

The shuttle was 2 hours from Montego Bay. So make sure to plan accordingly. They have their own shuttle, which is great. They do have a \"lounge\" in the airport when you arrive... its just a room with chairs. The snacks were some trail mix granola bars and salty banana chips. But its just whwre you wait for the shuttle.

Overall it was an amazing trip and if I would recommend it to anyone eloping or on their honeymoon!

Our second trip to Couples Tower Isle. Was there is 2003 and went back for our 25th wedding anniversary. Great, great entertainment. There was something different every night and winding down in the sing-a-long piano lounge capped off each night with a few chocolate martinis. There was a nice card congratulating us on our anniversary with a bottle of champagne. I did have an allergic reaction to something, but that’s on me not knowing what caused it because I was eating a lot. I didn’t try anything out of the ordinary, but all it takes is one bite. We stayed 5 nights, and only left the resort once for a bamboo raft tour. You will enjoy the entertainment, food, and people. Oh by the way couples has a lounge at the airport while you wait for your transport to the resort, so you can relax and grab a beer, water, or soda. Yea mon!

The staff was friendly but the excursion ppl told us we would go on a twilight package and they were one hour late so the 3 hour excursion turned to two hours and no buffet and drinks as promised and no shopping either it felt rushed. They charged us $600 for our group.The resort does not include unlimited massages and the excursions included are limited. The restaurant experience was not the best it took us 2 hours to get our food, reservations were at 7:45 and we didn’t get our food til 10:00. The rooms were outdated but clean and staff were friendly.

Beautiful property right on the beach. Only downfall was the whole resort closed down at 11pm. If you want to rest and chill its perfect.

Upon arrival the staff were overtly pleasant and accommodating - truly making guests feel welcome and cared-for. Dining were excellent, every meal was at least “good” or better. We realized the best tips came from conversations with other guests who perhaps a day or three earlier learned a different part of the all-inclusive way to do it. To note if traveling to Jamaica in June: wind and/or weather WILL cause outings to be cancelled. Learn to pivot, play a game at the pool, and try something new from the bar. The property is clearly older, but has a certain bygone era charm.

We enjoyed our stay at Couple Tower Isle, lovey, well kept property. Great food, and exceptional service. Pools a
& beach never out of lounge or seating. Loved the ambiance.
2 areas of improvements - property needs more signage, eg. no signs noticed at restaurants and spa area, Also Entertainment Team could get the guests involved in daily activities..games etc.

Our oceanfront room view was amazing. We were on the 5th floor which we loved except that our elevator was broken. The first several days was ok because we were able to get to the 4th floor by elevator and only walk one flight of stairs but the last day we had to walk all 5 flights. We loved all the included excursions. We did the snorkeling, catamaran cruise and glass bottom boat. I would have loved to do the scuba diving but we didn’t this time around. The staff was very nice, welcoming and made you feel well cared for and accommodated. The coffee shop was good. We enjoyed our frappe made just the way we liked it. The restaurants were good but 2 of them closed each night leaving only 2 other options and 2 require reservations and have a formal dress code enforced. Also, the buffet was made into a partial service at night meaning you got your own soup, salad and dessert and then order from the menu for the entree and sides. Our mini bar was not stocked when we got there. We informed them and later that evening it was still not stocked. The next day they stocked it but not with the items (juices and sodas) we requested. Overall, the stay was great and we love the staff, inclusive amenities, and the quietness of the adult only resort. We would stay again if we are able to come without kids. One other thing, make sure you keep your key away from your phone because twice ours stopped working after walking and climbing all the stairs.

This was our first all inclusive vacation. It far exceeded our expectations. We loved access to all the watersports, entertainment, attention to detail and most importantly friendliness of your staff. We felt welcomed by everyone. It was an amazing experience! We will be back!
