Rooms were lovely, breakfast was good, pool was very nice, beach was beautiful, lovely sand, clear water in the sea, however the restaurant on the beach was shocking, service really bad, infact was laughable it was that bad, very expensive, £50 for a bottle of cheap wine, so we ate on the road the next two nights for next to nothing and was so nice to put some money in the pockets of the locals. Would not return and would not recommend. A real shame.

Wow, this place was amazing, from the time we opened the front doors ,to the walk through our garden, the pool, the terrace and inside the place was immaculate, bed massive, wood carvings beautiful, good shower, positioned on the beach so to sit and have evening meal was very romantic, food great,quiet area so a chilled out stay, staff all very helpful, good variety on breakfast.

Absolutley loved our stay. Staff are very attentive, they will look after you and help with anything. The room itself is stunning, even better on an evening. Its 15 minutes walk to the beach and night market, or a free shuttle to the beach. Nice quiet resort where you can simply relax. I would absolutley recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Kata.

The room is absolutely beautiful & the hotel is kept very nice beautiful plants in the grounds etc.

Unfortunately the restaurant staff in this hotel let it down. It feels very impersonal with the tablet ordering system, it’s very hard to see in the dark & it isn’t explained very well. Also they don’t give you time to look through the menu & seem to stand over you, which makes you feel like you have to rush to decide.

Breakfast is a let down, staff not attentive, have to ask for table to be set up & then ask again to have a tablet to order an omelet.

Dinner staff made us feel rushed & then after ordering we were told we couldn’t have what we had ordered & could only order pizza as the hotel BBQ was available. Then our main courses arrived that we had originally ordered but no starters. So had to then cancel the pizza. There was a show on that evening & missed most of it because I was to busy trying to order food.

Finally as beautiful as the terrace & plunge pool was in our room, we did not make use of this as trees around it totally blocked out the sun. So we had to go to the beach. We booked hotel this because of the private terrace.

This was an absolutely incredible stay and a perfect place for us to get engaged.

It feels quite like the resort in The White Lotus, but without any of the bad or weird bits!

Beautiful garden villa room with private pool, amazing facilities, lovely central pool overlooking the beach, you can wander straight onto the beach where the sea is so warm, really great breakfast and dinners, excellent spa - I could go on and on.

Also, the staff are all the most hospitable people, but special shout outs to Palm who sorted lots of things for us during our stay, including our private beach dinner, and Kent who looked after us during the dinner.

If you are considering this for your holiday - stop considering it and just book it right away.

The hotel decor was very unique with teak wood decor.
The 2 bedroom villa was a great size and the front desk staff were friendly and helped me book james bond island tour.

Why i rated the store average is because my room was full of ants. They came to remove it but just out spray and that was about it. No room change or anything offered. One of the beds wasnt changed and was obvious so house cleaning came to change it but had attitude.

The restaurant was the biggest joke. The staff are not experienced. Food was average at best and you are waiting for over an hour for food and they dont all come together and is cold.

They get peoples order wrong and also i noticed every table had something wrong. My advice will be to reduce the menu offer so that they can make few things but great things. In my 17 days in thailand this was the worst food i had.

This is an absolutely stunning hotel, with great staff. We came here for a couple of days rest after a busy 8 days in mainland Phuket & it was a perfect choice. Not much in the surrounding area, hence the slightly lower score for area around the property, but we didn’t want or need this as had already experienced this element. Great hotel.

Its incredible value for money, large and attractive pool villas on a quiet beach.
Might not have some of the polish in service of big brand 5 star, but has a local Thai charm.
The staff are warmest, from Reception to Restaurant to Housekeeping.

Not much nearby, so lock yourself in for a few days of chill or day trips in PhangNga.

Most unique property we have ever stayed at in Phang Nga. Simply gorgeous, classic Thai architecture and the villas were generously sized with plunge pools. The people and service were absolutely lovely. The entire experience was very warm. We will definitely stay here again, however, will endeavor to visit next time in the non rainy season. Relaxing hotel with great service

Lovely hotel with great service and very friendly staff. The whole resort is beautiful traditional Thai wooden building, rooms are decorated very nicely with great facilities. Restaurant food was very good, although a little expensive, but perhaps to be expected with 5 star hotel. Would have like to see printed menus rather than everything on an iPad. Hotel should also consider a happy hour arrangement late afternoon or early evening. Also some leisure options such as pool table or table tennis would offer something to do. Overall a great place to relax

Amazing place, amazing beach and even more amazing staff who couldn’t do enough for you! Every department were great! Thank you for making it so relaxing. The only downside if you want to call it that is that if you want to go off residence, then anything is at least 30 mins by taxi. However they are cheap and it didn’t matter.

A Peaceful Sanctuary

A quiet, beautiful resort with an amazing private beach! Soft sand, no jellyfish, no seaweed and clear blue water. The rooms are spacious, beds super comfy and the private pool villa was amazing. Staff were exceptional, food was delicious and the spa was blissful! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful sanctuary away from all the hustle and bustle.

Staying at this facility is like staying at a Thai palace. Everywhere to be found are gorgeous details (the woodwork alone is fantastic). No comfort is overlooked (the bed was massive, the private pool clean and beautiful). The beach was restful and gorgeous and the staff was warm and welcoming in every way. Truly excellent

Extremely spacious villa with a very large private swimming pool. Beach is right next to restaurant, sandy and not crowded. Service was impeccable and fully representative of the extraordinary hospitable values Thai culture beholds. Suri from reception was exceptional throughout. Lek from Spa is one of the best masseuse I have come across in Thailand. We will be recommending this place to other close family and friends.

The hotel itself and the garden villa with pool is stunning. Perfect location on a quiet beach. Hotel transfer excellent service. Check in and out easy. Welcome drink as very cheap apply juice. The staff were helpful in suggesting day trips. I do not feel this is a 5 star hotel however. The food quality is very average and disappointing. The Chinese dim sum was the best selection at breakfast. The meat quality was very poor. Over cooked salmon at dinner time. Fruit and vegetables at breakfast/lunch/dinner were good but small selection. Cheap juice from concentrate at breakfast.The wine selection is limited and very poor selection of what is available. A bottle of Veuve Clicquot is almost £200 which is exponentially expensive. Cocktails were expensive for the size.
Construction throughout the day was not what you expect at a relaxing 5 star resort. Why does the grass need to be cut at 1pm by the pool area disturbing the peace and quiet? Also construction near the rooms started at 8am. When I requested that the workmen not work near my villa while I was making use of the outdoor bath tub, this request was ignored and the workmen could see into my private garden area from the work they were doing on a higher balcony.
Inside the room was very clean but the garden and pool and bath tub area neglected in cleaning. The glass sliding doors were very dirty.
Bottled water every day was nice. Mini bar selection good. The hotel offer mosquito spray repellent to guests complimentary.

Stayed at the hotel for a week March 2022. The rooms we had were really nice and authentic Thailand. Staff were very friendly and helpful, the reception staff were always available to answer any questions and the restaurant staff especially Kent, Mim and Honey were very helpful too.
The swimming pool is large but unfortunately not very clean we had to ask reception if they could get it cleaned which they did but it was just a pity we had to ask and it wasn’t much cleaner after the cleaners had departed.
The hotel is very remote and the cost of a taxi if you wanted to go say into Phuket town was quite expensive and added up if you wanted some kind of entertainment at night.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights for a chance to relax and unwind. The room and outdoor area including the private pool were beautiful and exactly as we expected. The Thai style was a nice touch. The staff were friendly. Watching the sunset from the beach was an amazing experience as it was very private and only a few people close by. Would definitely recommend stopping by a Seven Eleven on your way to the hotel as we did to buy snacks, water etc as there is nothing close by. Would recommend buying beer down the street from the small roadside restaurant as beer was 60 Thai Baht for a small bottle compared to the high price in the minibar.

Very limited options for food nearby. Due to this, we decided to eat at the hotel. We were both very disappointed with the food. We would take off 1-1.5 stars for this. The quality of food was below average and the options on the restaurant menu were very limited and not up to par for a hotel of this caliber. It was obvious that the food was not all fresh. It's one thing if the price matches the quality of food being offered. However, in this case; the food was below average and the prices were astronomical for what was offered. The free breakfast was also very average compared to other hotels we stayed at in Thailand that were much much cheaper.

Besides the quality of the food, everything else was exceptional and we both enjoyed our time here.

Das Personal ist sehr bemüht und die Anlage ist sehr schön. Einiges scheint etwas in die Jahre gekommen zu sein (Wasserdruck teilweise sehr schwach oder kein Wasser). Man sollte sich auch bewusst sein, dass die Anlage im Nirgendwo liegt und fußläufig nicht viel zu unternehmen ist.

Das Resort ist wunderschön angelegt, aber leider
ist vieles renovierungsbedürftig. Auch damit könnte man noch gut auskommen. Wirklich schlecht ist allerdings der Service im Hotel. Mit 5 Sterne hat das absolut (außer die Preise) nichts zu tun. Maximal 3 Sterne Niveau. Sehr schade aber unsere Vorstellungen an das Resort wurden bei weitem nicht erfüllt.

Santhiya is a beautiful resort located at a stunning beach. Unfortunately, the service at the hotel restaurants does not live up to the 5 star standard. Staff is very friendly, but not trained to deliver the service one would expect at such a resort. A small example: We stayed at santhiya for five days with our 4 year old and 8 month baby, and for all over meals, we had to ask for a baby chair ourselves.

Staff is constantly on their phones, which is very strange. It’s clear that they have to document everything because they even take pictures if they’re emptying a trash can or when tables are set ready for dinner service.

For one of the dinners, our food arrived 1,5 hrs after ordering. Lots of tables had delays and people were furious. We ended up complaining to management, and they handled it very professionally sincerely apologizing and refunded our bill, which was a nice gesture.

The kids club is really bad. It’s filled with broken plastic toys that are just tossed in boxes. I litterally think everything is broken there and it’s so messy. It needs a compete reset.

For both the gym and the kids club, guests have to turn on air condition upon arrival. The rooms are +30 degrees hot, so it takes some time to cool them comfortably for kids to play and parents to work out. Again, this does not feel 5 star

Virkelig et flot sted, med en venligt personale. Der er styr på værelse og alt er gennemført i flot
Thai stil. Kan anbefales til dem der vil have en rolig ferie eller nogle rolige dage. Der sker ikke så meget i området, men stranden er virkelig lækker og meget badevenlig. Der kunne godt være en adskilt strandbar væk fra restauranten. Musikken var også lidt høj i selve restauranten.
