Patios were not cleaned but still very enjoyable. All staff was kind, but the check in staff at the front desk were a bit rude. Kindness and a smile go a long way! That's what we appreciated about the cleaning and bar staff. We overall loved our stay and will be back🙏

It’s hard to get around since grab does not work in the area. Breakfast was okay. A lot of people and kids so if you want a relaxing couple trip, would not recommend. Literally saw a kid do number two right outside the pool. Our sheets had stains on them which I understand it’s still washed but still uncomfortable seeing. The bed was uncomfortable. Staff was really nice and beautiful pool and beach!

The Hotel is an amazing oasis from Phuket while being nearby. The staff is exceptional and I have to give big credit to Mo (her name is similar to watermelon in Thai) she helped me organize a photographer for my proposal under short notice and she was a charm in making sure everything went according to plan. I’m over the moon with my experience at Natai Beach Resort. Thank you to all the staff.

We had an excellent stay here, we even extended another night.
The restaurant is not cheap but also not expensive considering this is a 5 star resort.
Personally I'd pay more and not take the basic beach room.
The beach is 10/10 for clear water, white sand etc. Maybe boring for singles wishing to connect with other travellers, but great for families.
The resort supplies plenty towels, water gear like SUP and canoes.
Will likely visit again

The hotel was really good. The location is excellent! it's very quiet, and also has a couple (literally a couple) of restaurants in the beach so you can eat at the hotel, and also venture around for something different.
The breakfast was really nice, very good Asian options besides the usual buffet breakfast.
Staff were very nice and helpful.
I will def come back!

Great location. Staff was exceptional. 2 restaurants but only ate at one of them. Food was really good. Great options. Nice breakfast buffet. Common areas of property were were in good shape. Pool and beachfront area were very nice! Downside was that the rooms were very dated. We were comfortable but not the rooms of a high end resort. Overall, we very much enjoyed the stay!

All the staff were very helpful and friendly, peaceful by the beach and plenty of sun loungers available. Activities offered too, I did the yoga which was very enjoyable. Food was an interesting ensemble at the Christmas party but what I had was good. I was in one of the beach houses which had probably seen better days but still nice and clean, I'd definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay and the beach and pool are so beautiful and quiet. Best sunsets! We were not traveling with children, but this appears to be a very fun place for kids (therefore their parents too). They have a lot of activities throughout the day for kids and adults, but it also has a chill vibe if you just want to read by the beach. There is only one bar, and it is a swim up bar that closes at 18:30, so this was a bit awkward and could be improved. My biggest disappintment is that the restaurant and bar both refused to fill our reusable bottles when we asked. We try to avoid single use plastic water bottles because of their impact on the oceans. We hope the hotel will add filtered water dispensers in the pool and lobby so that guests have the option to refill their own bottle.

Staff in the restaurant were very attentative, including the cleaning staff, grounds staff and drivers. Rooms were good size and the beach is really special.
The main menus were not very exciting for the prices (room service menu better than restaurant menu). With little options to chose from - it helps to know nearby options (by car).
Reception staff were quite passive.

Beautiful, quiet, secluded beach resort hotel

Very nice quiet resort hotel with huge pool and perfect sandy beach. Super-friendly staff and very well managed. Decent breakfast, local seafood restaurant along the beach (100 yards) and save your money for Aulis Phuket next door, a Michelin-class chef’s table restaurant experience that will beat anything in the whole of South-east Asia, run by Simon Rogen and serving Thai farm-to-table ingredients from exclusive Thai suppliers with UK culinary excellence. ( It’s beyond special). Hotel is a long way from the action in Patong or Phuket so don’t stay here if that’s what you’re looking for. But for a quiet, more exclusive stay in Phang Nga, this is a great choice. Sun sets over the beach as it’s on the Andaman coast directly west facing.

Unfortunately the beach villas are very old and rundown. The need to be renewed urgently. They forgot to make up our room on day and when we asked to make it up in the evening they said ok but they didn’t do it. Beside this the staff is very nice.

My fiancé and I absolutely loved our room with our own private pool. The whole resort was kept well and all staff we encountered were very friendly. The dining was also excellent. The only downside was we only got to stay for 1 night because we had to get back to work. Will definitely be coming back here for an extended stay

We booked one of the beach houses and it was nothing like the pictures. The beach houses are like rows of mobile homes and inside was musty and damp. We requested a change immediately and thankfully they changed us to a garden terrace room. The garden terrace room was lovely and staff were kind and went out of their way to move us.
The pool area was lovely and meals at the restaurant were excellent. The hotel is isolated and there are really no other dining options.

Most importantly, the resort itself is beautiful and the beaches are gorgeous. Highly recommend if you are going to stay on the resort for majority of your stay. This is a more laid back part of Phuket with less traffic.

If you want to explore, this place is FAR AWAY from everything. The resort only offers a shuttle into town 3x a week. I’d recommend grocery shopping for snacks and such to bring back in town. Go on a Monday so you can take advantage of their local night market.

The resort itself offers INCREDIBLY overpriced dining. Walk along the beach to a local spot for true Thai food at the costs you’d anticipate for Thailand.

Outside of the location of the resort, the amenities are sparse. The TV has only a few channels and though it’s a smart TV, it’s not equipped for you to link your streaming accounts. Only in room water is free, so bring your water bottle with you if you dine in an on site restaurant to avoid the added charge. Also, they seemed to be out of many liquor options - again go to town and buy the liquor you want, make your own drinks.

The room is beautiful. Nice, firm, large bed. Soaking tub. Good size shower. Awesome bidet. We got the pool room and we took advantage of the pool after hours - it’s not heated.

Would I come back here? If I was looking to stay and relax, yes. To enjoy more of a Phuket, I’d choose a closer location to more off site amenities.

A nice place to stay, beautiful sandy beach with 3 rock area's just off the shore but perfectly swimable between them, not a concern. Open area so pool gets some wind blown debris in the pool along with some sand but is still very nice, great size and pool bar easily accessible. Property is large and was quiet. Nice for a romantic stay.

I loved the location to be alone. It was very quiet and empty and the beach is incredible. Sunsets were fabulous! I was a little surprised that the staff did not speak much English - they could get by but because of the language barrier I double checked two reservations and both were not made. This was important and I caught it in time. If u want mixed drinks, don’t. Not good w then and wine was over priced. However I loved the yoga and Mui thai fitness classes I took. No one else did so they were one on one w the great instructor. Overall incredible place to get away and be alone. Breakfast buffet was Very Nice!

The beach view from the window of the hotel room is only so-so, mostly blocked by the trees and landscaping around the pool, which is nice. The hotel is well designed with a Thai Buddhist theme in the lobby and modern standard hotel rooms. There was a bit of a smell in the room when we arrived but it may have just been the cleaning chemicals in preparation for us as it seemed to go away after the room aired out. The area is majority muslim so it wasn’t difficult for us to find halal restaurants but the hotel is far from everything but the beach so be prepared to spend a significant amount on and time arranging taxis compared to hotels on Phuket. Only hotel subsidized transportation is to/from the airport every other day. Concierge was helpful in finding informal driver Nikki to take us to local pier to visit James Bond Island and Koh Panyee for 1500 Baht round trip plus 3500 to rent a boat with pilot for a day. But the 1700 one way trip to Phuket Town felt more expensive.

Overall I think this hotel is mainly for those who could use the pool and quiet beautiful beach much more than we did and don’t plan on going many other places.

This is a very tired resort in a beautiful location. Apart from the large pool area which is great and the adjoining beach most of the resort is in very poor condition and in many places some of the buildings would be condemned.

The local staff were friendly and helpful but the amount of maintenance required was overwhelming.

The hotel has a lot of potential, but we had many issues with this hotel from the moment we checked in. We had to wait over an hour after the check-in time for our room. When we entered the room, the telephone system in the room wasn't working, the shower door/toilet door was completely broken off and we did not receive a welcome fruit basket while all our friends did. Because of the inconvenience, they offered complimentary massages at their spa. We slept well the first night.
After we attended our friend's wedding nearby & came back to the hotel late at night, we noticed a horrible smell in our room. Our friends in the room next door also noticed the smell. It was so bad that it started to give us headaches after being in the room. We checked to see what it was in the room next to us because we had heard some drilling in the empty room during the day. We saw that they had either painted or put some kind of lacquer on the wood. We knew if we stayed there, it would be hazardous to our health.
We all requested to be moved to different rooms, and the 4 of us were moved to different rooms in the middle of the night. When we got to the new room, it smelled moldy and the lamp shade was moldy and there were stains on the couch. This was NOT nice for a \"5 star\" property where we were paying extra.
We complained to the manager and he said he would refund us for the 1 night, but when we checked out, the receptionist said we had to email Expedia for the refund.

The hotel is amazing. It has everything I needed, e. g. Sauna, Steam bath, gym, a fantastic beach and big swimming Pool. The room is huge and complete except for the TV audio which was poor and the safe deposit box which was not working. The location though is far from civilization and therefore you can’t find a place for a quick purchase of small items and massage. Its massage Service is so pricely. Food is excellent and price very reasonable. Staff are warm and accommodating.

This hotel is a disaster, despite having a last minute discount offer for our room!

When we checked into the room it was crawling with ants, including in the bed. Hotel moved us to another room but their reason for the room being so dirty and pest infested was “we are dealing with nature here.” Isn’t the rest of the world?

The overall condition is run down, it’s in need of a good wash and lick of paint to say the least. We did come off season, but it makes no excuse for everything being run down, our private villa pool not working or the staff being in general not overly enthused to be helpful

Finally, if you still want to stay here (!), save your money on the breakfast. It’s a disaster. The “warm” food options are cold, they don’t turn the heat on the trays so the food is cold. When you ask staff, this is normal. Eggs are cooked on a bbq style flat pan, which meant our fried eggs had a comfortable lick of black grease underneath. Drink options are help yourself, and I still haven’t found to this day how I get a cup of tea, despite asking twice.

We came to check this place out as an option for our wedding guests to stay in. I’m glad we did, there is no way I will be recommending it to them.

Honey Moon Stay at Natai Resort

Had a great stay for my honeymoon at Natai Beach resort and spa. The beach ceremony was memorable and dinner delicious. The attention from staff was exceptional. Room was beautiful and so was the decor. The bed was too hard and locking the sliding door was a nightmare (4 calls to the E&M dept. due to inability to lock the door). Met a group of staff members that were exceptional. Karl, Katrina, Mike, & Donna all spoke english and were extremely attentive to us during our stay. Mike took it a step further and acted as our tour guide on his days off for two days (we had lots of fun). Connor was fantastic!! Thank you so much for marrying us on the beach and coordinating all the minute details. The beach was beautiful, quiet, and extremely relaxing. Breakfast was delicious and so was the pool bar food. The entertainer was lots of fun. We celebrated Songkran, gave offerings to monks, and boxed while on top of a log in the pool (crazy hilarious and a first for me). General manager was also attentive to our needs and wedding ceremony. Thank you everyone for such a memorable experience. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a low key relaxing vacation in PARADISE. What a beautiful place. See it for yourself.

Let me start of by saying I do not understand how this is considered a 5 Star hotel it is 4 at the most just for the location. We stayed at the private houses with garden. Except it is not private you have another room attached, and there is no garden just the regular walkway between houses with some bushes and trees. There is absolutely nothing around the hotel except two little restaurants one right in the beach and another eat by the Main Street other then that there is nothing. The nearest store requires a cab ride. The hotel bones are good but it is run down. The beach and pool towels lay around all day and all night no one cleans them up, so sometimes we couldn’t find any available chairs at 8 am even though no one was probably actually using the chairs. The room it self has a mini bar which for us didn’t work at all so the juices we bought all spoiled. The AC unit faces the bed so when ur sleeping it is blowing in ur back or face and without it it’s too hot. The walls of the rooms are paper thin so you can hear everything your neighbors are doing and saying. I think this hotel needs to be run a little better the bones are there just needs better management.

Fantastic hotel but should be a 4 stars one.

I’ve been to this hotel for 8 days. I was really happy by the services in overall.
However, to me this hotel looks like more a 4 stars hotel than a 5 stars one.
The price of the restaurant is a bit expensive regarding the quality of the food.
Also, I have booked a room with swimming pool but I could not enjoy it as there was no filter for it, so it was not recommended to swim. We have called for an engineer but the person came 4 days later and did not change anything.
Otherwise, the staff was really nice, professional but need to have a better level in English. It was really complicated to make us understand with the staff, specially the driver which is really nice but he could not speak/understand English so it was complicated to explain him where we wanted to go.
In overall, I was really happy. The hotel is amazing, close to the beach. But they must find solutions to not have a humidity smell in the room.

For a 4 stars hotel, I would give a 4,5/5
But as a 5 stars one, I give a 3,5/5

Quiet and Peaceful

Had a fantastic break at Natai Resort. It has a private beach which is very scenic. Beautiful pool and decor all round. We stayed in a room with a pool. Very clean and spacious. If you are looking for a peaceful break and to avoid crowds, you cant go wrong with this.

We had small niggly little issues but the staff was always at hand to resolve them promptly. A true testiment to how well the team within the Natai resort work. The restaurants are also nice and a sea view. A tad bit pricey but very convenient. They have 24 hour room service which is also handy. Didnt use the spa facilities as places nearby are cheaper. Had a neat little gym as well which is free to use.

If we are at Phuket again, we will definately stay here again.

Honeymoon gone wrong

This was the second stop on our honeymoon. We were staying in the ocean view villa. The first day, we went to the pool to hang out and about 5 hours into our stay, our bottom floor flooded. Luckily, none of our stuff got damaged and it wasn't anyone's fault. The manager upgraded us to the Deluxe Suite, which was very nice. However, after a few hours, the AC stopped working. I kept calling and letting them know it was not working and the manager just kept saying it was being handled. Our room was running about 85-90 degrees.

Finally, at 10:45 PM, the guy on duty said they would move us to another room for the night. So, my wife and I had to move yet again. In the morning, we returned and the AC was working again. We were told to speak with the manager for some compensation. We were out on an excursion all day and when we got back, we spoke to one of the staff members. We explained everything that went on yesterday and he asked what he could do for us. We agreed to a bottle of wine and he said he would send it up right away. It took another 4 hours to get the wine. The bottle of wine cost $7.

In the morning, the manager stopped us and said he would give us 1 comp meal for our troubles, which was a little disheartening. He seemed like he was more bothered by us than what had happened to us.

After we left him, my wife was very upset so she went to speak with him again about the situation. He asked her, \"Have you ever been to Thailand\"? She replied, \"No\". He then said, \"Maybe

Fantastic, Peaceful Hotel. Amazing beach!

Extremely opulent rooms and excellent facilities. The hotel is quite private and exclusive feeling. The beach has no vendors, great. The beach was pristine and the water was quite warm. We visited in December. The hotel staff is extremely service oriented and they all have great soft skills for dealing with clients. They were all very happy and respectful. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Real attention to detail, locally sourced honey I think. This was a great touch. The juice bar was fantastic and the chefs were willing to experiment with the fruit combinations and were willing to suit personal tastes. The omelet bar was great and not too busy. Basically, this hotel is really exclusive, in a good way, so I think it's impossible for overcrowding, even during peak season. The area, Natai Beach, is extremely exclusive and beautiful. There aren't a lot of shops and restaurants in the area, so it has a real serene feeling, great. Also, the hotel's food prices were pretty reasonable given the price we paid for the room and the overall experience. Room service was great the the menu was quite comprehensive. They are not nickel and dimeing people, this is a very value oriented hotel. If you want a great bottle of wine, you can get one. I really liked how they made bathrobes and a complete set of toiletries available in the sauna/workout area, at no cost. It's the little things that count and it really makes you feel like you are on vacation when a hotel cares about the details.

Relaxing and very peaceful- What I needed

Overall, it was a great experience. The hotel was nice, and although it was monsoon season and rainy, I went to relax, and get away from everything/everyone and I was able to do exactly that. The hotel staff was awesome, very kind and helpful.

I booked a Thai cooking class which was such an incredible experience; the class includes going to the local market, the farm to pick the ingredients for your meal, then going back to cook with the chef (my chef was executive sous chef Mr. Suchart Jomsingha who was so kind, awesome, and made the experience beyond amazing and so much fun! I strongly suggest the hotel promote the class more and that people book it!

I also did an excursion which I booked through the hotel and that was also fun. I went to the mining museum, the temples, big Buddha, and various sites including the market. I got beautiful art work and to see the island which is breathtakingly beautiful. Definitely suggest that people do this as well and that the hotel promotes this more also.

The hotel is beautiful, but really not close to anything else, so be ready to buy all your meals at the hotel. They seemed to have a lot of different activities that you could sign up for, which seemed really fun, including beach games, bike rides, movie nights, etc. The only complaint that we had during our stay was that one night we came back to our room with water leaking under our door to find that the pipe under our bathroom sink had burst. The staff cleaned our room and tried to get the situation under control as quick as possible; however it took awhile. We were unable to switch rooms that night because they were booked full. So we waited about 45 minutes for our room to be cleaned. My friend's backpack had been on the floor and got wet. It took 2 days and talking to several receptionists about what went on before they offered us a complimentary dinner. I think the incident was not reported from the housekeeping to the supervisor that night, so no one knew what happened. Overall we enjoyed our stay. It was very relaxing, and definitely a 5 star resort feel/ experience.

Remote location with long sandy beach. Little to do if you don't want to just chill on the beach. Limited restaurant choice and food okay, better to walk to a local restaurant 500m on the beach for more authentic Thai cooking.

Beach is fantastic and very few people on it, could do with some more sun shades as only shade is provided by a few trees.

Spoilt a little bit by chinese tours staying overnight

Bad experience...

Several unfortunate incidents...

1. The resort is NOT anymore NATAI Beach Resort and Spa. It is MaiKhao Dreams. OTAs still carry Natai Beach. Very difficult to find in the night.
2. Rooms near the beach available but not given to us saying they were fully occupied.
3. 14th dinner at their flagship restaurant (championed by a Celebrated Chef) was a total disappointment. Chicken breast was bone dry, tuna tartar smelled like two days old and the cheese ravioli still had the freezer burn taste with the cheese still frozen inside.
4. On top of all this, no one cared. No call from neither the duty manager nor the F&B manager and the Chef did not even care to apologize.

The location and the setting is quiet and peaceful and close enough to the airport to be convenient. Generally a good place for the price. Food not particularly good, service slow and not responsive unless you are a VIP group of Russians or Chinese. As an American, I was treated as far less important.

Very nice clean quiet Beach and Pool area

This hotel has wonderful potential but the lack of attention to detail and cheapness was very disappointing. From the Rock hard bed (wasn't even a single mattress) , sealed concrete floors, thin towels to the homemade chairs and plumbing it is clear the owners had no intention of building a quality resort. At times during the day there was no hot water and even when there was it would go hot and cold. The whirlpool on the terrace was a major disappointment, took about an hour to fill and made some bubbles on the side, not a whirpool/jacuzzi, just a noisy 2 person bath tub, also home made. The Internet is a disaster, at best works for an hour, but mostly every few minutes it stops completely for 2-10 minutes or longer. They quickly changed the router which didn't really help. We stopped complaining. The beach is very nice and unusually quiet. There is a very good Thai restaurant on the beach 300 meters north of hotel. The location is very remote so unless you want to relax by the pool or beach all day book on Phuket Island itself. The restaurants were a disappointment at the hotel. Staff were very nice and as helpful as they could be especially reception. Breakfast was a huge disappointment except for omelette/egg station. Food was not hot, they often ran out of items, didn't even have muesli when most of the guests are european. It was clear no F&B manager was not focussing on quality at all. The breakfast sausages are hot dogs the bacon unsmoked and strange.

Pool was dirty ( main pool and the one infront of the room) . The first 2 hours after check in we had engeneering and housekeeping fix the problems.private pool the whirlpool didn't work, the light didn't work in the pool (never got fixed). The light on the patio didn't work. The sunumbrella had no cover. The TV didn't work.The bedsheets never got changed in 5 days and where torn, same as the curtain.We had to tell them to remove the used towels at the pool. No guests and all chairs where fool of them. You where lucky when someone was at the pool bar. The hotel is understaffed and miss managed.
The only positive was the always smiling and friendly staff.

Love the beach house!

My husband & I stayed there for 3 nights and did not go anywhere during these days. We both enjoyed it very much and will definitely go back there.

We stayed at a beach house and could have rated \"excellent\" for this place. Just a few things changed our mind.

It would be great to have an indoor bath tub.
It would be great to have a better mattress.
It would be great to have beach lounger on the rooftop.
The rooftop spa tub could be cleaner (maybe to place a scrub there for guests' self use when necessary).
The spa could be cheaper.

Maikhao Dream Resort & Spa

The hotel was very pleasing on arrival, the staff were great, very helpful and accommodating. Then the room was great. We had the room with the pool.

On the first night while walking out on the deck a rotten board was discovered and my foot nearly went through completely. Up to the time we left the board was not fixed. Hence I rarely used the pool.

There was no internet in the room.
The spa was excellent, the gym was excellent.
The main pool and pool facilities were excellent.
The beach was rough but we made use of it as we are accustomed to this in the caribbean.

Overall the hotel was great, the food and breakfast was great. The peacefulness was fabulous.
I rate this hotel very good overall.

Sea view villa facing garage

I enjoyed sea, beach and SPA. They are just great. All the rest is just terrible, the long story is below.

Check in: I arrived in hotel at 15:30 but my room was not ready. Waited 1 hr. The room we got was something different from what I expected. Instead of sea view bungalow I got a unit facing loading bay of restaurant, next to the road and placed in front of huge AC compressor housing(#538). Sea view was available from the 2nd floor terrace, but enjoying this view from the terrace is absolutely impossible due to high level of noise from AC compressors and terrible appearance and smell from restaurant service area. I changed my room to garden view unit #553 without refund of premium paid for sea view. However, next day we found that it was construction work ongoing in nearby bungalow. No comments.

Hotel management is very weak, personnel is lazy: room are missing standard supplies as bathrobes, slippers, tent in the garden and so on. No service around pool and on the beach, no lifeguard. Special feedback to the only restaurant: waiters just ignore customers, dirty tables, wrong food delivered, heavily aerated cocktails, 1.5-2 hrs to get the order while you are the only customer. It looks like the personnel is having fun instead of working. Special thanks for Valentine day party: hotel just shut down all restaurants and room service \"inviting\" everyone to the party with 60 USD p/person buffet.

Bungalow are low budget without noise insulation. Same about main buildings.

Taste the best breakfast served on the beach.

We stayed there for almost a week and without counting small misunderstanding with the length of our stay and cancelation of one unnecesary night, our time there was brilliant. Breakfast was good, they served real coffee what is not so obvious in Thailand. They had tables inside and outside (on the beach). They have 2 restaurants, which were bit pricy for us, but it is not a problem when there is a beach restaurant near by with reasonable price. Room was clean, and they had this amazing cosmetics collection. Not some random hotels shampoo, conditioner etc, but really good quality, natural cosmetics. Beach next to the hotel is clean and was almost empty for whole our stay. When you want to escape and rest in peace, than it is perfect place for you.
