Family of six (aged 11-15). The resort was beautiful. Amazing facilities, lovely staff, very comfortable large room. Best resort we have stayed in. Would love to stay again and definitely recommend. Breakfast was delicious and so much variety. The location is quite a long way from attractions but we just used a Grab to travel and it was relatively inexpensive.

Great family hotel, great bike hire, location is perfect just a quick walk to the beach or the buggy, fantastic kids club activities and wonderfully trained staff, I wouldn’t come here without children, there is only one restaurant which is quite basic, and nowhere to dress up, you need to go across the rd to the Marriott bar and it’s quite lovely, they also have a fire show there, there is zero entertainment at this resort, the cocktails at the pool bar were very old fashioned and their happy hour is a ridiculous buy two get one free, odd and silly. The resort is connect to the Anantara and I think it would have been a much better experience if we could all use the facilities of both hotel creating more dining options more pool options and overall a better experience for adults as well as the children. The staff are really excellent though and could t do more to please. The teenage retreat is so disappointing and would be better as a family recreation room where we can all play table hockey and enjoy ourselves as a family as there were never any other teenagers for my son to hang out with so he didn’t use the facilities.

Amazing customer service. We interacted with about a dozen staff members and every single one was delightful. They go above and beyond with excellent customer service. There is round the clock buggy service and the entire trip was a pleasure. The pool is 1.4m deep which was good enough for us. The big pool has occassional water polo and other obstacle courses added for kids' enjoyment. Lots of activities at the vacation club for everyone to enjoy. The massage parlor at the beach also comes to your room. There are many vegetarian options for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This place is just amazing.

Highly recommended for a true relaxation getaway experience.

Fantastic mini resort feel

Beautiful hotel, we upgraded to the supercar theme 2 bed suite for our vehicle mad children - the attention to detail with the theming is fantastic - even the ceiling fan had finish flag print all over.
5 & 8yos enjoyed some time in kids club, especially the rock climbing & cookie making - Otto and his team are so lovely with the kids.
The pool is brilliant, proper kids splash area but also big inflatable course in the main pool which we loved. The swim up bar is also fantastic, Tikky, Wave & Tam make excellent cocktails!
Breakfast variety was great, room service food was fast & fresh too.
Short walk to the beach although the hotel has buggies which will take you the 300m down there too. Tides are strong but the sand is lovely change from pool. Hotel shuttle to Phuket old town was great too.
We really enjoyed this hotel as a family

Great hotel, far from central.

Hotel is amazing. Request buggy cart to take you around to the local places (inc. beach and turtle village where other restaurants are). Breakfast provided is also decent. Western prices for dinner. There’s a 7-eleven on site. Has all you need. Great stay, just a little far from the main sights and centre of Phuket. But only 20 mins away from airport.

Completely flawless!

We stayed in a 2 bedroom Villa as a family of 4 (with young children - 18mo and 4yo) and had the most amazing holiday! The property was stunning, well-maintained, clean and had absolutely everything you could need. They had all the facilities you could want - big pool, tennis court (available at the next door Anantara), pickle ball court, bball court, boxing classes, yoga - the list goes on! The kids club and waterslide pool were a saviour and kept our kids entertained all day! The restaurants were all great and we especially enjoyed the extensive buffet breakfast every day. The property is in a great location - walking (or buggy ride!) distance to shops, beaches, massage, nails, pubs etc. The staff here were the absolute best and truly made our holiday such an incredible and unforgettable experience. We would go back in a heartbeat.

Our party of 11 people had a wonderful time at the resort. The villas were exceptional and well planned out. The beds were super comfy and the amenities were plentiful.

We enjoyed taking part in the activities and the teens all had a ball. I chose this resort to particularly cater for the 5 teenagers in our family group, and the resort did not disappoint.

The staff were amazing. Prompt and exceptional service was on offer every day.

We particularly enjoyed our in-villa bbq. Thank you to the team for looking after us.

I would certainly stay again.

Pool villa was great and convenient having a swimming pool outside our room. Two main swimming pools, one is at the other Anantara villa resort which does have some restrictions for guests staying at the vacation club. Mainly you have to use designated chairs and towels probably to make the villa guests more exclusive. But a much quieter swimming pool and view of ocean and sunset. Less family friendly atmosphere. The hotel provides transportation between the two resorts. Good beach access and next door to Marriott Hotel which has a sea turtle tank where you can feed the turtles and watch them swim in tank. Bikes available for rent but some need maintenance either with brakes, loose handle bars and seats. Almost all the ones we used had defective brakes. But worth finding one to use and ride the paths around the villa resort and on main road connecting several resorts. We visited and compared a few of the other resorts, worth taking a look at. Good breakfast buffet and wide selection. Only problem is the wait time for coffee; can be 10 or more minutes but they do ask when first seating and then you have to ask for another from staff. Good selection of fruit, Asian food, western breakfast items. One of the highlights is the kids club where kids can play and learn. Great for families and to give parents a break. It is conveniently located by the swimming pool. Plenty of swimming fun options, slides, floats, etc. For a quieter experience use the pool by the beach.

Great place to stay with a family. My kids (8 and 5) loved the kids club, the staff were so friendly and welcoming. The food choice was excellent and they catered very well for dietary requirements for my parents. We stayed in a 2 bed villa which was huge and the kids loved the galaxy bedroom. Would highly recommend.

Katong the perfect base but only with Hotel Indigo

Family trip with our three kids. Katong was the perfect base to explore Singapore again, but Hotel Indigo with its personalised attention made it that much more special. The rooms and decor in general were colourful and vibrant, facilities fantastic, and the front desk staff were absolutely amazing. The daily breakfast also wouldn’t have been the same without the attention provided by Kelly, Mary, Alex, Faizal and Nathan. Thank you for making our stay even more memorable. With three young kids we can be a demanding lot! 🙂

We totally lucked out when booking this property. We had never been to Phuket or stayed at an Anantara resort previously and it exceeded our expectations. The resort was clean and modern, the staff was fantastic and the entire resort was made for families. Our daughter is 12 and found plenty of activities and made new friends. We would highly recommend.

Other points: the bed is comfortable in the room but air conditioning is blowing straight on the bed in the kids room which makes it impossible to sleep with air conditioning on.

The fire alarm is right above the bed and blinking bright light non stop.

The Water pressure in the room is not good. You need to wait 5 min to get warm water.

Great Place for Young Kids

It's ideal for kids in the 4-10 year old range. The staff at the kids club was wonderful and the food was very good. It's not on a beach, but the 5 minute golf cart ride was nice. Getting back was a bit challenging. We stayed in the one room suite (non-villa), which was spacious and nice. A coffee machine (not a french press) would be nice.

I'd skip the timeshare pitch - it's as bad as you'd expect - although we went with an interest.

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. It was perfect for young kids (4Y and 1Y) - my older one loved the kids club and the various activities. The two bedroom apartment was very spacious, clean and comfortable and fully equipped with a kitchen, living room and two very good sized en suite bedrooms. The kids had a blast swimming in the pool everyday. The beach is very accessible and good to swim in - might be nicer if the resort had some parasols and chairs set up. Hotel breakfast was excellent with many choices. For lunch and dinner, there aren't too many options as the area is pretty remote with only limited restaurant choices outside the hotel. Staff were all extremely friendly and nice. We had no complaints about our overall experience which exceeded my expectations. Excellent stay.

Good sized room but the property facilities were disappointing. Tiny murky swimming pool for the number of rooms with some weird sand bank on the side of it which was turning green! Breakfast was disappointing, again over crowded for the number of rooms and the egg station had no quality control. Crepes/ pancake chef had clearly not been trained how to use the equipment. Staff were very friendly though.
Got tired of constantly being bombarded with time share sales - we ended up renting a car so we could spend as little time there as possible.

Perfect spot for a family with great kids options. Had a pool suite which was also great and room was well maintained. Early in the stay we had to borrow the spray and kill off the mosquitoes but short lived problem. All staff willing to help. The woodfire pizza place was a highlight in the resort.

Good: The hotel is not too big but has everything you would ask for. The room is so large and there is a full-function kitchen so you can cook anything you like. Small supermarket 2mins away from the hotel that has all the salt, rice etc. for you to pick up. Very good feature if you're traveling with kids and don't want eat in the restaurant all the time. The beach is nice and clean. Enough among of people on the beach so you don't feel lonely but also not too crowded.

Neg: Far away from the centre so not much you can do. A few similar sized hotels around that you can walk around but nothing else you can do other than laying on the beach.

Fantastic 5 Star family friendly hotel near beach.

Our family of 4 (we have 2 kids aged 3 and 5) stayed 10 nights at this property and absolutely loved it. The villas/suites were stunning with fully equipped kitchens and luxuriously decorated/furnished. The hotel F&B outlets were great and good value and the food quality high. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and is excellent, with golden sands and warm sea water (with nice waves). The hotel was very family friendly with a great pool and excellent kids club. The airport is only 20 minutes away so easy access/egress. We had fun using the free bikes and the hotel buggy service. Highly recommend this property for families with young kids.

We arrived late evening to a warm welcome had two rooms booked. We were upgraded with one of our rooms which was nice. All staff were very friendly and more than helpful. Best to organize your own taxi service as it is cheaper, you can negotiate a price with the taxi driver before leaving and if happy you can get the same taxi driver for the rest of your stay. Best to book your own sight seeing trips as well. The buffet breakfast was fantastic every morning, the pool and happy hour poolside was great and the beach was beautiful, just swim between the flags and it was safe. All in all fabulous stay.

We stayed in the hotel for 3 nighs but we arrived in the small hours for 1st day, we needed to stay in the lobby and waited till next morning after any room had vacancy. It was quite uncomfortable as the lobby was in an open area, no fan and quite hot. Also, many flies and mosquito were flying around.
Which is quite annoying.

The next 3 nights are happy moment. The room is so big, which can live for 4 people, the faciliites are all well prepared. You can even cook and wash clothes here. There is a bathtub in the bathroom, the bed is king-size. With a nice view which can see the pool and the whole resort.

One thing to be mentioned is that this hotel is far away from town center, it takes 1 hour for one way trip, and the transportation fee in Phuket is expensive.

Great stay. The room is very tidy. The decor is relaxing. The pool is clean and not overcrowded. However, there are not enough amenities if you want to spend your whole trip in the resort. The hotel is not at a great location. It is about 1 hour drive to Patong. Nothing special to check out in the vicinity.

I had a wonderful time at Anantara but the staff were what made the trip truly excellent.

I gifted this trip to my mother for her birthday but on the very first day of our travels she tripped over and twisted her knee while we were exploring Turtle Village, the small shopping centre across the road. I dashed across to the hotel where the kind staff organised a golf buggy to come and collect her and take us back to our room. They then sent a first aid officer to help us and offered to call a nurse. Periodically over our entire stay the first aid officer would call in on us to check on her healing knee and even rigged up a walking stick to help her get around. The hotel manager even called us to check everything was ok.

Other staff were wonderful as well; with the morning server at the breakfast sala (buffet) always greeting us with a smile and remembering our drink orders from the previous day.

The hotel itself is beautiful, with a wonderful pool, comfortable beds (I was tempted to steal the pillows) and a giant bath you can truly sink into.

The big draw back is the location. It is a 10- 15 min walk to the beach which isn't great in the heat and the hotel, while close to the airport (20mins away), is at least 45mins from the tourist attractions that may draw you to Phuket in the first place. If you're after peace and quiet this is the perfect place for you and if you don't mind the drive, taxi's are usually cheap and will wait up to 4hrs for you if you want to explore.

We had a two bedroom poolside apartment but had not expected our own private pool. The apartment was very nicely furnished with two en-suite bathrooms, three TVs with DVD players and a well equipped kitchen with washing machine and drier.

The grounds are beautifully laid out and the beach is just ten minutes walk through the complex. There are gift shops,coffee shops and a bar across the street and a supermarket five minutes drive away.

I would recommend renting a car as it is not near to a town.

This hotel is quite new. Location is not that good if you are planning to visit the Phuket Town, however it is only 15-20 mins away from the airport. Hotel services were great but there are on site sales trying to get you to their sales presentation which is a bit annoying. I heard those are high pressured sales presentation selling their membership. They will try to get you attend one by offering you free trips, transfers or spa vouchers etc...

Fantastic 5 star hotel with luxury villas and apartments. Perfectly suited to those who enjoy holidaying with their kids without sacrificing on luxury accommodation. Situated away from the madding crowds on Phukets longest beach is this stylish hotel. Just 15 min from the airport. Convenient transfer to all attractions and activities, and the most comfortable accommodation. Beautiful setting. Good restaurants. Many well kept amenities.
