Close to beach, and transportation,
A family was sleeping in the lobby when we left for a tour early in the morning. The room looked dirty, floor stained. We were on the ground floor and it was very noisy.

Not happy with the stay at the hotel, no parking and I was supposed to privately look for parking and pay a lot of money, unrepaired rooms, not very clean hallway, a pool inside a lot of chlorine caused us eye pain. Clean dining room and delicious breakfast and polite waiters

Excellent location (1 mint walk to beach and boardwalk) and elegant lobby. The room was modern and comfortable. The AC worked very well and the bed was also quite comfortable. The bathroom, though modern, was a bit sub par. The bathtub was dirty and the shower head in the shower was grimy and hanging from the ceiling. Everything worked fine, but it wasn't to same standards as the rest of the room. The highlight of the property was the breakfast, which is varied and complete. Also, the internet was spotty. It did not work the entire time I was in the hotel.

Excellent breakfast and value for your money

The breakfast was amazing. Located close to beach and bus stops. Easy to get to from the airport via public bus. Bed was comfortable. WiFi signal in room was weak, don’t know if that was due to our room location being at the end of the hall. Towels were thin and should probably be replaced. Breakfast should open an hour earlier. We had an early tour to catch and they were very accommodating and let us in early to eat. Staff was very helpful.

long weekend in eilat

we stayed at Astral for a long weekend, enjoying many of the local highlights in Eilat, including the magnificent Park Timna. Like many other hotels in Eilat - Astral is a bit rundown, but as we were celebrating a birthday we went all out and took a suite for mom and dad and a separate room for the bambino. the suite was roomy and spacious, especially the bathroom. we had little need for interaction with the hotel staff, but whenever we did, it was pleasant and courteous.

My stay was great. The hotel manager was so friendly and helpful when it came to accommodating my vegan needs. I had to order a breakfast box for an early morning tour and he was very helpful in making sure I had vegan options. He even remembered me the following morning and asked me if everything was ok. Their morning buffet is extensive and the food was very good. I would definitely stay here again.

If you have any questions to ask the staff, I can save you a little time, the answer is \"No\". Great location. Beautiful town. The Red Sea was clean and awesome. We would visit Eilat again, but not this hotel. The facilities were clean and more than adequate. Love the Mezuzahs on every doorpost. The staff is simply unable or is not allowed to say, \"Yes, we would be happy to help you with that.\"

Hotel well located but very noisy

Only positive point is the location close to the beach.
The staff is lying saying that there is no view on sea or swimming pool. They allocates such room to local citizens and allocates room on airport or parking to foreigners. The swimming pool is beautiful but cannot be used in winter (no warm water). The breakfast is basic with no coffee machine.The towels are too small. Shampoo and soap are minimum. Shabbat meals are too expensive 50 USD per people.

Nice hotel near beach

This was a clean and professionally run hotel near the Eilat beach, shops and restaurants etc. We had a very nice stay. Only problem was the outdoor pool was unheated and we therefore couldn't swim. The pool deck offered a great view, though. Although we got used to it, the hotel is also near the airport runway. Few planes come and go so it was not a deal breaker.

I was initially disappointed because my room was on the main floor at the very back of the hotel with the balcony facing the garbage and parking. I wonder if it was because I am a lone female traveller? Sure hope not! Anyhow, once I got over that I enjoyed my stay and overall it was very nice. Comfortable. Breakfast was the most amazing thing ever. Never seen anything quite like it! Location very good.

Wouldn't stay there again!

We arrived in the evening. We had booked 2 rooms and they didn't have any on the same floor. The hotel is run down. The carpets need to be replaced. No amenities in the bathrooms. It was fine for coming in late and leaving first thing in the morning for our trip to Jordan but it looked and felt very run down. Would not stay there again.

The worst place to stay in Eilat

The room was recently \"renovated\" with paint on the old carpeting. The heat wouldn't come on but the fan would periodically blow cold air as the unit was off. The TV has only 20 channels with no Discovery, Nat Geo, Animal Planet type channels or even movie channels. Plus the remote didn't work well. The WiFi kept dropping off with no signal found. There was no hot water, only warm. The food was the worst I've ever had from any hotel,bnb or kibbutz lodging. I read that the pool was to be heated during the winter but not so, it was very cold and couldn't even use it and the Sea was much warmer. I paid 1919 NIS for 2 nights with dinner and breakfast. Its terribly overpriced and feel ripped off. Oh by the way, there's very little parking. I had to park in the Ice Mall parking lot 3 blocks away, very inconvenient but very nice mall.
