I recently stayed at the Jaz Makadi Saraya Resort with my family, occupying 4 rooms. Upon arrival, I declared my two kids, knowing that two children under 12 stay free. However, Mr. Mahmoud, the assistant front desk manager, insisted I upgrade to a family room, claiming my booking only allowed two adults and one child. Despite my youngest being just 5 years old and there being no significant difference between the rooms, I was forced to pay the upgrade. I later discovered that other guests who didn’t declare their kids had no issues and were not charged extra. Mr. Mahmoud was inflexible and maintained a fake smile throughout the process. Another front desk staff member, also named Abanoub, appeared unfriendly and only smiled at foreign guests.I also noticed deliberate reductions in air conditioning in both the reception bar and restaurant, making these areas uncomfortably hot. The lighting in the reception bar was dimmed, seemingly to discourage guests from staying too long and consuming more food and beverages.The animation team has declined compared to previous years, lacking the expertise of former members like Shams. They now pressure guests to write positive Google reviews on the spot and even take photos to send to their management.On the positive side, Mr. Mahmoud Takey, the front desk manager, resolved an issue for another room in our group, and Abanoub, a waiter in the reception bar, was always helpful and smiling. Abd El Masseh, a waiter is also perfect

Neach is amazing for swimming and. Snorkling . The food quality was good other than this nothing is good
Rooms although very clean but old and bathrooms are old as well as furniture, the sofa bed not comfy ar all, the airconditions in the room are very old and very noisy
The air-conditioning not working in restaurants so we were eating all swetong as it was so hot
The beach is far from the hotel about 1 km walk and to our surprise there was no shuttle or golf car so wd had to walk in 42 degrees to reach the beach which is very hard for children and old people
The restaurant on the beach serving only fast food and the same everyday which was very frustrating for all of us burger shawerma and pizza, if you want a change like pasta or vegetables you have to go to the main restaurant which is 1 km going and another back in this extremely hot weather so we could not do it
In general i would never go again

Best place in Hurghada

Absolutely love this resort!! Second time staying here and I highly recommend. The customer service is A+ from the entire team. They go out of there way to please you. Lots of great entertainment and buffet has great variety. Love their loyalty program of name plaques after 5 returned visits. Everything you need is in this village resort. Numerous pools, spa, playground, shopping, shisha cafe, bars and restaurants and I absolutely LOVE their commitment to the environment. The Makadi Water park is the best aqua park I have ever been too!! You must stay at this place!!

The hotel is great and the staff is very cooperative however, hotel management is totally uncooperative. Never try to approach the reception to solve a problem for you .. they are powerless and the general manager is not cooperative!
If you decide to go there, you will enjoy staff hospitality but try to avoid contacting the front desk.

The Check in process was awesome, and informative... They did confuse is for German, and just kept giving us German language everything... That want a biggie.... Once we got to the room that's where the 5 stars started too droop...Air Conditioning barely cooled.... As long as you didn't move around... Shower pressure was not existent.... The way pool towels are done is not good... Your given 2 for your room to change out by leaving them in the room.. The additional towels by the pools, aren't cleaned fresh and are just cycled.... Lots of things that aren't inclusive dangled infront of you... This is a 2 star masquerading as a 5 star... Definitely focus audience is Russian and Eastern European tourists...

we stayed 8 nights in this hotel , I was pleasantly surprised to find out how efficient and helpful the staff were ,not to mention the cleanliness of the room and the grounds .the food was very good ,and the animation team were excellent especially with children .
I can't fault it ,the only disappointment was the so called WIFI in the room ,if
they can rectify that ,I would say it one of the most enjoyable hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in 5 star hotels in different parts of the world.

A lot of improvement needed.

Could have had better food variety. The entertainment team had a day off on Thursday so the kids were bored, why not stagger the days off? The reception at checking in was aweful, did not explain anything at all. Check out was even worse as they would not let my transfer car into the complex, told to get a mini-bus which goes to te waterpark. When we were walking away Mustapha called us back outside and phoned security to let the car in. Communication was generally poor. Towels at the pool side were re-used as well as in the waterpark, my friend was given a wet one! Got a dodgy stomach when I ate at the beach. On a side note the airport toilets are dirty, no toilet paper, take your own. Take snacks too as the food is over priced.

Special thanks to the guy who cleaned our room 5301 every day and every day made an animal out of a towel & flower petals.

I don't usually review hotels unless I am very pleased or very disappointed. This time I am definitely pleased.

The hotel is very nice (it is in a complex of 13 total hotels). The rooms were clean, spacious and fresh. We enjoyed the beach and the pool and felt that the temperature was just perfect (first half of September).

The food was tasty and the hotel staff was amazing - very professional and helpful and they tried very hard to make us feel welcomed.

We will definitely be back if we have the chance to visit Hurghada again.

It was our second visit to makadi saraya , and it did not disappoint at all . The the hotel is superb , very clean and has lovely well cared for gardens . The rooms are suites with kitchens , tea& coffee making facilities , microwave , small cooker . The food was also very good , something to eat even for the priciest eaters. The staff at the resort are superb , very pleasant and well mannered. I would stay again , no problem . Well done makadi saraya, :))

まず空港からホテルまでのUber はほぼ表示どおりの価格では行ってくれません。100%ボッタクリです。相場は20ユーロ。または交渉です。特にアジア人はぼったくられるので、交渉が嫌ならホテルの25ユーロのハイヤーを使う方が良い(カローラ、ランクルはばい)。またチップはとりあえず100エジプトポンドくらい払う覚悟は常に持っておくこと。

ホテルからシャトルバスを構えてくれたら良いけど、おそらくタクシーがそれでしか生計を立てられないので、反対があるんでしょうね。アジアのリゾートは無料であるけどね。

客室は少し古いがは広くて清潔にしており過ごしやすかった。少し下水の匂いがするが、マシてす。

無料のブュッフェはそこそこ食べれる。コシャリとか分かりやすいエジプト料理があると良いなと思った。(５日滞在したがなかった)。ものすごく美味しいとかの感動は無い。ただ不味くはないてす。(不味いのもあるが、避ければ良)

その他インクルーシブには、冷凍のフライドチキン、フィッシュ、ポテト、アイスクリーム、パスタが昼から出るので泳ぎがらこどもがつまむにはちょうど良い。酒も薄い地ビールやジントニックなどカクテルのみ放題。

とにかくエジプトは水が危ないと聞いており、口コミでお腹が痛くなったの書き込みがいくつかあったので、水道水、生野菜は一切食べず、歯を磨くときも水はミネラルウォーターを使うことで家族全員無事に過ごせました。これはエジプト全体の事なのでこのホテルがどうのこうのという話ではないですが、気をつけておいた方が良い。

ホテルの敷地内にバッタモノの服や鞄などが売ってる商店が並んでおり、リゾートホテルとは程遠い姿を見ることが出来る。
後はとにかくなにかで金を使わせようとスキューバやばぎーのるか？などの勧誘が多くうっとうしい。

ホテル敷地内のスーパーですら値札がなく交渉が必要。
面倒極まりない。それを楽しむ度量があればよいかとおもう。
国全体がそうなのだが、値段を高くても設定して要らん交渉かけないだけでも売り上げ上がるのちゃんと全てに値札をつけるだけでももっと儲かるのに、勿体ないなと思う。金を持ってる人が交渉が面倒で気分悪くなるからそもそもの購買意欲を無くしてしまってるのを理解してない。
後フルガタ空港内(イミグレ後)にバッタモノの店があり、愕然とした。是非楽しんでほしい。

その他良い点は海がきれいで魚も豊富に要るのでシュノーケリングなどで十分楽しめる。清掃はきちんとされており、清潔感はちゃんとある。

ウォーターパーク(アクアパーク)は施設は少し古いが、日本では味わえないスリルを味わうことができる。
プールサイドのコンクリの面が荒いので、手を越すって流血したので、行く人は気をつけてください。

気をつけてほしいのはビーチのタオルは毎日交換制で無くしたりすると金とられる可能性があるので必ず管理すること。

後は客がドイツ人が多くとその他ロシア人と一部イギリス人がいた。アジア人は我々だけだった。小さい対応差別はあるが、私は海外長いのでそこまて気になることは無かった。
従業員もドイツ語も話すので、ハングリーさが違うなと感心させられました。

日本人や韓国人が、気になる点としてはニーハオと言われるので、そのくらいは覚悟しておいた方が良い。
我々から見てもアラブ系の人はどの国の人か見分けつかないように、悪気はない。言葉に出てしまうかどうかは違うが。

ドイツ人はリピート客が多いみたいで従業員と久しぶりみたいな会話をする人が多かったので、ドイツ人には人気のようだった。

Restaurant & Kitchen:
The food was delicious and beautifully prepared. Special thanks to Chef Mohamed and the entire kitchen team for their professionalism, creativity, and friendliness.

Es war sehr laut. Denn unsere Zimmer war mit den absolut einschieben Fenstern gegenüber des Hauptrestaurantes. Trotz extra Geld wurde der Bettbezug nicht gewechselt. Das Essen war sehr einseitig. Sonst hat für eine Woche alles gepasst. Die Ladenbesitzer waren nicht Aufdringlich und zurückhaltend. Spa Preise teurer als in Europa.

Super séjour au Jaz makadi Saraya Resort.
L’hôtel est propre, bien équipé. Le personnel est souriant et sympathique. Le buffet est plutôt répétitif mais vu le choix ce n’est pas un problème on a le droit a un restaurant à la carte pour le séjour. Très bonne ambiance dans l’hôtel je conseille vivement au famille mais déconseille au couple seul. Le Parc aquatique est juste merveilleux pour les enfants.

Meget flot og hyggeligt hotel. Mange små gange rundt på hotellet med flotte træer og buske. 2 store pools. Lidt malurt i bægeret er 10 min. gang til stranden, men det vidste vi. Til gengæld stilfuldt indrettet på stranden og herlig strandbar. Servering på stranden er et plus. Bedst af alt - utrolig fin service overalt på hotellet

Wifi is bad. They try to work on it until summer.
Water bottles for the room/the night. You get it via housekeeping. If it’s empty, it‘s difficult to get new ones until your room gets cleaned again.
Pharmacy. You need to check carefully what they sell. Needed something for a 1 year old baby. They told us this article is from first day on. That was not true. In the leaflet it was mentioned to be dangerous for children below 2 years. We threw it away then.

Fantastic service and staff. The rooms are spacious but in need of renovation. The quality of the buffet is excellent. The all inclusive drinks are great the kids loved the large selection of mocktails. The location is nice just a few minutes walk to the beach and the inclusion of trips to the waterpark was appreciated by the kids. I also liked the fact I could get a real cappuccino from the pool bar. The a la carte restaurants are fantastic but restricted to one visit per week. Further visits are charged and with a family are really expensive. This is a shame - it would be better to offer packages with more a la carte dining. Buffet for a week with three kids is not great.

Ho girato tutto il mondo ma questo posto mi ha davvero colpito. Il Resort è davvero stupendo, molto curato, con tanto verde ben tenuto. Il personale è stupendo ed anche l'animazione con cui abbiamo fatto amicizia è stato grandioso. Il mangiare è abbondante e ottimo. Da tornarci sicuramente!

Impossible de mettre 5 etoiles a cet etablissement.
La musique est très forte à partir de 10h à la piscine principale...donc direction la piscine relaxante qui n'a de relaxant que le Nom!
Le buffet du restaurant n'est pas varié et la qualité médiocre !
Seul point positif: la gentillesse de certains membres du staff.
Pour résumer : j'écourte le séjour et décide de changer d'hôtel.

Underbart hotell som jag och min familj åker till fler gånger om året, renligt och underbar personal och jättebra service, jättegod variation på mat och flera al carte restauranger, vacker stor trädgård och stora fina rum! Stranden ligger inte långt ifrån och den är underbart lång och nära till fina snorklingställen korallrev! Finns stort vattenland med roliga rutschbanor och vattenlek som ingår när man bor på saraya! Kan varmt rekommendera detta varma härliga hotell!

Mooie grote 45m2 kamer en balkon. Wel iets verouderd maar super schoon. Ontzettend klant vriendelijk personeel goed eten genoeg variatie. Animatie is redelijk. Maar de avond optredens in de lobby bar zijn goed. Alles wordt super schoon gemaakt. Na het strand lopen is makkelijk te doen. Prima service transfer dienst ophalen en wegbrengen naar de airport. Echt top
