Really Lovely hotel, We had 2 rooms for us and 5 children. Lovely pools, great fun loving life guards. Great food, plenty of choice. Great kids club and Animation team. Full of fun and high spitits, even managed to get the Teenagers on stage to take part!!! Expedia leads people to believe it has a water park but it only has 3 slides. These were great fun but not the waterpark we were expecting! However for the price it was great and we just booked a trip to Makadi Water world. And to be fair one day there was exhausing so we didnt need 2 weeks access!!!
We booked direct with the water world and booked an indrive transfer which was a lot cheaper then the excursions.
The Beach was lovely and full of beautiful fish. 2 Lifeguards watching the sea at all times. We went for 2 weeks and did several excursions. When the kids were bored of Volley ball, Playing Pool, the slides, and everything else we ordered a badminton set from Amazon to be delivered to the hotel and played that on the beach.
All in all a fantastic holiday and was perfect for us as its a smaller resort and a bit quieter as we have ADHD and Autistic children.

We had a pleasant experience at Prima life during our family trip. The hotel is very family-friendly, with a spacious rooms, large pools for both kids and adults, and a beautiful layout with plenty of greenery to walk around . Really eye catching. The main restaurant offers a wide variety of tasty food, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay and I hope they will keep same level service all the time

There are a few areas where improvements could make the experience even better:
1.The à la carte service could be improved in terms of quality and time organisation.
2.Adding upgraded water slides or an aqua park near the beach would be a fantastic enhancement, especially given the great sea view and available space and guest will pay extra for it without a doubt.
3.If possible removing the stones at the sea entrance would make it much safer, particularly for children.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for families, especially if the pricing remains reasonable. With a few improvements, it could easily become an outstanding destination. We truly loved our stay .

We are here for the 12th time and it's amazing as usual: food is tasty and varied, a lot of fruit and vegetables, different kinds of meat , fish and seafood. Stuff is always friendly and helpful, rooms are clean. Sandy beach, rich coral reef and not windy location.

Like Always Prima Life is the perfect place for our family to be. Slight renovation works but it did not disturb at all.

Makadi Bay is beautiful, and the hotel has a nice, private stretch. The water is crystal clear.

Everyone was super welcoming and helpful throughout our stay.

Really enjoyed the meals! There was always something fresh to try, and the quality was excellent for an all-inclusive.

The pools are lovely and the grounds are very clean. It was easy to find a sunbed and just relax.

Room & catering generally good.
Main concerns were noise level of animation team on PA system at the beach. Speaker facing out to sea could be heard across the bay at Stella Makadi. Announcements were very loud, but incomprehensible. Not even sure if language being spoken.
Decibel level beyond safe for human ears. Inane & mindless dancing to repetitive tunes throughout the day
Ditto at night, when noise levels were unacceptable & dangerous to hearing.

There should be a quiet zone for relaxation.
Also there was no designated non-smoking area. Sunbeds & outdoor tables are so close together that it's impossible to avoid secondary smoke.

Not really 5 star.

Breakfast portions and portions were great. The eggs station chef was always cooperative and helpful, plenty of veggies, fruit, bakery, and oven fresh bread and Egyptian Feteer.

Same goes to the launch with so many fresh options, varied meal options including great pastry on offer.

Dinner options varied every day with a specific themes each day that makes the dinner staff change the table clothing and their costume accordingly.

Food served in the restaurants is good but lacks variety. Shops and chemist at the hotel charge exorbitantly so better to avoid them.

Great property and comfy, clean room. Staff very accommodating - Mageb at the bar and Alex at Titos dive shop were wonderful! Loved having the dive shop right there to rent snorkels and being able to snorkel the beautiful reef right from the hotel - incredible!! BUT - the hotel must do something to ensure their guests protect the reef - we saw so many people stepping on the coral and breaking off chunks. It was obvious they had no clue how long it takes for the coral to grow and how fragile it is. The reefs will be gone soon unless more action is take to protect them!

- The air conditioning in the reception area and main restaurant was not functioning optimally.
- The food variety was excellent, but the taste could be improved.

We stayed for 10 days and had the same food over and over. No pool side drinks were served other than the ones you paid extra for like fresh squeezed orange juice. They walked around trying to sell excursions, romantic dinner or Massages which was annoying. They tripled the price for medicine in their pharmacy and bazar compared to the pharmacies in the city. Charged us 30 euros one way from the airport for shuttle to the resort. We got a taxi and he charged us 14 euros to take us back to the airport. It was just a money hungry place. WiFi didn’t work half the time. When one of the waiters didn’t clean the table quick enough his boss was shouting at him across the dining hall where people were eating. Not very professional.

Prima life was one of the best resorts my family and I have stayed in. From the hospitality, kindness of the workers, to the cleanliness of the space and rooms, I will definitely be returning. The food is great and they offer various options and variety. It’s one of the few resorts that has access directly to the Red Sea and is minutes by foot. The pool was cold so we spent most of the time at the beach. We highly recommend prima life. Thank you for welcoming us with open arms ♥️

The sea is beautiful and the snorkeling is superb. We were really impressed by the lifeguards who keep a close watch to keep everyone safe. The pool is very quiet and has a heated part that is great. The waterslides were nice.
The entertainment team work hard and try to engage you but not too much. We were here over Halloween and they really did an impressive job.
Staff are really pleasant and personable. We did boat trip with Tito's from the beach that was lovely. This is a very international hotel with 10 plus nationalities that we really enjoyed this.

Really clean site, we asked for a ground floor room and this was provided so we were really happy, public toilets really clean as are all public areas

We used shuttle into hurgada which was great

Food is widely available throughout site at all times

This is a fairly small hotel but it really is great we had a superb time

We also bought massages and beauty treatments and paid extra for special lobster dinner which was lovely

Room was spacious, modern and clean. Fantastic & friendly daily house keeping service by Omar in block 6.
The Maître d'hôtel, Mohammed provided excellent service to our family each time we came to eat at the restaurant. We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks. My sister and my two nieces. Great facilities for kids by the way. Overall the pools were great, ambience of the hotel at night was nice, the beach was incredible and had a really great snorkelling spot. Food choices were good.
I felt that some of the tours & spa prices sold at the resort were expensive. My sister expressed that sometimes she felt interrupted by the staff trying to sell tours and approach her when she is trying to relax at the beach. The hotel was packed with tourists, mainly from Russia and Europe. Some occasions, I felt a little out of place as an english speaking Aussie and did not come across any other native english speaking guests during my stay. A lot of the staff spoke fluent German or Russian but struggled with english I found. I had a private driver (not related to hotel services) from Luxor to the hotel and on arrival I noticed he got out of the car and walked to the security hut. I queried it and my driver told me he had to pay the security guard 100 EGP baksheesh just to be able to enter and drop me off at reception. I felt bad so I reimbursed my driver for the baksheesh. I was not happy about this treatment upon arrival at Prima Life Makadi. disappointing.

We arrived on October 18th around 1 PM and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Assem, one of the most professional and respectful people you could ever meet. He helped us with an upgrade to our rooms, and while waiting for them to be ready, we enjoyed lunch at the restaurant.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable, honestly above expectations.

🏖️ Facilities:
•Pool: Big, clean, and very nice.
•Aqua Park: Unfortunately, there’s barely one — just two small slides, nothing more.
•Beach: Absolutely beautiful! You can see amazing fish and coral reefs. The beginning of the beach is sandy, and as you go deeper, you’ll find stunning coral areas — perfect for snorkeling.

🍽️ Food:
•Savory food: Honestly, very tasty and varied, both for lunch and dinner.
⭐️ Rating: 9/10
•Desserts: This was the weakest part of the hotel. Most desserts weren’t good at all, and definitely not at the same level as the main food. Only one night they served special desserts that were nice.
⭐️ Rating: 2/10

Special thanks to Chef Gaber, who makes the best pizza by the beach during lunchtime — it’s really delicious! There’s also freshly made Egyptian feteer by the beach, which tastes great too.

Animation Team:

The animation team was friendly, active, and made the atmosphere very enjoyable.

Overall, Prima Life Makadi is a lovely hotel with great food, friendly staff, and a beautiful beach — just needs improvement in the dessert section and aqua park.

Overall a nice hotel! We had the best sea view room - it was spacious, clean and AC worked well. The shower was weak, especially in the evenings when everyone is back from the pool and beach to shower at the same time. Buffet food wasn't great but the A La Carte restaurants were much better. Lots of food and drink options, so for all inclusive it's a good deal. Location was right on the beach and we saw lots of fish and coral in the sea. Lots of the staff around the resort don't speak English well so getting correct information was sometimes difficult.

My wife & I have just returned from our 10 night stay in Prima Life where I celebrated my 60th. My honest opinion of our stay is, I would consider this more a 4* hotel. Although the rooms were lovely they were not as I would expect as a 5* hotel. The rooms were clean and I opt for a sea view with balcony which was nice. Room cleaning was excellent and our room cleaner Ali was fantastic and did a great job. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay but we did get hounded by one of the staff members trying to sell us a candle light dinner & exclusive dinner every day even though I had already booked this ahead with Expedia but he made out I was not telling the truth. The overall experience was fantastic and I would recommend this hotel. The hotel has got some entertainment and some that is paid for.

The trip with Tito’s to Make a wish (Magawish) island was worth every penny and would highly recommend it. It’s an all day trip with snorkeling and a stop to a lovely island, great scenery of pictures.

If your traveling take Dollars and you do need a Visa purchased on arrival or online ahead. No credit cards accepted at the airport although you can withdraw money but the exchange rate isn’t great.

Prima Life Makadi - an excellent stay

This hotel was a 10/10 for me. i booked for my partners 30th birthday as a present and it completely met my expectations.

All staff are welcoming and friendly at the resort, from reception, cleaning staff, hospitality, animation team, security etc. they try and help you with any queries you may have from the moment you check-in.

this hotel also has its own private beach and a huge central pool which runs down the centre of the resort, with a swim up bar and different areas of depths depending on your preference. The beach is decked with complimentary sunbeds / umbrellas with toilets nearby.

we never struggled to get a sunbed, you dont have to put yout towel out early and have a variety of options to sit by the pool. there are also a few outdoor bars which serve food and drink in close proximity to both the pool and beach front.

The rooms are also incredibly spacious, i booked a standard room and you can see from the image below how large the bed is + all the additional floor space.

the buffet restaurant also swaps up a theme each night (Egyptian, Italian etc) so theres loads of variety + 4 al a carte restaurants to choose from.

the hotel itself is further away from any amenities, its 30mins from Hurghada centre but the hotel does run evening shuttles for a marginal price (7 euros approx). they also run their own excursions from the lobby

Prima Life Makadi is simply the best! This is my 7th year here, and I can’t describe how happy I am with the warm reception, the cleanliness of the rooms, the swimming pool, the beach, and the sea.

Special thanks to the reception team, especially Mr. Abo ElKhair, Mr. Ahmed, Mr. Ashraf, and Mr. Mohammed, as well as all the hotel managers for their outstanding service.

Clean everywhere, variety of food and beverage. Staff is very helpful, easy and fast check in. Head Chef Samy is amazing.

٢ تنوع الاكل اكتر من اي سنة و كذلك مستوي الاكل في تطور ملحوظ من حيث انواع الجبن و اللحوم و الاسماك
٣ الانيمشن شغال جامد عن اي سنة
٤- فندق مليان لاند سكيب جميلة اوي و بيهتموا بيها
٥- طاقم الريسبشن بشوشين جدا شكرا خاص ليهم و بالاخص استاذ عاصم٦-
٧ - البحر مش محتاج وصف احسن بحر في الغردقة من حيث وجود اسماك ملونة بالقرب من الشط و انت واقف مكانك شايف كمية كبيرة من السمك

Highly recommend Prima life Makadi for anyone who is looking forward for an amazing holiday. Everything is perfect starting from meetingAsim at the reception who is a really very helpful, and an awesome man. Also we can’t forget all the lovely reception and bar people who are always smily and cheerful.

The best Animation team you can ever meet, very talkative, smily and all day working team leaded by Safi. Thanks Safi, Kamilia ( Koko) , Donia , Kristeen, Moody, Sonic, Bebo and Lucy for all your hard work, we all had a great time and the kids enjoyed all the activities and shows.

Talking about the restaurant, you will eat the most delicious Egyptian bread baked by the kindest lady Om Hashim, you can’t miss it every meal.
Thanks a lot for everyone in the restaurant for the yummy food, thanks all the chefs and waiters who’ve worked hard all the time to cook such an amazing wide variety food and keep the restaurant nice and clean and helping everyone for anything needed.

The pools are really good and satisfactory for all ages, the beach is a piece of heaven where you can enjoy snorkelling and see loads af sea creatures near the beach

Our stay was truly amazing. The resort was amazing. We stayed there for a week with my brother, and everything was as advertised. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the resort is very quiet, and walkable. The private beach is also very good, although a bit small.
Shoutout to Amr and the manager of the hotel, who were very accomodating, and helped me a lot during my stay.
Would highly recommend!!
