I did like the violin lady play duing dinner, she was awesome. I was disappointed she didn't play on the next day.

I don’t think i will visit this hotel again

This is my second visit, this place used to be amazing, but now it is ok. The cleanliness is excellent, first day i arrived there was no water in our room for more than 4 hours, and on and off for the next 3 days, i requested an iron to use, when i wasn’t in my room they took it without telling and i found it was the only one for the whole floor, the entertainment for the first 2 days was very boring and ok for the rest… the food was very good…they used to give 2 vouchers for the Italian and Mexican restaurants… now they don’t and when i ask why they said policy have changed…on my checkout day they kept calling every 15 mins to tell me that i have to checkout today or i will pay extra penalty 40$

It was good and we really enjoyed alot, specially animation team and mix max show during feast.

Only one thing wasnt pleased of that i tried to change my type of booking from double to single with child through hotels but I cant and when i reached the hotel ,the front desk insisted that he cant do anything and that's really annoyed me

Cons

- One has to walk for long to reach sea swimming and snorkeling spots. Not convenient very specially for elderly guests.
- Too many stairs to reach the restaurant or reception. Mind the room location for the elderly guests
- Bad golf car rental service. Faulty cars (not sure if this is controlled by the hotel or not)

I don’t think i will visit it again

It’s the 4th time for me to visit this hotel. The service wasn’t that good. Food was very bad not as before , no varieties, taste wasn’t good.
Air conditioning wasn’t working and they came twice to repair it and even they didn’t clean the room after finishing. The TV sometimes doesn’t work just a freezing screen and i asked to repair it too. The service at the beach was very bad as they are sharing it with another hotel and even there was only representative from the other hotel nobody from tropitel. The view was great as it was a sea view room.

Aymane and the whole staff serving during meal times went above and beyond to ensure any needs, requests met/addressed. animation team were engaging and entertaining. Entire resort team makes you feel like family and welcome without pressures of extra costs/fees.The only thing needs improvement is to get Wifi inside rooms.

Actually it’s not about the property it’s about Expedia I reserved a room and paid online and when I reach the hotel they didn’t find any reservation and they asked for double price to accommodate and all my vacation was fights between me and the hotel and Expedia which I don’t trust anymore and will never ever book something on it again and never to be recommended again from me !

Everything was great. The room was very nice, clean and modern. It has many swimming pools and I love how it has one for the kids to freely play around. The scenery was beautiful. The beach is very nice and crystal blue which is nice to just lay there and feel relaxed while listening to the waves. The only thing that needs to be updated is the food. The food was great but I think it just needs to have a bit more variety and a bit more taste. But overall beautiful hotel.

It really was a great hotel, we had a fab time. Rooms were clean and big, pools were great though a bit cold for me but not my kids. Food was fine although I did have a bad stomach for 2 days, don't know what happened there. Entertainment was there if you wanted it but on quite late I thought personally but that seems to be the Egyptian way. The guests were mostly Egyptian, Russian and Europeans and staff communicated with everyone and were mostly friendly and helpful. It was a shame to leave but we would probably return again in the future.

The hotel staff was nice and pleasing, but nothing exceptional. They were informative when asked questions. The staff was a little slow in responding to needs at times. For example, there was a point when we needed some extra towels sent up to our room, and we had to call the front desk twice before towels were sent up. Speaking of towels, it should be noted that they do not provide wash clothes to wash your body or face with. They only provide body towels, and hand towels. Our room was clean and simple. There isn't much attention given to decoration (no paintings, sculptures, etc.), just the bare minimum. This left the room with a cold atmosphere. The same can be said for the hallways. Neutral walls, no paintings, benches, loveseats, etc. anywhere, except for in the lobby; so it kind of feels like a maze. The breakfast was lackluster. I mainly stuck to the fresh fruit and toast after the first day of trying the food. I steered clear of their buffet which looked dry and recycled from previous days. Their outdoor premises are nice. Their pool and beach area is great. The on premise restaurants (Mexican and Italian) are also lackluster. Concerning their spa area; everything costs extra except the fitness room. So if you want to enjoy the sauna, steam room, etc. (which is usually included in most hotels and resorts for no charge) do not choose this hotel. The hotel has a lot of potential, but as it is right now, I would not come back for another visit.

Service in this hotel is likely the worst among all beach resorts I have been to in the world. English level is on average low. Room cleaning is not good. The bath tub is not clean-found hairs the first day when I arrive and they are still there after two days I stayed in the hotel. Even I told the hotel service to shine my shoes they never come. I had to call to ask them to return my laundry after one day. Room service people don't really speak English. The hotel provides shuttle to take guests for clubbing in Hurghada, but they offer rides to many teenagers to clubs and were extremely unprofessional in the shuttle service by being late, offering detour to those teenagers for supermarket shopping after 3am though it has passed the time by which it had promised to be back to hotel. Restaurant food is nothing exciting. If you didn't book for full board and just like to pay for dinner, they would be watching you like you could be stealing food and bring you check in the middle of your food.
The only hilight is the diving center. They offer very nice tours,and people working there are professional and priceis reasonable.

Perfect for a chilled out holiday

I have been to Egypt many many times, usually Sharm but I decided this time to go to Hurghada. The Sahl Hasheesh area is beautifully maintained with lush gardens. A friend recommended The Tropitel. This is one of the better hotels I have stayed in, with modern rooms and the bonus of both a shower and bath in the bathroom.

The rating system for Egyptian hotels is different to many other countries. This is rated 5 star but is more what we would consider a 4 star. Having said that you wouldn't get a 5 star hotel for these prices. The public areas were very clean and well-maintained. The food was very good compared with other Egyptian hotels I have stayed in with lots of options if you are vegetarian. I tried the Mexican restaurant whilst I was there which was great but I wouldn't recommend the Indian unless you like a lot of salt in your food.

The staff are all very friendly and can't do enough for you. Special mention to Ahmed, the pool guy and Hossam at the middle pool bar. Outstanding service and really went all out to make my birthday special.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely be back.

Had an amazing 5 nights stay. Everything was perfect, the hotel facilities, beach, landscape. Wide dining and food options with excellent quality offering different dinner themes and cuisines everyday. Staff very friendly, very active animation team with lots of activities all day long and evening shows everyday. Beach in Sahl Hasheesh is amazing with beatufiul marine life you wont see anywhere in Hurghada.

Great people, food, location. 5 star luxury. Nothing too much trouble all staff from animation team to front of house cleaners waiters etc all superb. Felt really disappointed to be leaving which for me is a sign of a great holiday although have made some friends for life. Plenty of things to do and see or perfect for a chill out holiday.

The hotels deserves what u pay for

First of all the hotel is in sahl hashish which is about 30 mins by car from hurghada airport we booked a car from the same hotel (through ashraf and Amr was the driver ) very good service Amr waited us at the airport carrying my name on time so its highly recommended.
Second the hotel is really big and nice the rooms are okay , clean , with a very good AC , not far away from beach, the staff at the pool bar ( Abdallah and mohamad are friendly and polite and they serve u well) theres many bars around the hotel which serve snacks all the time till 5 , the hotel has aquapark also its nice, the food is quite fine not wow but okay but they have one day they serve seafood it was so good, u can reserve at the italian or mexican rest instead of main rest, the animation team is amazing salah and other guys seriously they are full of energy and they do many activities to entertain you on the pool at the beach they do night shows everyday at the beach and they are really professional no need to get out of the hotel,, there's a mairmaid bar on 4th floor its nice for watching football games and another oriental cafe for shesha and an arabic singer.

Like that there is a charge to bring ice to the room and a charge to unlock the TV because we were trying to connect a usb to watch a movie
And what was really so bad for me is that there is no beach there is no depth at all for a very long distance and after this distance it is extremely deep that i can not be with my family so i spent all the stay at the pool

This is a most comfortable hotel with easy access to the beach via the swimming pools. I found the staff very polite and friendly and if you require activities there are plenty of them. These are explained to you but are not pushed onto you.
Excellent choice of food in the buffet and very friendly staff.
I enjoyed my time here very much.

Very nice hotel but let down by Service from staff and food. The staff appear to be disinterested in serving the guest and you never get a smile out of them. Food was very poor, especially for vegetarians where they consider cooking meat in the same oil or pan at the same time as being acceptable for vegetarians. This hotel has potential but needs to resolve this issues.

Friendly, well featured beach resort.

This was a great hotel situated in an excellent location. Many pools, is own private beach area and pier on edge of coral provided many ways of relaxing and enjoying the beach aspects of the holiday.

The staff at the hotel were all really friendly from setting foot into the hotel to leaving.

The quality of food was plentiful, with many cuisines from around the world covered on themed nights. A host of bars around the resort made sure you were never thirsty. The Mermaid bar was an excellent bar with a gaming and sports atmosphere around it's marine theme.

Overall an excellent hotel, with friendly helpful service and the ability of its features to leave you feeling well relaxed.

Everything was perfect ,beach comfortable, pools,large luxurious lobby,food and beverage except one dinner of Friday 26th of February was not satisfactory and also juices are very poor.

Relaxing and friendly

Thank you Tropitel for making our stay so pleasant. All the staff were friendly, more than helpful and good at their jobs. The view from our Junior Suite room was beautifaul and we had sun on our balcony until early afternoon. Great food and facilities.

Decent place, but not more

Ok hotel but nothing special. The buffet was ok and at least they tried with a \"healthy corner\" although it was the same every day. Having bad wi-fi and making the guests pay for it in 2015 is just not right. Friendly staff except for the reception who was late and somewhat rude.

Hotel was beautiful, immaculately clean. All staff so helpful and friendly. Food was amazing. Mega location on the beach, and felt totally safe at all times. Cannot fault this hotel at all..... Excellent value.... Will return

The first anniversary of my marriage i was right to choose this hotel ,is the best hotel i ever stay ,warm welcome from Mr,Zaki in reception ,very helpful and such a good person for this place,there was cake and letter from Mr, Ihab G.M Congratulate me
the hotel is very good ,in front of the sea with big view ,room clean and room service is good ,the food also nice

Lovely clean friendly hotel

First time in egypt, and we couldn't have asked for a better hotel or friendly staff.
The food was great and lots of choice. Beach lovely and very clean.
