Toilet was plugged and would not flush staff was no help. No parking and scary amount of homeless people and drug activity.

Breakfast was ridiculous. No silverware, no seating, no apple juice and once again no help from the staff. The waffle iron worked, but no butter, the syrup container was empty and no silverware in sight…..

Even the ice machine was broken

Not sure what is going on here this was once a nice property. Usually stay here 3 or 4 times a year when in Chico. Won’t make that mistake again

On the plus side I paid twice what everyone else did for a spot at the days inn. Really disappointed

Was a great stay . Staff was nice and rooms were clean . The only thing that I can say about it was the $30 checking in early fee. Waiting to 4pm to check in is a bit inconvenient but other then that, I enjoyed my stay very much

Nice resort but the sofa pull out bed was horrible. We left and checked out day sooner due to person not able to sleep well in it

Enjoyed the social hour, breakfast and resort.

Nice large space with clean vinyl flooring & relaxing bed. The air conditioner keep us comfortable although we would have liked it quieter when it was cooling the room. Reception & breakfast staff were friendly & helpful. Didn't use the exercise facility, pool or wifi thus the lower rating which doesn't imply a shortfall in any way. Stayed here many times & will return.

As a Chico state parent that plans on making more trips to come in the future, I highly recommend Oxford suites. We have had an incredible experience from beginning to end. All of the staff have been super helpful, helping us to understand and utilize the accommodations. Their free shuttle to and from campus has been a huge help. The pool is clean, comfortable and a great way to relax in the heat. The beds were very comfortable and helped us to relax after a long day of walking. I will absolutely be staying here again. Thank you!

like: location, several quality eating facilities directly across street, but didn't feel like were staying at a strip mall.
Friendly, helpful staff all we encountered
breakfast offerings were simple, but slight changes made each day we were there

did not like: public areas, i.e. downstairs bathrooms for "pool" use not cleaned well
dirty towels on floor there from evening to next morning at
breakfast time = 7:30 am
also outside walkway used as toilet - along walkway, and it was not from pets

Overall very nice, but not the best for our demographic. The room was a bit cramped and the breakfast was too spicy. We ended up eating at Denny’s.

The smell in the room was horrible…Indian food or Marijuana smell. I had to hold a tea bag to my nose to sleep. The breakfast was mediocre…nothing special. The staff did not help me with my room issue. They were too busy.

Other than the smell, the room was clean.

I usually don’t complain about my hotel stays.

Breakfast was good, but the food continually ran out and had to be replenished multiple times with guests having to wait for them to be replenished. The room we had was great but the bathtub/shower had a very creaky floor and felt like there was absolutely no support in the tub. Overall, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room and facilities seemed very clean.

Staff was exceptional and room was surface clean throughout. Hallways needed vaccuuming and we found leftover items from past guests in our room which were not of any sanitary concern but a sweep of higher places, like closet shelves, should be done.
Maids were exceptionally pleasant about any requests we had (new towels, etc)

The property was decent. Police were by the entrance which was alarming at first. The location was nice, close to the brewery and new barn where they had country music. The hotel had no sound barrier so the person above us kept us awake. We could hear him walk heavily back and forth several times (I think we counted 20 times each time). Breakfast was decent but it seemed they couldn’t keep up with the amount of people eating at the same time.

Breakfast was good, but breakfast room is too small and outdated to the point of shabbiness. No trays or paper napkins available, much too crowded. The guest room was clean, but again, quite outdated. Poor lighting, very dim, nowhere with enough light for putting on contact lenses or makeup. The remote didn’t work most of the time, needed batteries. The tv required my amazon or Netflix ID to work unless I wanted to watch what seemed to be a Christian news channel. The Staff was nice. Since I was driving into town for an event at 3 pm, I requested an early check-in a week in advance and was told that was not possible. I then received an email requesting that I do an advance check-in online, the day before my arrival, with an option to pay $15 for early check-in, but my request never progressed beyond pending. I don’t understand the policy, check in time is 4 pm, checkout time is 11 am. When I checked out (before 10 am) I forgot an item in the room, I returned to retrieve it at 11 am that day the room had already been cleaned, as had many, if not most of the rooms on my floor. Seems to me that accommodating a guest with an early check-in is a pretty simple way to treat guests. Not sure I would return unless I absolutely couldn’t find other options.

Noisy location - highway and parking area quite noticeable. Room isn't well insulated from noise or light. Slight smell of cigarette smoke - maybe room below? Bed was super comfortable, so there's that. Staff is really friendly.
