DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival, we spotted an un-housed person and his friend living under the staircase of where our room was located. We spoke to the front office women, who was very kind and she spoke to the (I’m guessing maintenance man or manager, not sure) man doing pool work, who did ask the people to leave. However, he said to them that he was asking them because “those people” complained. Yes. We did. They had their whole living room underneath the staircase, including alcohol, astroglide, dog, etc. We were content with them being asked to relocate. As we made our way into the room, the room itself was ok despite a cigarette odor. My husband made his way to check out the bathroom and there was splatters of blood all over the mirror. NOPE. We asked for a refund and the front desk women did accommodate this. She was lovely and we appreciated her understanding. Days Inn— DO BETTER!

We checked in and left within an hour because the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The room also appeared unclean and poorly maintained, which made us uncomfortable staying there.

What made the experience especially frustrating was that the hotel refused to provide a refund, despite us leaving almost immediately after seeing the condition of the room.

Had the situation been handled differently, I likely would not have left a negative review. Unfortunately, between the condition of the room and the lack of customer service, I cannot recommend staying here.

At fiesta the hotel didn't seem like a Nice place to stay. However, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff was Nice. The complementar y breakfast leaves lot to be desired. But in general it was a good place to stay.

air conditioner didn't work. We moved to a clean room where AC worked but very noisy. Also noticed a man taking a shower with a garden hose, just outside the pool area. Motel was not in newer area of chico, so had a pretty \"used\" atmosphere about it and not well maintained. price reflected conditiopn of unit.

Wasn’t too bad for a motel. Had to reprogram my key the second day after we got breakfast. There was some type of plastic melted onto one of the bedsheets when we got there and there was a very strict incidental fee policy for ruined or stollen linens but I don’t think they charged me so that’s good lol, we found an old taco in the microwave. Other than that it was clean, the bathroom was pretty clean for a motel so that was good, the shower and tub were actually nicer than the ones at our apartment. A/C worked well.

This is not Days Inn quality place. I believe it was recently acquired, the place is run down, sheets where ripped, ceiling had dark handprints, roach in bathroom, very dirty under microwave, there is no coffee maker, no counter/sink space in restroom. Not happy with this place.

We stayed here for our son‘s graduation. It was the worst experience we have ever had, including an angry, rude desk Manager smoke filled disgusting rooms with cockroaches. The front desk manager was literally unhinged. There was a homeless man sleeping on the sidewalk by our room. He was covered in a poop covered blanket for the two days we were there. We gave him some supplies and he told us he had been staying at this dump for $75 a night. They jacked the rates for $300 a day for the graduation weekend and forced him out to sleep on the sidewalk. He had a walker and could not move around, so he literally laid there by our room on the sidewalk, waiting for the weekend to pass.

The cleanness of the the room was not the best I walked bare foot and my socks they ended up very dirty.. also when I took a shower the drain on the tub was clogged and notified the front office they said that will send the maintenance guy. But I told the front office office person that we need the shower ASAP because my son needed to take a shower because we need to attend his graduation I told him to switch me rooms he said no everything was occupied then he offered because I told him my son took take a shower only in a different room because the toilet was clogged . Then I told him that I will stay in my room if everything was full he said that he needed to talk to the manager. Amenities like the pool didn’t look clean and also the pictures when I made the reservation it doesn’t look the same in person totally different also the beds were too small not a queen size . They way the property looks it seems they rent to homeless or low income people because some people screening profanity.. I would like to get a refund for the stay.

The pool is not in service; kids were not happy. Nobody was at front desk to check the 3 customers waiting in line for quite some time. Room was not clean; hair on floor and in bathroom shower. I hope you like PBS because that’s the only channel available. Very loud at night; I got the impression some guests are living there.

The room seemed fairly clean, but we found a dryer sheet under the blanket and some kind of bug in the bathroom. I was also disappointed by the \"breakfast.\" The rule is only one pastry per guest and they were all out by the time we had breakfast at 9:50am, so all we got was a Capri-Sun and coffee. The staff seemed honest if a bit blunt.

Do not stay here. The room that my family and I stayed smelled heavily of smoke. My kids’ allergies and asthma flared up as a result. I asked to be moved or for the reservation to be cancelled but instead I was offered a partial refund for one of the two nights. This place needs to improve.

Toilet wouldn’t flush, air conditioner didn’t work. Killed two cockroaches in bathroom. Transients in parking lot. Booked a king bed, got two double beds.

When I went to the front desk, they attendant said she could re clean it. At that point, i asked for a refund. I couldnt stay there with it being so gross.

The room did smell a little stale but nothing that a little bit of essential oil didn't fix.

Property is renovated but still a motel, for a 1 night stay it does its job. Bathroom toilet is somewhat peculiar, so close to the wall that you wonder who would be able to use a toilet like that. Overall it’s an ok property located in a great location.

Very, very dirty. I’m not sure if they have cleaned after the last 10 guests at least. Very loud. There were people constantly going in and out of their rooms next to us. Slamming the door, yelling and arguing most of the night. Will not be staying there again.

The front desk felt unfriendly from the start. No smile. No welcome. Check in moved slowly and set the tone for the stay.

The room smelled like smoke the moment we walked in. The metal bed frame made noise every time we moved. The bathroom felt mediocre and I preferred not to use the shower. The towels were thin and rough. The bath towels were also small.

This stay did not meet basic expectations for comfort or service.

The staff was friendly and tried to help. The room had no extra blankets and it was chilly. The bathroom was not clean. The towels were paper thin - no showering for me, spent $30 for gym day pass to shower. There was a loud disturbance n the parking lot for most of the night. Staff claimed they couldn’t call police before ten. I called police who arrived around midnight. The guy stayed in his car playing softer music but was just there in. The parking lot being creepy. The “breakfast” room was cluttered with boxes and had nothing aside from a packaged pastry. Did not feel safe here at all.

Do not be fooled by the photos, they are photos apparently very old when everything was new, in poor condition the striped floors seemed to be dirty, smell in the room not pleasant, in the bathroom only they put a mini soap to bathe and wash your hands, it is not just a matter of cleaning but it is not what they show, the pool was out of service and not to mention the \"breakfast\" if it can be called that, for this price there are better places, better conditions and with a real breakfast, Do not be fooled seriously you find something better and even for less, seriously I am left with an ungood experience of this place.
