BE AWARE: This is a three-story hotel with NO elevator. They don't notify you of that until you have already booked. So if you need an accessible room, you should look elsewhere. When checking in, we let them know that we need a ground-floor level room because we were not aware that there wasn't an elevator. They told us we had to request a handicap room when we did our booking, and there were no ground-floor rooms available. It wasn't until we threatened to cancel the booking that three ground-floor rooms magically became available. While we were getting everything straightened out, another man with mobility issues also raised the same concern. The lack of an elevator in a three-story hotel is something that should be disclosed before booking.

Horrible location and Sketchy Hotel (at best)

At check in the lobby smelled heavily of marijuana. I asked the front desk person and he casually said “I thought I smelt it”. Which tells me it was probably from him. At check out there were two people trying to get a room (and did) who obviously were under the influence of narcotics. It was just sad. I t was NOT safe for a single mom and her son.

Rooms and bedding were basically okay. I've stay here about 10 years. It located at the end of the court next to motel 6, dbl tree and dennys. Hasn't changed much but For the price and amenities compared to others it was decent. I like that not much traffic. Fairly quiet although i can hear ppl upstairs walking and near the stairway but after 10pm was quiet and felt safe. No elevators. Had a pool. Free Continental breakfast make your waffles was a nice touch. This hotel met my expectations. My cons, maybe some up grades is needed to stay competitive, walk-in shower, carpet, tv to small, more lighting, bedding and pillows. Overall a decent stay.

This is still a Super 8, regardless of Windham ownership. That said, this lodging was perfectly acceptable for the price, considering this was graduation weekend in Chico, CA, where this Inn is located.
The location is very quiet, and for our stay, so were the guests, despite this being graduation weekend.
The bed was standard Windham; only three, pretty firm pillows per (comfy) mattress set. The rest of the room appointments are standard Sup8. HVAC was easy to control from the unit (no thermostat), was quiet and worked well (+++).
This was an accessibility designed room so the bathroom has a lot of space and someone could roll right into the shower in an appropriate chair. Shower has both standard and handheld shower head. Pressure was fine but in this room, they both flowed water- no selection. Plumbed shower head is too low. Better to cap that off and put a second hanger for the handheld up high enough so an average height person can stand under it.
Bath linens are really poor. My bath towel would rather roll up when wiped across my body than wick up water- I seriously considered using the terry bathmat to dry myself as the towel was so recalcitrant. Otherwise, no qualms. I was able to shower completely with very minimal issue.
Breakfast was standard Sup8. Coffee was hot and decent but...
THIS IS FOR WINDHAM, PUT IN ONE OF THOSE AWESOME, BREW-AS-YOU-DRAW coffee machines at this location and I would give a FIVE STAR RATING!

Don’t stay here!

After driving across 3 states I arrived at 8pm. I checked in and went and got something to eat. When I went to my room around 10pm I was immediately met with a very strong cigarette smell. Like chain smokers house kind of smell. I was exhausted and didn’t feel like moving rooms at that point. Even leaving the fan running all night didn’t help the smell.
I got up early the next morning to make the 9am deadline for breakfast. I should have just slept in. The breakfast room is tiny and people were lined up 10 deep for the one waffle maker. I went next door to Dennys and paid for a good breakfast.
Even if the room didn’t smell I would have been disappointed. Very dated and just gross. The towels were thin and stained.
And if this place has elevators they keep them hidden, I never did see any.
I thought this was a step up from Motel6 next door. I wish I would have stayed there!
