We always stay here when visiting family which is several times a year. Every time we are please with the room, the property, the staff, the continental breakfast and location. The bed and pillows are comfy, the room is quiet and nice to have the fridge, microwave and coffee maker. They have accommodated early check in. The ONLY negative is the coffee served at the breakfast and orange juice very watered down. 5 stars either way.
Richard
Breakfast was lacking gluten free options.
Connie
Terri was amazing. So helpful, cheerful, friendly!! The room was very nice as well. Was within walking distance of some nice restaurants and shops.
Nicole
Great! 👍
carri
Stayed here twice with grandson, specifically for the pool which was clean. Nice breakfast. Comfortable bed. Will stay again.
Martin
Everything about my short stay was GREAT!!! Terrie, or Teri, or Terie, ( I.m not sure on the spelling) made checking in and checking out fast, friendly, and informative! The room was clean and nicely appointed! The place was quiet and close to several resturants and even an ice cream shop! I would definitely stay here again!
Melody
The staff at the hotel were very nice and helpful. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the location downtown was great for walking around to restaurants and the Farmer's Market. The room was clean, but we had sugar ants that were a problem with keeping them out of our food. We had to hang our food in the closet.
Andrey
Great staff, clean room, recommend.
Jerry
I had a great stay at the Quality Inn in Chico and would definitely stay here again.
The free parking was convenient, and while I didn't take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, I appreciated that it was available. The location was one of the highlights. It's within easy walking distance of downtown, making it simple to explore the area without having to drive.
It was extremely hot during my visit, but the air conditioner did a good job keeping the room comfortable. It takes a little while to cool the entire room, so I'd recommend leaving it on while you're out. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the DirecTV service offered plenty of channels, including HBO, which was a nice bonus.
My only real complaint was the electrical outlet next to the sink, which had a very bright built-in night light that couldn't be turned off. I like to sleep in a completely dark room, so I ended up propping a pillow on the chair to block the light.
One thing to keep in mind if you're staying on a weekend is that the parking lot fills up later in the evening. If you plan on going out at night, you may want to walk or use a rideshare instead of moving your car. The good news is that the lot clears out by morning.
Overall, this was a comfortable, well-located hotel with convenient amenities, and I'd happily stay here again!

Albert
Everything was pretty good. When we were arrived, they had to check to see if a room we had booked was ready. We arrived a couple hours after the early check-in time, but there was a room available. The room was fine. No complaints. Beds were a little too firm for our preferences, but was fine.
susan
We stay here every time we come to see our grandchildren and it has always been a fabulous experience. We love the staff and everything they offer.
Adriana
The parking lot was crowded. The pool was small and bare. The breakfast was adequate. The rooms and beds and AC were very good. The staff was friendly
JASMIN
The room smelled bad. (smoke and dirty laundry and mold stench) unfortunately there were \"booked\" and couldnt be moved. This place needs upgrades. The chair had major wear and tear (ripes in on the chair) same with the headboard.
Teri
Always a great place to stay in Chico!
Joseph
thumbs up
Cris
Updated/modern rooms. Clean and great prices. Near many restaurants and downtown attractions. Pool was a little dirty but didn’t discourage from entering. Parking lot got full but attendant at front desk allowed parking under drop off area. All staff was very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Helpful friendly staff. Pipes and outside noise could be heard throughout the night.
Courtney
Front desk Gal was sooo great!
Howard
we arrived early and the staff was very accommodating to check us in early...
Location is pretty central on a \" main\" st, but quiet at night. Very comfortable bed.
This was our 2nd stay and will definitely be back.

Very nice accommodations, the only issue we encountered was not enough parking for everyone when the hotel is fully occupied.
Brett
Breakfast could use a little imagination, otherwise the staff was incredible and we enjoy our stays there.
demetra
Cute hotel w/clean spacious rooms. Nothing overly fancy but good amenities. Can have a bit of an “interesting” crowd outside but I guess that’s a function of location instead of the hotel
Samantha
Location is perfect!
Raymond
The breakfast was very sparse for this kind of hotel. Parking was very cramped and limited. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
Karyn
hotel was safe, breakfast food was fresh staff was fabulous only knock is hotel is older and there was a mild smell in room bed was great we had our own pillows

If a room is available, it is the best place to stay in chico. i have been doing so whenever i go back to visit, which has been several times a year for 18 years...
Marquitta
Staff was not pleasant. On the way to our room was a trail of blood that lead from the ground floor up to our room on the 2nd floor. Cleaning crew passed over multiple times and never cleaned it up. Our door was unlocked when we entered and the safe was broken. Very disappointed
Erin
Room and property was very clean. Parking wasn’t great but not a deal breaker. Overall a good experience!
Janelle
A solid hotel experience in a pretty noisy downtown area. I’d stay there again.
JAMES LAWRENCE
Parking is fine. Breakfast, would have like more of a selection.
Karen
Only place we stay in Chico when visiting our daughter

The new management has executed a very successful plan designed to make this motel very safe, clean, and welcoming. I was a little leery of the location when I reserved my room because I know downtown Chico, but I saw no indication of transients or undesirable elements. The breakfast was good, the room almost too clean (see explanation), and the staff very helpful. The only downsides were the smell of bleach when entering the room and a TV that I couldn't make work. Since I was able to open the window and air the room out, and I did not ask for help with the TV, I did not deduct a star, but I did let management know about both issues before I left. Most importantly, I would not hesitate to stay there again. When weighing quality with price, it is the best value in town!
Steven
Door lock had to be reprogrammed, toilet kept running, and a loud dripping noise coming from overhead which did not allow me to sleep. Maintenance never showed up to address any of these issues! The manager was nice, but overall, a terrible stay
Carrie
Great breakfast, clean room. Close to everything. Would suggest not having front desk clerk state room numbers out loud

Brooke
Parking was nice close to room door
Anisio
Relly nice ice cream place across the street. A bit rundown, but ok. Good location, walking distance to the CSU campus. Breakfast had no hot dishes, other than waffles.
NORITO
Clean room, little noisy at night. But safety area. Staffs are friendly.
Sean
Very nice rooms, perfect location and staff was friendly
Brett
Simply comfortable, decent rooms, and great location.
Christine
Front desk very nice, able to accommodate our request for a ground floor room. Easy walk to the cute ice cream shop across the street. Room was clean, bed was comfortable.
Heidi
Wonderful pillows, nice and quiet. Cheerful staff.
Casey
The room was very clean, front desk was so friendly and made me feel comfortable right away. The only thing I can complain about is there was no water in the vending machine. Pool was up and running and for being right next to a busy street, it was surprisingly quiet! Definitely would stay again.
Robert
The parking is tight but every guest will get a space. Breakfast was okay except, need some non-dairy milk/creamer. Front desk was pleasant, very polite and accommodating.
Maureen
Great motel.
E
Clean and safe. Staff was very friendly and informative.
Patti
I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I lived in Chico for a couple years have been gone for a couple years. Booked here not realizing where it's location was my bad. But turned out wonderful. I don't know when they did a update but the room I stayed in was very well appointed updated extremely clean I can't express enough how pleased I was. The staff was friendly and took care of my needs will stay again when necessary.
Helen
Staff was great, WiFi was slow, didn’t use much of amenities but would have loved a gym
Heidi

The room was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was big. The issue we had was parking. They don’t have enough spaces if the rooms are full. We have a nice SUV and this hotel is near the University. They suggested we park on the street; a very busy street. We had to park away from our room in a restaurant parking lot. We weren’t real happy!
Mark
Staff was friendly with a quick check in ,room was clean with a rain shower head enjoyed the stay

Keys kept not working but the front desk kept replacing them. Right away. Three different members , room was clean
Carol
The room was clean and looked exactly like the pictures - well maintenance and kept up. The hotel was quiet at night and the bed and pillows were comfortable. We will stay here again when we are in town.
Eri
Ever since the first time we stayed here at the time of touring the Chico campus, we've been very happy with this hotel. We love the unique wallpaper showing the beautiful Chico campus building. The room is always perfectly clean with absolutely no unpleasant odor like bleach some hotels use. The breakfast room is super clean as well with all the basics we need to start our day. This is definitely our go-to hotel in the area! P.S. The staff was kind enough to open the breakfast 5 minutes early as I was rushing out today!
Eileen
The room was spotless. Very curteous
Tori
Teri at the front desk was amazing! She was so helpful with our check in process! Room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Perfect walking distance to CSU Chico campus!
Sabryna
The building was very cute and well designed, the room was a little small but it was spotless and comfortable, and the staff were extremely kind and efficient.
kara
great location
Sarah
I only spoke with the front desk manager, she was lovely, polite, and very accommodating. The room surprised me, for the price range it was actually very clean. Newer carpet nothing made me feel like I needed to keep my shoes on or avoid the pillows. Actually the bed was super clean and so was the bathroom. The only thing was the curtains were kind of dingy and gross. Would stay again if in the area.
Tiffany
Everything was on point!
Gabriel
