I love Residence Inns and the Residence Inn in Chico followed suit with all of the other fabulous Residence Inns I've stayed at! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have a food allergy and at breakfast, that was also wonderful and so many options, there was a sign saying ask about their gluten free items. The staff member I spoke with was extremely helpful and packed me up a whole box of gluten free goodies to take! The room was also great, spacious and nice. The pool was wonderful, too! We would definitely stay here again next time we're in Chico!
Rivka
Staff are exceptional- thay go above and beyond. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Patricia
Very clean room and great staff. Our AC went out, and they moved us. Breakfast was also good.
Mandy
This afternoon meeting the rooms are cleaning the breakfast is the best breakfast I've ever had at a motel with the best place I've ever been to
Carlos
The A/C and the refrigerator were extremely noisy. We had to turn them off entirely to reconcile our sleep and opened the windows for ventilation but we could still hear the neighbors A/C’s. The carpet is smelly too. The staff on the other hand are very friendly and helpful.
Sheri
The staff welcoming was polite and courteous. The breakfast staff did a great job with my nephew who made a big mess, stayed polite and helped him with his waffle and even suggested chocolate chips in it. Huge Kudos!
Melissa
Very clean, quiet area, easily accessible to freeway
William
Great place to stay friendly staff clean rooms
Chirika
The room was nice and the front desk staff was helpful to ensure I got connected with wifi or business work.

This Has Been One of The Best Stays ever in a hotel !! Im A Caterer and im always having to rent an air bnb for catering jobs but they dont have a pool .Ladies and gentlemen if u are in the Chico area for a catering event I Highly recommended The Residence Inn for your stay and prep ,and enjoy a lil u time while working .
Julie
Outdoor pool needs to be heated… I get it that Chico is usually warm, however, it needs to be heated when it’s NOT warm in Chico, which it wasn’t that warm the weekend we were there. The hot tub was GREAT!
Dennis
The staff was great. The room was very noisy. Hard to sleep. Heater comes on very loud. Breakfast quality of only fair but ok considering the large number of people who had to be fed and the price of the room.
Sue
The front desk employees were wonderful, very friendly and welcoming. Julian was especially engaging and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable.
Paige

Kevin
Room very clean , Staff very curtious , all other amenities where exceptional we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends and family.
Chris
The room stunk. The front room and kitchen smelled strongly of chemical and the bedroom and bathroom smelled like sewer.
jean
Nice place to stay
Brenda
Super friendly atmosphere, clean and safe, awesome breaksfast.

nice hotel 2 bedroom and two bathroom
Rebecca
Overall the hotel was very nice. But we checked out a night early because the room had an odd smell to it and it was over bearing. We told the front desk but no solution was offered. They just checked us out. So, paying $300/night and leaving early because of this and paying for another hotel somewhere else made the experience not the best.
CARRIE
Conveniently located to the highway and the road to Paradise. So nice toto stay in a large room with space to spread out. The front desk staff is personable and friendly. Very comfortable place. veryhave a room Wirth
Lawrence Wayne
Great room. Staff was attentive and the hotel was a life saver in the 105 heat.
Jorge
We stayed for 2 days. The facilites are nice.
When we walked into our room everything looks clean. The sofa bed wasn’t ready and we didn’t have the sheets. The mattress looked old and stained.
On the following day, we went to have breakfast with the family. Around 12:35 pm we came back to our room and surprisingly the room was not clean, neither the bed and the sofa bed were done. Everything looked lithe same when we left the room to have breakfast with the family.
I went downstairs to talk to the person at the reception and I asked him why the room wasn’t clean, he respond that he didn’t know. I asked him politely to send house keeping and he said that they were gone for the day. He didn’t offer any answer nor options to my problem.
Very disappointing. Stay away from that hotel. Very poor service

I liked how quick they responded to sn issue. The property could have repaired things better. Replacing things rather than gluing. Both times have stayed, bathrooms were less than average.

Great workers, great place, maybe keep the pool area cleaner and add an umbrella

Great hotel & staff!
All staff from the phone call I made ahead to the ones we encountered while there where so nice. The hotel was clean, roomy & comfy! The only downfall was road noise, but that absolutlely wouldn't stop me from staying here again!
jan
Bathroom sink and tub could use an upgrade.

Coffee pot was corroded, sofa bed was torn and broken down, tub was unclean, pots and pans were filthy and one had food in it.
Dianne
Maid did t clean my room and I was there 5 days!!! Cold coffee at breakfast. Never took out my trash. I did it everyday
JoAnne
The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. We were there for an organized bike ride and they opened the free breakfast an hour early to accommodate all the cyclists. The breakfast had a wide variety of options, including healthy ones! The coffee was great too! There were even fresh berries. As we were doing the ride the next day, we asked if they would store our luggage to keep it safe. They instead offered us late check-out until 2pm! We were able to return to our room and shower before driving home (after being rained on during our ride). We could not be more grateful to have the room late. We will absolutely stay again and told the ride organizers how wonderful the hotel was. Thank you.

Paper thin ceiling
I was supposed to stay at the Residence Inn which I booked months ago but the Wednesday before my Friday visit I was walked to the hotel next door. Wish they had not done that, great service there but ceiling is paper thin. The guests above me kept me awake starting 3am walking around, heard every excruciating sound.
Betty
Disappointing stay.
Specifically chose this hotel because it had a pool and hot tub, but both were closed due to repairs. The breakfast was limited on the second day of our stay due to a broken hot plate. Never could get my laptop to connect to the internet. Very disappointing stay.
Whitney
Meh.

Always a nice experience at this hotel. The staff are great and always helpful, even late at night. Convenient out of the way location with easy access to town.

The rooms are very big and very quiet. The breakfast was great, especially for our kids. We really enjoyed the pool and the staff were very attentive. Overall, an excellent stay.
Elizabeth
Wouldn’t stay again
We have traveled across the country for the past 3 weeks staying at hotels along the way. This was hands down the worst value for the cost. This hotel is very outdated, dingy, and just gross. We had an ant infestation in our room. The carpets in the room and throughout the hotel were gross and stained. The walls and doors covered in stains and dirts finger prints. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would not stay here and again and would not recommend it.
Sandra
The A/C was amazing! Room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable!
Tamara
I liked everything. Especially the morning breakfast choices.

Family trip. Easy, good location and we requested quiet side from the freeway and received it. Very quiet!! Nice to have
Tami
Was in an easy to get to location.
Nice room but a few problems.
One of the bedroom closet doors was stuck, wouldn't slide at all and there was zero body wash in the pump.
I loved that we could open the windows for fresh air. And that we had an entire kitchen! Lots of room.
Cool decor except the weirdest sofa I've ever seen. Comfortable beds.

Leonard
Water line to toilet leaked and caused a puddle on the bathroom floor. No manager or maintenance was available on the weekend! I had to put a bucket under the leaky valve and tighten fitting myself. This seemed unacceptable to me considering the cost of the room.
MARY
Very friendly and accommodating staff
JILL
Ok to sleep in briefly
Bed was comfortable and room was clean, but door was very tight to turn and made getting in and out hard. Shower head was loose and kept moving when showering without frequent adjusting, breakfast has selection but taste of hot food not so great. No overview of the place when we shared we were first time visitor.
Sylvia
Unexpected trip
Great customer service, easy to check in. Great communication.

It was very spacious

A Christmas Story!
Clean, comfortable, friendly, and safe. Everything we wanted for a three night stay. A special kudos to the staff who worked Christmas. I hope corporate appreciates their dedication.
Alejandro
Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Wonderfully pleasant staff

Noisy with a cup of bad coffee
The check in was fast and easy, however the room they gave us was right next to the freeway off ramp. 25/8 traffic noise complete with nightly lights and sirens!
Breakfast wasn't great. I would bring your own coffee for the room it was pretty bad.
Room would have been rated higher if it were in a different location.

When I checked in Friday night tv didn’t work. They didn’t know how to fix. They came up to room about 30-40 min and tried to fix. Then trouble shoot.
Next morning I called because the night before they said it would be fixed. I was in meeting all the next day, I called 2 times to see if it was fixed and no one knew anything about it after checking with the front desk before I left that morning.
Came back to hotel went to room not fixed.
Front desk said to mov rooms. I am by myself she brought me a new room key and didn’t help me move rooms at 9 pm at night

We found old dog feces in the spare sheets for the pull out.

Property is clean and staff is nice. Suite size misrepresented—we booked for 5, but suite was really only sufficient for 3, 4 at the most. There were insufficient linens and bedding; when we asked for Extra blankets, we were told that there were none available—we were freezing cold all night. Also, no hot water for shower.
Disappointing for price. I go to Chico often to visit family, but will try other places before I book at this place again.

Bed bug, large urine stain on mattress. Staff was professional and breakfast bar was clean and well maintained.

Nice place. A little pricy for being in chico but a nice place

The property said that it was pet friendly which is why I booked it. I paid top dollar for an average hotel at nearly $400 for the night and then upon check in, they charged me an extra $100 for a non-refundable pet fee. I felt that it was too much and it was not expected.

The entrance/Office does not stand out as the entrance.

Employees where nice and accommodating specially the manager Cassie they took care of us over the phone and in person! Thank you all!

Please update bathroom
Please , please update the bathrooms. The bathtub seemed very unsafe with the slope. You could do better with your breakfast as well. The oranges look like lemons!

We stayed here after experiencing car troubles on our way from Oregon to Arizona and needing somewhere to stay while waiting for the dealership to open. The room met our needs due to the size and layout, however it was the front desk representatives that stood out. These ladies were doing the job of 3 people acting as typical check-in/check-out support, purveyor of food and beverage and mask/sanitizer enforcer. Additionally, one in particular (name unknown) went above and beyond to help me bridge the gap between checkout time and when

Not a Bad Stay but I Wont Pay more than $150 per n
Rooms were clean. No breakfast and pool was closed do to Covid. Room is next to freeway off ramp. Windows do a good job of keeping most of the noise out. You can still hear some loud vehicles.

Our time there was during the pandemic, so some service was limited. Overall the hotel is great.

Very clean property and super comfortable . Definitely worth every penny.

The hotel is over priced for what it is and needs to be cleared. Marks all over the doors and just seemed dirty. Staff was nice. Room was clean

Chose courtyard next store
Pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable. We were excited to use the pool and jacuzzi but the pool was freezing and jacuzzi out of order. If I knew that I would have stayed somewhere else. Breakfast was not great either it’s too bad because we’ve stayed at other locations and they’ve been on point.
Matt
Nice place, safe location, friendly staff, good breakfast - everything we had hoped for!
