This was a short overnight stay thank goodness! The room seemed clean, bed was comfortable, our pets were accepted, but was very little space to walk them. Other than that, the property is not well maintained, carpets were dirty. We probably would stay elsewhere next time.

This is a great, well maintained property and we were very pleased with the room. It is an excellent bargain. The only downside was the breakfast offering. 2 types of cereal, instant oatmeal, and coffee. We will definitely come back!

I have stayed at the Jefferson Inn numerous times over the past five years. I have always found it to be a very good value. They provide all of the basics. Bed, tv, bathroom, etc., meet my needs very well. On one visit, I left my driver's license at the motel, and they mailed it to me. I will stay there again. Parking is very convenient. There are places nearby to eat and get gas.

The complimentary breakfast was pretty much nonexistent. It was simply coffee, no milk, only powdered creamer. Juice and cereal - only fruit loop and Cheerios. That’s it. No fruit or yogurt or even toast.

Easy hotel to find, parking is ample, restaurants nearby, everything was clean. If I absolutely had to give a complaint, it would be that when my mom asked for an extra pillow, the lady at the desk was a little reluctant, but eventually did give her one. Otherwise, our stay was very pleasant.

I have to say, although the furniture was aged some, my room was excellent. Everything was extra clean and neat. Even the curtains looked like they had just been bought and installed. The bathroom was spotless, bed linens looked like new ones they were so clean and crisp.. Only problem I had was the power wasn't enough to charge my phone...thought it was my charger, but got another one and it was the same. and it seems that the water pressure was cut down at night. Toilet wouldn't even flush a tissue, last, their drink machine and snack machine neither one worked at all.
But they still get 4 star for cleanliness and being super friendly

The room smelled really bad and the bedding did not seem very clean. There were questionable men at the end of the hall by our room, smoking and drinking beer with the door propped open with a bucket. There was no breakfast. My key cards did not work. We were traveling from NJ to Tennessee and chose this hotel based on the great reviews and high rating. We would have moved on but were exhausted and it was only $15 to have our dog in the room with us.

The curtains were falling down, there peep hole in the door was drilled out with a piece of duct tape, the battery in the smoke detectors were missing, the vents were filthy, something sounded like it was crawling in the walls and it smells so bad of smoke i was sick to my stomach. I left immediately due to the condition.

Property has bugs, bed sheets stained. Watering running in bathrrom that doesnt shut off. We were booked to stay 2 nights but voided transaction and moved to a different hotel. Was offered to switch rooms but if there is bugs(roaches and more) in one room to the extent that was in that roomthen they would be in all rooms. Hotel definitely needs to be renovated and pest control!

Location is safe and affordable. We will be staying here again. Key card reader is worn out so you have to slide the card a few times to make it work. There was some grease in the tub that wasn’t cleaned up and the tub had some spots that needed touch up paint, but nothing that would prevent us from staying again. Mattress firmness was a medium. Sheets were clean. No bugs. Friendly staff. Short drive to Sevierville, TN.

The bed kept falling apart. The removable shower head was left on so when you turned the water on water sprayed all over the bathroom floor, not good for a HANDICAPPED room. Fridge was dirty. The back door that requires a key card was propped open all night (safety concerns). The vending machines only take cash (dollar bills to be specific), get up to date machines! Front desk clerk was argumentative about the fact that we’ve never been charged a pet fee there in the past. Floors have dips in them under the carpet, not sure what that’s all about. It’s just okay for a nights stay but I’m not sure I’d be happy there for a few days. Seems to have gone down in quality over the years that we’ve been staying there while visiting.

TV didn’t work. The carpet in the room was filthy. The people in the room next to me complained that the bathroom fan in my room was so loud it woke them up. The bed was very uncomfortable. Definitely not an 8/10. 4/10 Max.

My husband and I were disappointed that there was no elevator on the premises. It should be noted in the listing for Expedia, etc. Not handicap accessible. Also, the bed pillows were very worn and soiled. I asked for replacements on these, as they were not suitable to sleep on. There was no soap in the bathroom. Back of hotel in parking lot needed maintenance.

One thing that I wish were more clear in the property details is that they have *no elevator*. Even though I've got a bad knee, thankfully the stairs were tolerable, but I can see the lack of an elevator being a real deal breaker for some. That detail needs to be displayed in glowing, flashing text or something.

It might also be time to upgrade the door locks on the rooms. Rarely could I get the door to open with the first swipe of the card. Most times it took several swipes at different speeds (usually slower) to finally get it to open.

Worst motel I've been in! We were scheduled for 2 nights, left after first only because they'd only refund 2nd night. Had no bottom sheet, just a sheet placed over mattress pad, pillows were about 2\"thick and one was ripped with stuffing coming out of a ripped pillowcase. Was so dirty you could write your name in the dirt and hair dryer was literally falling off wall becausecit was only held on by 1 screw.

This property was listed as an 8. Which is my reason for giving a poor review.
It is not an 8, more like a 5.
There is no breakfast, a little cheap cereal.
The coffee was not good with powdered creamer.
We had to move because the AC did not work.
The whole place smelled old and musty with really worn carpet and lingering smell of cigarette smoke in the halls.
The comforters were old and worn, one had a cigarette burn.
The TVs were good. The second room tv remote needed someone savvy with controls to figure it out.
Just saying.
The shower was clean with good water pressure.
But the shower curtain smelled moldy.
Ugh.
Will not stay again.

Cheap and the Air conditioning works… that’s about all that I could say was could be nice… front of the side table was ripped off, hallways stuck if smoke, dirty over all. I have never slept with all of my clothes on and kept my hood up so my head didnt touch the bed. I think I would have been better sleeping in my car. Oh and there were stink bugs EVERYWHERE. I can’t explain how bad they were!! I don’t recommend

Co2 (air quality) was 1223ppm on morning since there was no ERV or way to open window. Most hotels since Covid have installed ERVs (or as minimum have operable windows). Co2 dropped to 853ppm with bathroom exhaust fan running constantly. Nice hotel for overnight stay, allow boat/trailer parking and EV charging (trickle on 120V).

The lady at the front desk is very rude. The app itself doesn’t take the full amount of money so you have to pay when you get there which I was unaware of. Then to top things off it says dogs allowed however the lady at the front desk failed to tell us there was a fee for dogs then proceeded to call our room about the fee mind you it was only 15$ and we had no problem paying it we just didn’t know as the app doesn’t tell you nor allow you to pay it ahead of time. She watched us on camera like a hawk even though we did nothing wrong. This was by far the worst experience. We also had to move rooms after paying the dog fee since we had a dog and people with dogs get different rooms. Mind you we had all our stuff including the dinner we had just went out and got in the previous room already so it was a pain.

Co2 was high at 1425ppm but leaving the bath fan on brought it down to 825ppm. A ERV brings it to 600-800ppm or opening a window (but windows are sealed). Able to trickle charge my EV off 120V outside outlet near pool. If staying a couple nights, could fully charge. Good boat parking Mark

The first room we were given the key didn’t work. Clerk came tried to reprogram door mechanism. As soon as door opened the musty smell was overpowering. I mentioned it and she immediately changed our room and went and got a new key for it. It wasn’t nearly as strong smelling as the first and the lock worked.

My hubby went to this area for work for 4 days with his crew and this motel was about a mile from job. Many restaurants very close by. Close to the interstate. Black out curtains were a huge plus. It was quiet and great parking for work trailer and truck. He said staff was professional and accommodating. It isn't a fancy place but it was clean and efficiently managed, which is what is most important!!

We parked at the back with our trailer. The back entrances were propped open. (???) The carpet was worn and well, filthy. But the room carpet was much better and the room and bathroom were properly clean.
Smallest coffee cups on the planet in the lobby.
No coffee in the room.
Not my worst hotel stay, but def not my best. But it accomodated our needs with our pooches, too.

Decent room, terrible breakfast.

I scheduled a last-minute overnight when I was caught in a terrible thunderstorm with tornado watches. Late check-in was no problem, and they accommodated my request for a first floor room. The room was clean, and had a large dorm-sized fridge and microwave. Great value. My only complaint is that the \"continental\" breakfast they advertised was terrible. It consisted of coffee, juice, 2 types of dry cereal, milk, and a few packets of instant oatmeal. To me, that's NOT a continental breakfast at all! There were no bread products, danish, donuts, yogurt, eggs, meat, waffles, pancakes, or fruit. I left and had to buy breakfast on the road....which I didn't expect to need to do.

The hotel had a very stale smell to it. The lady at the check it asked me multiple times if I smoked. After stating no 3 times I guess she finally believed me. The “continental breakfast” was the biggest disappointment. It only offered great value oatmeal (which really was fine, I guess), fruit loops and Cheerios. Except, the milk was in a mini fridge in a small plastic pitcher with barely any milk in it. They offered apple juice and orange juice out of the machine that most hotels offer. However, they both were not very cold and tasted spoiled. When we didn’t have enough milk for us to eat what little they had there was NO ONE around for us to see if they had more somewhere. I looked at the reviews of this hotel before booking but for $57 +taxes I didn’t expect too much but dang. The hot water for the oatmeal was not even hot. I wish I took pictures!
