Way, way overpriced considering the rooms are very tired. Food by pool a hit or a miss. Smoothies not cold. My pet hate, a shower over the bath which was hard to get in and out of. However, the nicest staff ever.

The hotel was showing its age and the area around it is very noisy and tasteless, but the staff at the hotel were all very lovely and extremely professional, and this more than offset any negative aspects of our stay. The restaurant is excellent and it was a pleasure to sample many of the dishes from their a la carte menu. Bravo!

This hotel was amazing. The buffet breakfast was amazing. They even had a crepe station. The coffee was very good too.
The beds were comfortable and pillows large and amazing. The vathtowels were large and fluffy. Air conditioning in our room was icy cold.

The pools were nice and deep, very clean and there were lots of pool lounges.
There is entertainment every night. I would definitely recommend the Niksoma.

I expected more!

We arrived late at night, but we had not hot water. Beds were very comfy. Hotel not on beach, it’s across the very busy beach. In the morning still no hot water… and staff did not really apologize for us having to take cold showers… I felt like they didn’t really care.

Its a beautiful property with good amenities, close to everything and the food was superb.
However when they know we are yhere on business not a holiday we should be put up the back away from the music which was unbelievably loud, that loud we could not even hear the TV in our room, this was a real turn off for us and a shame. Would definitely visit again for a holiday but would not stay there again when we have to go over for business.

I recently enjoyed a 6 night stay. The property has beautiful lush gardens and all of the staff are very happy, polite and helpful.

The buffet breakfast is all you could want, with many different options to choose from.

Pool towels were included, which is fabulous but I wasn't aware, and I packed my own from home. Perhaps this could be advised at the time of booking. Pool towels can't be taken to the beach, so you still may need to bring your own from home.

My bed was king size with 4 of the softest and largest pillows - sleeping was just beautiful.

Rooms were sprayed each evening for insects and beds turned down.

Rooms were freshened each morning with clean towels, bins emptied and bed changed as required.

The rooms are starting to feel like a renovation could soon be needed.

The free nightly entertainment was fantastic in the outside dining area, with undercover available for the entertainers in the rainy season.

The Triple Trouble band with Tigor Sihombing (lead singer) playing on Monday nights were just amazing. Tigor was a recent X Factor Indonesia finalist.
It's a shame they didn't play more than just once a week because they're so good. They play at Tipsy Tortoise on Fridays, so I went to see them again (very close by). Management - book them to play more than one night a week!

I had a few different minor issues in my room but everything was actioned immediately, and my stay was good.

Thanks to management for a great hotel, highly recommended.

Our overall stay at the hotel was good. This place offered service, a clean room that needs a little bit of updating. Nice pool. Breakfast is average, nothing special. We only ate at the hotel during our short break and became sick 😫. Vomiting isn't pleasant.
However, the location is not that great either. Do your research regarding the surroundings and cleanliness. This hotel is nice, but area is not.

Pros: Staff go above & beyond. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast enjoyable.
Staff member Mini is professional and attentive.

Cons: Niksoma is disappointing. Requires a serious upgrade and renovation for the price. The junior suites don’t deserve the room category “suite”. Old. Dated. The toilet holder fell off the wall. The Venetian blinds don’t close properly. The stick for blinds fell off. Requested another room (classic room). Better but still old. Drawers did not close properly. Fireworks early hours woke everyone up. As did the cats that screeched all night. Certain hand towels were grey. Not white. PLEASE RETIRE THESE. Not “hotel” standard. How can you give these to guests. They look like rags. This is a 2-3 star property at best. The pool is very deep. All sides. Both ends. No one can stand up in this pool. No one. Not enjoyable. Wine glasses brought to room as room service request were dirty. Each day same. I would not return here. Not even for free. There a better hotels around for similar price. Don’t chase beachfront when your stay is compromised with low hotel standards. The staff are not to blame. But renovation and life-cycle maintenance have been severely ignored. The hot water system had a maintenance issue which left guests without hot water. Having a semi cold shower was the end for me. Don’t bother with this one. You can thank me later.

Lessons Learnt: Think like a hotel guest. ALWAYS.
Review standards or lower your room rate to under $100 a night.

A paradise in otherwise congested outside world

Hotel was everything we were hoping for based on others reviews. Unfortunately, we learned that the hotel will be closing sometime in 2025 for a complete renovation. I hope the staff can survive during this process because they make this place special. There is a lot of congestion in Bali but once back to this hotel you feel relaxed.

Ordinary and tired looking hotel.

We chose hotel to be close to airport prior to departing Bali and to enjoy beach time. Our room was very ordinary and the sea view was through trees and buildings. Bathroom was very dated and high tub difficult to get in and out.
The service, as in rest of Bali, was very good. The breakfast offered had good choices. There is outdoor dinning and two large pools.

The property is in a very accessible location. The staff are very helpful and only too willing to please. The room we stayed in was outdated and not what I had expected. It was no different to some of the cheaper hotels we have stayed in, and was disappointing.
There was a lot of stairs and wouldn't recommend the property that requires disability access. There were no lifts.
Food at the hotel was lovely however breakfast did not have a large variety.

Located in a more calm, safer and lovely section along the beach. Solo traveler will feel safe, comfy and well tended to by super friendly staff. Every single staff member attempts to cater to making a super fab vaca ! Loved my room w huge pillows on a big comfy bed. Loved the suitcase bench, closet w safe for lovely organization. Property kept clean and tidy all day long. Loved eating here for breakfast and dinner. Nice outdoor patios overlooking the ocean views and hotel grounds/pools were relaxing and wonderful to view while eating. Wide selection for breakfast of hot items plentiful. Personally I loved omelette bar and the fresh pastries. Pleasantly surprised that the pastries rivaled easily those I ate in France last summer 👏. Delicious coffee options come w breakfast. I loved the lattes ! I enjoyed walks in both morning and sunset down the beach 🏖️. Walk in one direction and beach continues as quiet and serene. Go the other way along the water about 20min and you can spy on the young people having a fun blast by the more mega hotels. This more classy boutique style Hotel offers nightly free entertainment as an option while dining or having a drink. Visit the super private and secluded hotel spa. I literally ordered almost all the treatments via a 3 hr session. Therapist made this an ultra treat. The bill was actually 1/5 the cost in USA. The hotel def gave me my monies worth. I usually do not write reviews unless I feel I was blessed by an experience 😇❣️👏

Great location as there is a little back gate that takes you straight to the hustle and bustle of massages, restaurants, shops. Simply amazing. The only constructive feedback I could give about the rooms and the restaurant is the chairs scrape a lot. They just need a little bit of felt under each leg just to make it less noisy and stop the scraping noise especially when sleeping at night.
