This was our sixth stay at Bali Mandira, and as before, we were not disappointed. A clean hotel with a beautiful garden and extremely friendly staff. Right on the beach, but also with a lovely pool and a relaxing garden area. We're saying goodbye and hope to return next year.

Room was clean but dated and had an ant infestation in the bathroom. The rock shower area was a treat. Overall though, the room was not very spacious for a couple with a baby. We loved the club lounge afternoon tea and the breakfast options at the club restaurant on the beach side. The beach pool and water slides were also fantasic for our family (our 1.5yr old loved the sand toys!). It was a convenient location for walking the streets and beach access.

Incredible service and amazing staff! From housekeeping, to warm greetings in the morning at breakky, everyone was so accomodating and welcoming. The room was always pristine cleaned, the pool and waterslides were awesome! Well kept facilities and the kids club was also amazing! I can’t wait to come back! Thank you to all the wonderful kind staff at the Bali Mandira, you made our first trip to Bali one to remember ☺️

Comfortable bed, not too hard like many Bali hotel beds. Pleasant and well maintained grounds. Well designed and pleasantly decorated room.
Breakfast dining area could do with brightening up and buffet a bit below what I expected for the rates. Kartika was considerably better with regards to food and beverage for similar price range, especially breakfast buffet.

We were a little disappointed with the Breakfast food the selection was limited. We were offered complimentary lunch due to works at the resort this food was very limited in choice and we had to pay for water to drink with our lunch. Our room was very clean and the staff in all areas we friendly and very efficient.

We spent seven nights here. We had the best time. All the staff were so friendly and helpful. The pool and swim up bar were fabulous, the cocktails were delicious. We ate at the resort for lunch or dinner most days and there was a huge selection of different dishes to try. Thank you so much to all the beautiful staff. We will be back again!

Amazing Stay at Mandira Beach Resort & Spa, Bali!
Our experience at Mandira Beach Resort & Spa was nothing short of incredible. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality and stunning views. The beachfront location is perfect, and the resort grounds are beautifully maintained with lush gardens and peaceful vibes throughout.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and very comfortable — we especially loved the tropical touches and thoughtful amenities. The pools were a highlight, especially the infinity pool with ocean views. The breakfast spread was generous and delicious every morning, and the on-site spa left us feeling completely relaxed and pampered.

Every staff member we encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely caring. They made our stay feel extra special. Whether you're looking to unwind, explore Bali, or enjoy luxury by the beach, Mandira is the perfect choice. We can’t wait to return

The Resort was amazing! The room seemed new, clean and modern. The staff were lovely along with the room service attendants who were great! Facilities were clean and safe, the pool was perfect with a swim up bar and great for the kids with fun waterslides. Will definitely be visiting again.

The bungalows need a revamp. Unfortunately the staff don’t think who may be adjoined to an elderly or single couple so you are awake with children crying for 2 hrs at midnight or 6.00am in the morning . Breakfast is chaotic with similar vibes of kids running amok not nice smooth vibes of eating experience . Staff want to take plates before you finished eating . Pool is for kids really - always cloudy water even though they give you a reading g which is dubious . I’m thinking plenty of urine in the water as lots of families . Everyone needs a holiday families and couples , maybe a different hotel for couples would be suitable . Also not enough umbrellas with beds around pool . Staff were pleasant and helpful and admin staff were sympathetic to the situation but overall 6/10 for me …..

This is definitely the worst hotel we’ve stayed in so far. We were made to wait nearly an hour for check in because there had been a mix up with our booking.(there side not mine) They were trying to make me pay again when I had proof I had paid even showing them the receipt.

The room was shocking and very outdated and they said they had given us an upgrade so I would have hated to see what we were actually going to get if it wasn’t for the mix up.

We were placed right next to the dining area so was woken up around 5.30am to the sounds of plates rattling as they were preparing for breakfast.

Overall a very poor experience from start to finish and I can assure you I would never stay there again. There is far better hotels around the area !!

Staff were absolutly wonderful. The gardens, pools and dinning/bar areas were well kept and attractive. The rooms are a bit tired and that seems to be the case accross the island and is not a reason to avoid. The rooms were a good size. The partially open air shower was large and felt like a bit of luxury.
We had two issues that were fixed by maintenace very quickly, with great service.
I recommend a stay at this resort.

Lovely property. We stayed on the cottage and could not fault it. Lovely & clean. Great aircon. A title noisy with the guests next door & on the floor above but the room itself was fabulous. Staff are lovely. , pool and restaurant are great. Adults only pool was good but couldn’t get a chair so only stayed there for a short while to admire the view.
Great property for families with younger kids.

We had a wonderful experience at Bali Mandira. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and tidy, and the pools were excellent. We also booked a tour and our guide Dodo was so knowledgeable and kind. The food and cocktails weren’t quite as good as surrounding restaurants but not bad either. Highly recommend!

We go every year and stay in a club room. While its always a nice stay there have been some noticeable cut backs. We no longer get a fruit basket (no big deal) or a nice welcome back message in flowers on our bed. Other then that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The club rooms are very nice with a unique bathroom that at first sight looks like it is part of a cave (but very niice).

Bali Mandira was a great place to stay. It had a great pool and waterslide which my kids really enjoyed. The breakfast spread was huge, and we thoroughly enjoyed the breadth of choices available . My son enjoyed the kids club. It was very close to shopping offerings , dining options and spas - which we benefitted from. If your coming to Bali with younger children, do consider Bali Mandira for your stay.

The Mandira is a great hotel. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The pool area was designed with areas for everyone eg small children and adults. The buffet breakfast had an extensive range of hot and cold food, and an egg chef. If I had to pick a point for improvement I would say some of the rooms are a bit dated and perhaps could do with a renovation.

Our stay was fantastic, the pool area was great the grounds were fantastic,
Only thing I would say is that the room we were in did not have a ramp access so we would have to carry the pram up stairs to even get to a lift which is not great.

Another thing is there is no balcony in some rooms so you would need to dry wet clothes inside.

Location was fantastic and staff was also great, breakfast each morning was also very good menu changes every day and very good variety

Really enjoyed our stay for a family wedding. All staff were friendly and amenities were great. Did have a long delay checking in however this was due to people before us trying to haggle a price and unprepared. Concierge were very apologetic and tried to help where possible. This was literally the best hotel I have stayed at in all of bali . If you’re going to go on a trip, splash the dollars and get the private club Villa. You are treated like a queen everyone is so so kind and pleasant the room and the private pool is immaculate. Breakfast Buffet was so good. And you’re right in the heart of all the fun in the city. The beach club is so fun there was fireworks every night. Big thank you to Jessica at reception who was so lovely and gave me extra time to pack and My cleaner Auditya Such a sweetheart. I will definitely be returning!

We spent 9 days in Bali Mandira with our 2 teenage children. The facility is centrally located at the heart of Legian Beach. It is clean and has a great atmosphere surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff are friendly and tentative. The restaurants also serve great food. Highly recommended.

I stayed in April 2024. There were many aspects about the resort I liked. The Glow Spa was amazing, the staff are wonderful and the food at the beach club is excellent. The breakfast probably needs to expand in it's range of choice. The signs around the pool of 'no glass' become unenforceable when the pool bar sells bottles of beer and alcohol. My room was nice but I had an issue with a family of cats and kittens living on there outside shower roof (room 404) that woke me up every morning at 5.00am. When I passed this onto the front desk I am not sure what was done but they were not removed.
