I booked this property last minute because the hotel I was at previously was horrendous. Everyone was very nice & helpful. The room seemed clean. HOWEVER, when I woke up, there were ants all over my bed and on me. There were HUNDREDS of them. I’m not sure why they showed up because I didn’t have any food in the room. They were also ALL over my luggage. The worse part was when I discovered them in my under garment bag. It was disgusting. Also the room smelled like cigarettes throughout the night.

it will not allow me to post pictures of just how filthy this room was.. first room was full of ants.. yes it's tropical but at least spray once in while. 2nd room was so grossly filthy mold in the shower was the worst i have ever seen in my travels .. we left and did not stay. lesson learned.

I know that sometimes other travelers have different experiences, but I seriously think people have to think about what they paid for before putting up negative reviews.

We were greeted by helpful staff and the room had everything we needed for the time we were there. No one could argue about the location... it’s right in the middle of the main part of Legian.

If you want a view, book a room with a garden or ocean view in a hotel that has one and pay for that privilege. Don’t expect a window overseeing anything exciting from the middle of a main road!

The location was excellent. The room and bed itself was very comfortable and bathroom fantastic. I couldn’t believe i had such a great room at such a low price. The only downfall was that it was pretty noisy most nights from my room for various reasons - not from the street noise which was quiet. I otherwise totally recommend it, particularly for solo ppl on a budget.

The stay was ok rooms reasonably clean stay on my own was ok. Didn't get the room I booked that didn't bother me to much I know its a budget hotel but at least a kettle. But the worst thing of all was the towels got there looked like old dish rags grey old was hoping next day that would change each day same old grey ( think was white at some time ). Would I stay there again on my own yes just take your own towel.

Great location at a (very) affordable price

Awesome location, close to good food, massages and not too noisy.

Toilet was really spacious too.

If I really want to be a critic, it’d be that the floor is a little sticky and there are insects flying in from the toilet window.

Apart from that, we really enjoyed the convenience and the space.

I have stayed here many times and always happy. But this trip the place has been terrible the sheets and towels were grey and badly stained. Very noisy and nothing done about it. The front desk staff are very helpful and go out if way to help. The place urgently needs new linen. New curtains. And paint Such a shame for us.

Simple and basic hotel facilities are present. However, bath towel appeared old and dirty, so did not use them. Only soap for shower is provided, no tooth brush, tooth paste and hand soap. Breakfast is disappointing, suggest to eat out instead. Staff were helpful though, able to borrow scissors and hair dryer that were not present.

I have stayed at Loft brand hotel before in other countries and expecting the same reasonable standard. We were given room 506, which was at a corner and thought nothing of it. First night, we discovered blood stain on the quilt and requested for a change. The towels were full of stain and didn’t feel clean. Second night, we heard sounds, unsure if it was from the ac unit or the pump room. As we were too exhausted with the whole day of trekking and water activities, we managed to sleep through. Third night was the breaking point, as the sound was tremendously loud and it was around 3 an. That was when we realised our room was next to the stairway to the pump room above us. The worst happened when I flushed the toilet as the water turned black. They clearly had issues with the water pump and noticed that the water supply had been cut off. The duty manager was not even around the reception and we had to deal with the technician who was trying to deal with the problem. The ac unit was leaking as well as we noticed water droplets on the floor. I’m just stunned to know that this hotel is just over five years old. Breakfast was terrible and my opinion, staff was not properly trained. I had to check in into another hotel for the other two nights as I do not want to ruin the family’s holiday.
The reviews which I’ve read were either misleading or untrue about this hotel or possibly, change of management. This property should not be classified as a hotel standard.

In need of some windows and natural lighting

No natural lighting as the small window looked inside not outside .,,with no real windows it might have contributed to the poor circulation. The room smelled like it never dried out. Moldy and musty. The sheets were stained and the lights were dim. And there were bugs. But the building looked modern and updated and my room was quiet

Fair but can improve more on service and amenities

Got a lot of negative thing like
1.the receptionist in the night twice I requested aomething always says no and nothing.for instance I asked adaptor because the room can only be used with circle plug he said nothing (atleast suggest option
2.i asked for iron he said nothing but when I asked again in the morning the lady receptionist send me immediately(he can actually tel me its not available only in the morning.

Other thing I would like to suggest maybe u can put some kettle in the room.Not necessarily a coffee because its a budget hotel . But kettle would be an extra points.

Staff are really friendly and helpful, 500m walk to legian beach, however heater is not warm at all, the room we put on the first 3 nights had water leakage issue from the wall, baby cockroaches were seen even we changed to a much better room the forth night. I think management should seriously think about maintenance works to be carried out ...

No hot water , false advertised rooms

Being to Bali 26 times , I am taking the time to actually put a review up as I was highly disappointed by this hotel ...
I had booked this hotel to stay at to fly over and surprise my mum for her 60 th ..
upon arriving and getting to hotel at midnight , we were told our rooms were not available ... we were offered 4 rooms , we had booked for 5 of us , but two superior rooms .. two rooms with two double beds and one with an extra trundle ... no they said you will have to have the four rooms .. to which I replied my children can't sleep in all seperate rooms they're in a foreign country and I'm not comfortable with that ..
I asked where my rooms were and they argued with us for an hour .. taking us to different rooms and showing us and wanting to put us in all different rooms , none next to each other .. it turns out they don't even have actual rooms that they had advertised so it was false advertising.. they said to call our travel agent ! Yeah right we booked through Expedia so you are the ones false advertising.. they then put us in two deluxe rooms downstairs .. they were not the cleanest .. there was no hot water wat so ever , no bar fridge to even keep a drink in ... they don't have a pool ( that one was my fault for not looking at that ) .. they also have a coffee shop out front that no one is ever in &the cakes had sat for days ... after about day 4 we up and left , gave them their key back , will never be back & booked down the road @ the champlung , lovely .

Wonderful Staff, excellent price. Great value.

The staff were so lovely, we checked in late at night coming from the air port but we were still welcomed with refreshing drinks and a smile. They helped us book taxis and recommended blue bird taxis s the safest. The rooms were just what we needed with comfy beds and nice shower pressure. We stayed for one night and felt refreshed after long flight thanks to the 12 pm check out. Thank you Loft Legian!

Budget-friendly with great service & location!

Stayed for a night before checking in to our villa in Seminyak. Location is great, staff is amazing & rooms are delightful. A definite value for money! Jalan Melasti is a one way street though so it's a bit packed when arriving in a car, but you can walk everywhere which was important for us.

generic hotel without any charm

We booked one night in this hotel as we were flying out early the next morning and it was definitely sufficient for that purpose, but I wouldn't recommend it for any longer stays.
We booked a queen size room but only got one with two single beds which was ok for one night, but the room was a bit smelly and we felt uncomfortable overall.
Don't get me wrong: this hotel is not bad, it's just not good either and there are better options located in Seminyak.

Pretty good if you're on a budget

One of the best budget hotels in the area. Room looked new and everything worked. The separator between shower area and toilet could be better as water splashes out to the toilet area for my room at least.

We originally booked for 3 nights and the first 3 were great, our room was on the second floor and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The ac and wifi were great. Then we booked for another 2 nights because we enjoyed the first 3 so much. After we had extended our stay, we were told we would be upgraded and had to move before noon the next day. It was a bit annoying to have to pack up all of our stuff and move but we did it anyways. Once we got to our new room it was very clear it was not an upgrade, it was a much smaller room, same size bed and the washroom was not private at all - you could see through the window door. The ac was not as great here either and we found a couple small cockroaches in the room. I would say if you're on the second floor your stay will be great, on the third floor, not so much.

Great attitude from hotel staff, efficient service with my laundry, great restaurant next door called Seacrets (highly recommended) and within walking distance to many tourist attractions.

Only downside is my room was quite dark.

We checked in late but the front staff was really friendly and helpful. Room was cosy and comfortable. We were moved to another room the next day due to the aircon not cooling down as it was supposed to. 2nd room was better and even though it was close to the lift, it wasn't noisy. The only noise we heard was someone singing in the shower as the shower window was facing the Airwell. One downside was the room not having a bar fridge. Overall, we had a great stay and for the price we paid, it was well worth it at less than S$30 a night. Location was a short walk to Legian beach and lots of eateries and bars along the way. I would definitely stay there again.

They didn't replace the sheets any covers in the 3 days i stayed there. There was a purple stain like a marker stain that was on the sheets. Also air con didnt work well. The room had a lot of light seeping in so every day at 6am it was bright in the room making it hard to sleep. No refrigerator.

The hotel was so nice ! The staff were beyond amazing and so helpful. It's walking distance to the beach. Along the same street you have plenty of shops and places to eat and drink which is good. You have the option to hire a scooter direct from the hotel which then also has parking for you.

Overall a great experience and would definitely come back and stay again :)

Nice tidy little hotel. We got a basic room, had no fridge or window. If they have slightly bigger rooms with a window and a fridge I'd stay again. Could walk to the beach in 5-10 minutes. Central to all markets, massage joints and restaurants. Lovely staff. No pool but we prefer beach anyway. Great coffee shop attached. Air con wasn't strong enough for me. But that's my only complaint.

Awesome hotel in heart of Legian

Fabulous hotel everything is new and super clean. The rooms are great sized with flat screen TVs and super hot water in showers with good pressure. Right near the corner of jalan Legian and Melasti a great spot away from noise but so close to the beach and Seminyak. The staff are FABULOUS and so happy and helpful and even lent us one of their own scooters to get dinner when the delivery service was down. Amazing people. We had heaps of fun competing in the games that were held for independence day. Great hotel - theres a lift for the weary or shopped out. No pool but plenty of 5* places you can swim nearby for the price of lunch $5. Can't say enough good things this place is great. Thanks to the staff again who really made our trip well be back ☺
