Ordered food from restaurant staff dropped half the food on floor no sorry and no replacement then tried to charge full price for it
Booked 2 rooms arrived and only one available tried to tell us we didn’t book despite having evidence on email

Staff were lovely room great apart from tv. Pool was great apart from the regular invasion of local unsupervised school children from the school next door. 3 to 4 times a week unable to use the pool because no sun lounger available all taken by the day visitors from the school next door.

Friendly staff, The hotel was very clean and the beds were comfortable only issue was when the school children used the pool it was too noisey . The pool itself was amazing and very clean . I loved the pool and verandas . It was also a bit noisey at night with people slamming doors and your head when in bed is next to the television next door so if the neighbour has it up loud. you can’t sleep.

The hotel is seriously dated. Initially I was placed in a room without proper AC, and water was leaking onto the floor from the patio. I was upgraded to a pool side room, and given a complimentary fruit plate, with a note scribed from a template and signed by someone? The outlets by the bed in the upgraded room didn’t work, so I used the TV USB port to charge my phone, and there were paint stains on the curtains. I don’t think this is a 4 star hotel. Maybe a 3 star at best.

Afterwards, a couple employees were more than a little rude in the breakfast area. I asked for the complimentary drink in a tall glass and was told flat out, no. The young man at the egg stationed also seemed a bit surly and annoyed with me when I wanted a fresh omelette. I’m not sure if it was a racial barrier, age barrier, or maybe these two young men do not like westerner's but they had attitudes. I naturally complained, and management did take action and tried to make everything right, but it was awkward for me the rest of my stay.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. I booked it twice during the same trip. I initially extended my Bali visa and tried to extend my stay here but it was booked up for those days so I left, went somewhere else for a few days then came right back once rooms were available again. I travelled with my toddler and this was such a lovely stay. VERY CLEAN rooms and building overall is clean. AMAZING staff, all very warm, friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast, a wide variety of options plus restaurant and bar on site. Nice pool with also a kiddie pool. This place brought me peace, joy and comfort. I highly recommend and will be back again during my next trip to Bali. Thank you Bliss Surfer, you were outstanding.

I had 4 rooms for a family of 7 rooms are clean and presentable. If we had any issues the were delt with promptly. Restaurant food was good and staff outstanding couldn't be more helpful especially when my youngest loves tomato sauce. Pool are was clean and very chilled out to relax.

Lovely stay for the price it’s almost perfect but if I were to provide honest feedback, I found some of the staff weren’t as friendly as I was use too others made up for it, a little slow on any requests if possibly non existent lol however room was lovely I did request a quite room after reading reviews and was quite pleased I did, i had a ground floor room on a very quiet side of the hotel with quiet garden like area, pool area well presented and breakfast was included so for the price I give it 5 stars but it’s an honest review of specific topics. Beautiful place for a basic short stay. Location is perfect. Surfer theme is really fun. Cafe/restaurant is very convenient. Staff are so lovely. Only issue we had, it seems like potentially another guest was smoking near the air conditioning vent because we continued to smell cigarette smoke coming through to our room. The staff offered to have an engineer clean the vents but we suspected this wasn’t the issue; it was a guest choosing to smoke in a certain spot

This property is a scant 15 walk to Legian Beach and its beach clubs. The staff went out of their way to make my stay pleasant. The only drawback is that my room was quiet noisy (chair scrapping noises from the floor above as well as conversations in the hallway). If you are a light sleeper this may not work for you.

Ive stayed here every time Ive been in Bali. Its not flash but its clean, close enough to the beach and can walk to Kuta or Seminyak. Circle K next door, money change down the road, laundry and massge places close and legian food court on the corner ( not that i have ever been there ). Staff are friendly and welcoming. I feel safe as solo traveller. Wifi works well. Free drink voucher. Will keep coming back as it suits me perfectly.

The staff are fantastic, were extremely friendly to our 5 year old son. everyone was always up for giving him high 5's. Room was tidied daily. The mango daquiri are decent and cheap!
The pool is very close to the rooms beside it (they can step straight into it, which was a little off putting at first. But other than that not worth the worry. Breakfast could use some extra options, but what they do serve is yum, and the egg station is excellent.
Would recommend for the staff and comfort alone.

We truely enjoyed our 10 night stay here. As soon as we arrived we were made to feel welcome. The staff were amazing, always available and gave great suggestions on where to visit, always engaging in conversation which made us feel very comfortable.
I found this hotel to be walking distance to restaurants and night life (garlic lane being a popular spot) but it’s not too central so it was in a nice and quiet spot at night, which was great for our young kids.
The rooms where a great size for 5 of us and the beds where very comfortable and well sized.

The restaurant staffs were very friendly they treated us like family.. the service of Cintya,April,Nyommon the manager,Windu and Magendra was top. They wauted for us nightly until 12 am to finish our dinner eventhough the restaurant closes at 11 pm. We will miss you guys.

Great central location allows you to walk to most places. Located near Legian foodcourt which is great for its choice of. I don and western food ..and cheap. Convenience store next door with teller machine. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Decor a little tired and dated, but rooms are large and clean and have a rear balcony. The pool has been upgraded and there are now lagoon rooms available.

Also the WiFi is stronger and the breakfast buffet is reasonable at 7 Aud net.

Great price, great experience.

I only stayed one night, I arrived late from the airport and got in around midnight. I had been upgraded to a family room, which of course is excellent. I was put on the ground floor with what was basically a private section of the pool with a day bed. My room actually flooded due to heavy rains, but the staff were very apologetic and cleaned up the water. I was offered a complimentary lunch. What a great experience even for a short and eventful stay.

Aloha! I really did enjoy my stay here. I then treated myself to a more expensive hotel after my stay at Bliss Surfer, but i didn't enjoy it nearly as much and would have much preferred to remain at Bliss Surfer. The only gripes i had was a shower head which badly needed decalcification, slow wifi, and on the Friday night when i think staff stayed up till 3 or 4 in the morning chatting and laughing, but perhaps not realising that the sound carried and I couldn't sleep due to the noise (and i was on the 3rd floor). I otherwise wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place and would stay again for sure!

Bliss Hotel - the name says it all!

This is a lovely hotel inn relaxed surfer style.
The Lagoon rooms we had with pool access are really excellent.
The staff are mostly people who've been there a while and are wonderful, very friendly and helpful.
The on-site massage was very good and only a little dearer than the street price.
Friday night there was a noisy party that kept us awake, but hardly the fault of the hotel and pie only niggle.
