Good location. A little worn but very functional and spacious. Reasonably clean. Housekeeping staff were good. Nicky at reception was a delight and efficient, loved her. Safe walk to the hotel down a well lit gang.

Overall it was a great place to stay. It's really close to everything, which was perfect for someone like myself who doesn't like to walk long distances. Lots of shopping around, a few minutes walk to Garlic Lane. Plenty of restaurants around. Breakfast was nice. Included breakfast was only 7 or so choices, but I thought they all tasted really good. The staff here are extremely friendly and very accomodating. Rooms were neat and tidy and clean. Pool was nice and big. Obviously the resort isn't brand new, so the rooms and grounds reflect that, but then, so does the price. Overall I was very very pleased, and I'd definitely recommend a stay here.

loved the stay here. Staff cannot be friendlier. The resort is literally in the middle of legian, but it is nicely perched away from the main road, so I could have a certain level of quietness (of course, I heard some motorbikes).
It's very accessible to all shops, massage areas, and 10 minutes to the beach.
The only shortcominng is that Expedia says it has the onsite gym, but it doesn't.

This Hotel has been a good place for us to stay in the past, especially the pool villa's however, this recent visit shows up the years of poor maintenance and staff cut backs indicative of a struggling business.

The pool is good we enjoyed everyday,, but room condition is so poor,, we were asking for the non smoking room, but the room i think guest smoked there for a long time because smells stinky mould smell from the aircon filter, and full of dust like under the main bed especially extra bed we asked for. Toilet seat is not fully assembled after my man done nomber2,, the seat moved the side and i had to fix myself to use as a girl.

Wifi is unusable,For the New Years “compulsory” dinner we were only given 2 seats but the room was booked for 3. Shower towels were the size of hand towels and smelt like mould. Tv was tiny and only had 1 English Channel and if it worked, which was rare it was very poor quality. Breakfast was very disappointing with only a handful of options. Rooms are very outdated and are very unhygienic. We had to ask every night at 7PM!!! For new towels because are room was never cleaned. The pool looked as if it was never cleaned, lime green. This used to be my favourite Hotel, but the owner needs to put his hand in his pocket and spend some money on what used to be a great hotel. Rooms are so overpriced for the condition of this hotel that would be lucky to be a 2 star property now. You can get 4 and 5 star accommodation in the area at cheaper prices with great rooms, great pool and great food.
Walking in the room that had a broken TV, to having mould in the shower that had very little water pressure. You felt like you were walking on dirty floor in your room constantly.
We had a pool access room that had constant infestation of ants, to sliding into a pool that had a broken filter system, broken tiles around the pool edges and pool full of dirt around our pool area.
Woke up two morning to black water in the taps in the bathroom and not informed by staff that this had happened.
Breakfast was extremely disappointing, with hardly any food available and many staff just standing around, where is the buffet that is expected at a hotel charging this sort of price? In the end we walked around to Coffee Corner and paid for an excellent breakfast and wasted the cost Of the breakfast paid for with the hotel.
I feel for the staff who try to make you feel welcome, but if the owner is not supporting his team then you place yourself in the budget class hotel in Bali. You have lost us as customers and will pay the same as you charge for a cleaner, newer hotel in Bali.

The pool access room was fantastic. The staff very friendly and helpful. The lagoon pool is beautiful and the location very handy to shops and restaurants. As it is far set back from the busy Jl. Legian you don't hear the noise from the street or loud music from nightclubs. Beautiful quiet at night and peaceful.

Didn’t like our allocated room, no daylight had to pay $80 to upgrade. No tea/ coffee making facilities. Pool bar ran out of our choices for cocktails. Would stay there again as great location.

Located in a great area with plenty of cheap stalls, massages and restaurants in close walking distance. Rooms have not been updated in a long time so you get what you pay for, however rooms are very clean, and staff are great. We stayed in the basic superior and it was fine if you don't want to spend a lot of time there. Wifi is great speed. Resort has a great Balinese feel, and it is very quiet. Massive pool area with swim up bar which is great, however bar is not always manned. Small buffet breakfast but enough there for anyone to pick from and quality is great. We would stay here again.

We have stayed here at this property several times since time of opening many years ago. First in pool access rooms, then pool villas and the last few years in the private pool villas. Never a bad time although the hotel has become possibly aged and may not suit everyone's tastes because of that aged appearance. The main pool is a gem, the private pool villa pools are generally well kept and despite some aged appearance are absolutely peachy.!

- satilite channels really means 10 indonesian channels, kids channel, French news, one au news channel and British news.
- traditional grass roof was nice but smell was overpowering.
I recommend paying the extra to stay somewhere else

We were dissapointed in the whole place its run down and the pool entree area is filth .the service was ordinary we checked out 5 days before our time was up and they couldnt even get the account rite when we were leaving always forgetting things when they cleaned the rooms english was bad .

We stayed in a private villa for our anniversary. The entry door to the villa courtyard was unable to be locked and could be seen through. The villa pool or at least half of it could be viewed by neighbours from a backing property. The pool and courtyard area was run down and poorly maintained. I suppose the biggest issue we had was our bed, it was 2 singles put together so you had 2 thick seams in the middle, so could only lie on one side or the other, never in the middle. The room other than this was really nice. The pool towels didn’t cover the pool lounges so we signed a couple of additional towels from main pool but these were removed and not replaced by housekeeping. The pool chairs got super hot as they were vinyl. We had breakfast included but after first morning went out to other places for breaky as it was very basic and bland. I did ask for a couple of poached eggs and after about 20mins and asking if they were made gave up as they had forgotten. We requested and were happy to pay for hotel transport on our arrival, which was confirmed but no one was at airport. They did give us free return transfer on our departure which was good but all in all I wouldn’t stay here again and it wasn’t cheap.

This was the 4th time I have stayed at the Kuta Lagoon Resort - The staff are always present and helpful. I had a pool access room which was fantastic considering the humidity at this time of the year. My room was clean and the cleaners were very friendly and attentive.
I would say that the only think that I could fault about the resort is the breakfast - not very interesting/ almost the same every day I went up there. I ended up going out the last few day. Next time I will probably just book without including the breakfast.

The hotel was lovely, enjoyed the beautiful pool. The rooms are clean and bed very comfy. Loved the balcony with pool view. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast could be improved.Location was great, short walk to shopping and lovely restaurants. I can recomend this hotel.

Our room was rather dark and very humid as the bathroom exhaust fan had broken down and our only window was onto a tiny courtyard used by staff. It also lacked a fly screen, allowing mosquitoes in the open window.

Unfortunately the minute we arrived our experience wasn’t so great. They gave up our room because we arrived late .. so we had to change rooms the following day. Thank goodness the second room didn’t smell. The place is clean but it is run down. My sister didn’t sleep well at all because of the bed and pillow, it just wasn’t comfortable . I think I was too tired to notice that part . It’s very very quiet so if you are after a place that doesn’t go off then this is the place for you. Breakfast was veryyyy average. Unfortunately we only ate there twice and ended up eating elsewhere for breakfast. Would I stay there again? Unfortunately I wouldn’t :(

We have stayed here before in a pool side room, and this time elected to stay in a private Villa. Great place to stay. Very convenient to most things the area has to offer. Felt safe here. Food was good. WiFi worked, not great but OK. The main pool is great, and the Villa pool was perfect. Staff are alway happy and helpful. All rooms are comfy, clean and spacious. We will stay here again.

The private pool was nice. Could have been slightly warmer but certainly wasn’t cold. It needs one more step to get in and out of as the first step is about 70cm high.

I booked 6 months ahead for a family holiday , I booked 3 rooms one for each of my family . My daughter went to Bali beforehand and we decided she should check what the rooms were like ,on arrival the girl told her all they standard rooms were taken and showed her one of the pool access rooms and said that the standard were exactly the same but had no pool acess .( NO THEY ARE NOT ) . The rooms were old and dirty looking ,the beds were very uncomfortable ,with rock pillows .There was blood stains on my daughters sheets and also one of my pillow ,the towels were smelly and stained . Aircons very noisey ,and leaking ,one room only had one power outlet ,( we had to buy adapter and take TV out to charge phones ) .The staff were friendly but didn't seem to be very happy . The manager must never be there as every time we asked so we could complain he wasn't there .( funny that ) .Breakfast ,food was always cold even the dishes that should be hot . Our food orders continually given to other guests in front of us . On the up side room service was very good and reasonalble prices . The pool is very nice . The location was great . ( I have to comment when I did get to talk to A staff member she informed me as I booked through Expedia that is what I should expect ) I have booked through Expedia on numerous occasions and NEVER have I had an issue . We will never stay there again and will recommend others don't as well .

Great hotel for the price not far from Legian beach. I stayed in a deluxe room on the second floor overlooking the pool. The room was clean and spacious. The hotel was very quiet even though it was school holidays. I would stay again but next time with a pool access room so you can walk out the back door onto the balcony and into the pool.

Value Hotel suitable for family and solo traveller
I stayed for only 1 night to check out the surrounding attractions and to allow me to adjust to the cultures here. It was very pleasant. The locals were friendly and helpful, although do watch out for scamming tour guides, taxi drivers and merchandise sellers. I was given a room at level 2, all rooms were not more than 3 storeys as i believe. The area was well cleaned and maintained. I did not experience any mosquitoes, flys or lizards issue.

Pros:
Staff are absolutely wonderful with good English, from front desk, to cleaners, to security. Check in took about 30 seconds, was such a breeze. Pool, grounds and room was always clean and we never had to ask for anything. Close to good enough restaurants - you HAVE to try Lemongrass around the corner. Couple of minutes walk to a nice stretch of beach (not too busy). Brilliant, clean spa across the road (Yes Spa) which is well priced and they change the linen after every massage and sterilise their equipment. Airport transfers were $15 each way which is good, much easier than trying to get a taxi when you first get there (taxi to airport probably around $10). Price good.

Pillows were too soft, actually had to buy one but for $10 who really cares. Breakfast was average but really, its the same as any hotel in this price range. Next time I'd not include breakfast and just go to Gloria Jeans (200m away) which do a fantastic breakfast for about $5 - $10.
Legian St is now one way which means that the location of the hotel isn't excellent if you plan on going south often. Takes an extra 15-20mins to get anywhere. You'll find that with all hotels in Legian though and this isn't reflective of the hotel.
Overall:
If this is your price range and you don't mind sitting in a taxi for a little longer then this is the hotel for you. It is definitely clean which is always my biggest concern when booking Bali hotels so I love them for that.

This hotel in on JL Legian but down a lane which means there is no traffic noise. The pool is lovely. The room was quiet and well maintained, possible a little dark but there were plenty of lights. There are plenty of eating options nearby. The staff were very friendly. We went with friends who were booked two doors down and after seeing our hotel, they wished they had booked ours! Would definitely stay here again
