My experience at Motel 6 Dania Beach was completely disappointing. From the moment we entered the room, we noticed a strong and unbearable smell of humidity that made the stay very uncomfortable.

The overall condition of the room was very deteriorated. The bathroom bathtub was visibly stained and dirty, which is unacceptable. In general, the cleanliness was very poor, to the point that we had to use our own towels and bed sheets just to feel minimally comfortable.

We also found that basic amenities were missing: there was no bath soap or toilet paper, so we had to go look for them ourselves. The TV remote control was never provided, and the room phone had no service, making it impossible to contact the front desk for assistance.

The room had double beds, but one of them was missing pillows, which shows a complete lack of attention to basic details.

Unfortunately, we were unable to cancel the reservation since we arrived after 5 pm and had no opportunity to find another place. Additionally, we had to wait a long time at the front desk because the room was not ready, even though we had reserved it several days in advance.

Considering the cost of $127 for one night, the experience was simply pathetic and far below expectations. I would not recommend this place under any circumstances.

The beds where neat and clean, however, there was no soap or towels to take a shower. I had to go to the front desk for those. No cups to drink water with. There's trash everywhere on the property, yet no trashcan in my room. I'm not sure if they even have a cleaning service. Maybe it was just a hard Friday before we arrived?

This Motel 6 was horrible. The staff didn’t allow any early check in. The pool was full of yellowish green water and closed of course. The room only had sheets and no comforters. The heating a cooling unit was really loud, the tub looked dirty but it was really because it needs to be replaced or reglazed. The room also smelled like mildew. I got some air freshener to assist. The only reason I stayed there and didn’t leave is because I was tired from being stuck in the airport for 2 days. The only good thing about this place is that it’s shelter from rain and provides a pay check for a few people. This is among the worst places I’ve ever stayed.

Check in was horrendous. Waited in a line for 90minutes to check in, there was only one person working the counter and one in housekeeping getting rooms ready. A fught broke out in front of the building so the desk lady had to go outside and call the cops to deal with that while we were in line in the heat waiting to check in. The room had holes patched in the wall. I had to go ask for toilet paper and was told I had to wait a long time before I could get some. The toilet stopped flushing and noone wanted to come look at it.

This was BAD . Not sure if their system was down or if someone called out but I waited inline for over an hour to check in . The person at the front desk had to personally go in a check what rooms were Available . They kicked us out of the lobby so he can check and took forever . No ice anywhere . And. No water in the pool

Remote control for tv didn’t work. Line through tv screen. Cover on bed would not come up to shoulder. Paid $118 for a $40 room.

Do not stay here for any reason. We got in late at night for a one night stay before our cruise, figuring we were only going to sleep for a few hours before going to the cruise port. The hotel gave away our pre-paid 2 bed room and only had one bed rooms left. For a family of 4 people. The one person on duty apologized but said there was nothing she could do. Our room was reserved and the prior staff person gave it away. I asked if we could get two rooms instead and the night person said she had no authority and could not contact anyone with authority to do that. There were at least three other groups behind us in line that the hotel did the same thing to. They were forced to find another hotel at midnight. We only got a room because the person in the room we originally reserved was kind enough to switch rooms with us. The only reason; the staff was absolutely not helpful.

In addition, the place was awful. The room was dirty, the shower was filthy, no towels, and NO BLANKETS. What hotel runs out of blankets!?! The best she could offer us was another sheet for each bed. The property was in bad shape. Pool was empty. No fridge in the room to store medicine, which we specifically ordered. All the ice machines were broken. It was terrible with overwhelmed staff, badly organized, and absolutely the worst hotel experience of my life (and I’ve stayed at some very iffy places).

I repeat: Do not stay here under any circumstances.

I booked here because it was less expensive, of course but also because I trusted the Motel 6 name. The rooms do not look like the pictures. There is trash throughout the entire property. There were no pillow cases or blankets even when we asked. And I’m not kidding, we had a single sheet to cover with. There were many dogs, late night gatherings, fights, dogs barking, etc. And this was a Sunday night. There were still people outside drinking when we left go to airport at 4a. Don’t stay here, don’t bring your kids here.

Arrived at 1:30 AM to be advised that they were sold out for the night even though we had a paid in full non refundable reservation. After lightly popping, the attendant advised she would put us in a “no show room”. that I would assume was taken out of service due to being 100% uninhabitable, however, I was forced to inhabit it. all safety detectors were disconnected and on a shelf and the tub unusable, the unit smelled of mold and they did not even provide comforters or towels only sheets.

The pool is not working and outside yard could use some cleanup. There is a laundry room but I did not use it. Plenty of parking, though I arrived in a taxi. The staff is helpful, but very busy so be patient if there’s a line of people.

My husband and I were discussed with the condition of this Motel. Not only was it dirty, Such as blanket had stains, the smell in the room made us gag. When we asked to change rooms the employee at the front desk told us to check to see if the room he was going to assign was what we wanted. When we got to the room there was someone else’s belongings in the room. That could have put us in a very dangerous situation. The new room that was assigned to us was even worse than the first one. We could not even sleep there one night. The pool was closed. Meaning there was no water in the pool. We landed up booking in another Hotel and called a taxi and left. We didn’t even check out. We are appalled that. Expedia would allow there customers to even be booked in a Motel like that.

Without a doubt, the worst property I have ever stayed at! They had to switch my room 3 times because the key did not work and the assigned rooms were dirty or already occupied. There is trash piled up in numerous areas around the property. Both ice machines are broken. The check-in took over TWO hours, with only one clerk working. Truly a horrible experience.

This was a terrible experience. The rooms and outside were so dirty. The smell inside and outside of the room smelled like septic. When I turned on the air conditioning, it made it so much worse.
One of the girls at the desk was so rude.
I asked for sheets, because none were on the bed, and someone gave them to me rolled up in a ball. I also asked for an extra pillow and was told no only two per room. We paid a lot for the room because of the area. I’m surprised Expedia has this on place on their sight.

Checked in 4 hrs late claimed to be short staffed, no comps given. Pool was empty and our initial room was dumpy w holes in the walls, but we were told they were booked so we had to stay in that room.We needed a place to stay so we booked another couple nights online and were then finally given a newer updated cleaner room, which seemed to anger the staff that our previous room wasn’t satisfactory- upon checking into our new room door was ajar, and the lock on our door was broken, staff wouldn’t repair it and we were unable to open it w our key, we had to wedge the door or someone had to remain inside so
we could access. The lock was a safety concern that should have received immediate attention.

Hice la reserva de este lugar a través de Expedia junto a un vuelo q saqué también. El vuelo fue cancelado por parte de la aerolínea y no pude viajar por tanto no pude hospedarme. Escribí al servicio al cliente de la aerolínea y entendieron todo e hicieron los reembolsos pertinentes pero cuando se comunicaron con el hotel, el hotel dijo q no me iba a reembolsar el dinero de mi estadía de 4 noches. 363 usd tirados a la basura. NO TUVE CULPA DE MI CANCELACIÓN. Debido a esa cancelación perdí una reunión mega importante. Exijo al hotel q tenga exepciones para estos casos. Porq no es fácil perder casi 400 usd por gusto. Eso sin contar q un familiar mío pasó por el hotel y desde fuera me dijo q era un asco y q el lugar no lucia para nada parecido a la foto q muestran en la aplicación. Muy mal ambiente q tiene.

My experience at the Dania Beach Motel 6 was not good.

The room was very dirty when I arrived, and it had a very bad smell. Additionally, the door did not close properly, which made me feel unsafe during my stay.

When I arrived at the reception, there was no staff available, and I had to wait outside until someone finally appeared to assist me. I also noticed people who appeared to be homeless walking inside the property, which made the environment feel uncomfortable and insecure.

I hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements for future guests.

Absolutely awful, it made me want to vomit. I waited half an hour to check in, and when I went to my room with my room key, I found there were no pillows, blankets, or sheets. The room hadn't even been cleaned before I was supposed to stay there? I asked the front desk to change rooms, but the second room was full of trash left by the previous guest, and the bed hadn't been made either; it had also been used by the previous customer. I just left, so why was I still charged? Can I get my transportation expenses reimbursed?

We had a late night check-in and we’re only there for a few hours so we could board a cruise ship the next morning. When we arrived, the attendant was very nice and gave us a key to a room and that didn’t work. So he gave another room key to a room that was filthy. This went on for like three more rooms that were completely filthy and full of pet cages and dirt and they were awful. He finally found us a smoking room that was decent, but it had no covers no towels and no toilet paper. This hotel needs to be condemned and demolished for good.

In the end I did not stay. The first room smelled so bad from smoking I could not walk in. The 2nd was just dirty. Not like the last cleaning was bad - like it was just not kept up at all. Tub filthy, drain had something in it. Toilet around the seat mounts has some kind of garbage. A/C, you could see some kind of stuff in the vent- I did not turn it . I was with my daughter - we opted to sleep in the airport - It is unfortunate - great locaton for airport. It just needs some real maintenance.

First the place looked very run-down. We didn't get any towels and when asked they said it was being washed, return at 11pm to get some. When we returned to get them, the girl said they were locked up in a cabinet and she didn't have the key....what? so no towels. There were roaches crawling on me at night and in the bathroom. Definitely don't stay here!!!

The room was dirty, there where bugs on the bed, the tub was dirty and the whole place needs to be fixed up we had to change rooms 5 times because the rooms was bad and the manager needs to learn how to talk to people she has a very bad attitude.
