I was looking for a simple hotel for one night in Belo Horizontes before taking the morning bus to Ouro Preto. This place met the basic needs— it had 24 hr check in (I landed past midnight so this was important), simple bed and shower which was sufficient, and advertised to have wifi and included breakfast. Note I emphasize “advertise”— Orbitz should change this. There was no breakfast, and the wifi was beyond slow. So slow I ended up giving up on wifi and resorted to roaming.
The place is very barebones. If you’re looking for simple place to meet basic one night stay, this is a good choice. Otherwise I would not plan to stay there again if I was there for a longer trip.

Minha experiência no Hotel Palace em Belo Horizonte foi extremamente desagradável. Fizemos a reserva com muita antecedência pelo Hoteis.com, saindo de Salvador com a expectativa de um bom acolhimento, mas o que encontramos foi uma sucessão de erros e falta de profissionalismo.
Os problemas foram:
Falta de Preparo: Ao chegarmos, fomos informados que não havia quarto de casal limpo porque a faxineira não tinha ido trabalhar. Um hotel desse porte não pode transferir um problema administrativo interno para o hóspede.
Atendimento Rude: O recepcionista foi extremamente hostil. Às 21:30h, a \"solução\" oferecida foi aceitar um quarto diferente do reservado ou cancelar a reserva e procurar outro lugar naquela hora da noite. Não houve qualquer empatia ou tentativa de amenizar o transtorno.
Infraestrutura Precária: Acabamos aceitando um quarto devido ao horário, mas os problemas continuaram. A chave não funcionava e fomos transferidos para um terceiro quarto, que era minúsculo, com três camas de solteiro (diferente do solicitado), sem toalhas.
Falta de Higiene e Manutenção: A geladeira estava desligada e vazando, deixando o chão do quarto todo molhado.
Negativa de Compensação: Mesmo diante de tantos erros cometidos pelo hotel, não nos foi oferecido nenhum desconto ou cortesia. O atendimento seguiu como se estivessem nos fazendo um \"favor\".
Conclusão: Fomos muito mal atendidos e o descaso com o cliente é total. Não recomendo o hotel a ninguém

Tive uma péssima experiência na hospedagem em relação a limpeza do quarto que estava péssima , o banheiro não tinha nem box em pleno 2026 eles utilizam cortina na área de banho sem falar que o espaço e mínimo se entrar de frente tem que sair de ré ,o wi-fi não pega nos quartos nem por decreto

Chegamos ao hotel com antecedência e aguardamos a liberação do quarto. Após algum tempo de espera, subimos para descansar da viagem cansativa. Ao entrar, percebemos que havia uma cama de casal, embora eu tivesse solicitado duas camas de solteiro na reserva.
O atendente da recepção informou que o problema era da plataforma de vocês, e não do hotel, apesar de estar claramente especificado na reserva o pedido por duas camas de solteiro. Após mais um período de espera, ele conseguiu nos trocar para um quarto com três camas de solteiro.
No entanto, o quarto apresentava diversos problemas:
•Havia apenas três tomadas, sendo uma próxima ao chão da porta de entrada, uma ao lado de uma cama e outra dentro do banheiro, o que é totalmente inadequado.
•A porta do banheiro não oferece nenhuma privacidade, pois há um grande vão na parte inferior, semelhante a uma divisória.
•A torneira da pia vaza continuamente, mesmo sem ser aberta, e por conta disso molhou todos os meus pertences que estavam sobre a pia, alguns, inclusive, ficaram inutilizados e precisaram ser jogados fora.
•O sinal de telefone não funciona dentro do quarto, embora no restante do hotel o sinal estivesse normal.
•O Wi-Fi não tinha sequer sinal dentro do quarto, tornando impossível o uso da internet.
Diante de todos esses transtornos, o único ponto realmente positivo da hospedagem foi o café da manhã, que estava impecável.

Tivemos alguns problemas com a estadia, como: reservamos um quarto com camas de solteiro, recebemos um com cama de casal; o quarto não estava devidamente higienizado (o box do banheiro estava cheio de pelos); o café da manhã é aquém do esperado e queriam nos cobrar por uma reserva que já estava paga. A única vantagem é a localização que é excelente e próxima de diversos pontos turísticos.

Funcionários da recepção confusos e não muito preparados para atender os hóspedes. Nos colocaram em um quarto com ar condicionado quebrado e sem TV funcionando. Após muita reclamação nos mudaram de quarto. Não tivemos serviço de limpeza nos três dias que permanecemos no hotel. Ouvimos outros hóspedes reclamando que a funcionária da limpeza havia se recusado a limpar o quarto deles.

Infelizmente, a exceção da localização, o hotel não oferece o valor cobrado pela diária. Necessário, urgentemente, reformas nos quartos e nas acomodações. Pisos quebrados, banheiro sem box que fica todo molhado ao tomar banho.. Além disso, foi observado, também, uma mosca na salchicha do café da manhã.

Os quartos muito pequenos, tv minuscula, cama de casal dormi com os pes pra fora da cama, wc com um degrau de 40cm e minusculo, ventilador de teto parece de filme de terror, vai se despeender e degolar todo mundo. Ar condicionado funcina mas tem que por um tampão nos ouvidos pra dormir. Ja fiquei em hoteis muito melhores pelo mesmo preço. Ah! Todos os quertos do \"hotel\" são assim. Café da manhã deixa a desejar, pra cobrar esse valor de diaria precisa melhorar muito. Não tem acesso à cadeirantes.
