Some rooms renovated and looked amazing. Our room, 109, had duct tape holding outlet wall covers. Rug was holding bad odors from being so old. Have stayed there many times over the years. It’s still our “go to” motel regardless. I just know now, I’ll request room 107 since my brother has it this time around and it was beautiful, clean, and smelled “new”.

Apparently I was told by one of the workers the heater broke and they are not fixing it because its the end of the season. I complained to the front desk and she sent me to their other location because apparently their pool is heated to 89. Both pools were freezing.

Great location, walkable to the shops, food and the beach. It was so nice to park and not have to drive anywhere else unless you wanted to. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and spacious for our group. It had everything we needed to cook and a regular sized fridge. Would definitely stay again.

The room had stains everywhere, the furniture was falling apart, the beds horribly uncomfortable, and that was just the start of it.
The safety concerns were most troubling. With the door closed you could still see light between the frame and the door which caused the door to have plenty of wiggle when in locked position and allowed for all of the smells and emmisions from the vehicles to come pouring into the room. The wall along the headboards (which the alarm clock was plugged in) had an outlet that was recessed into the drywall. When I pointed out this code violation and safety concern and asked for a refund the man working the front desk came to the room and tried gaslighting me into believing the outlet was safe by tapping on it to “prove” that it was safe. He then returned with a cover and attempted to “fix” it….go figure, it didn’t work. I explained to him that the while it was uncovered and that was indeed a problem, the bigger problem was that it was recessed the thickness of the drywall. He told me I was wrong, it was because he had the wrong size screws, showed me all of the screws he had available to him, and said if he could just find the correct size he could fix the problem. By this point I was able to secure lodging elsewhere. I asked and was denied a refund again and checked out, as we would not be spending the night here.

This property is a crack shack! Desperately in need of maintenance and updates! The walls are literally paper thin and the blind on the window wasn’t even covering the window!! We had to use towels to try and have any privacy. The tv didn’t work, ceiling panels were falling out of the ceiling, and THE BEDS were so broken down that I think they may have picked them up at the dump!! Both my husband and I struggled to breathe in the room we had- assuming mold. The only thing going for it is the location.

Check-in was 2 hours late. The laminate flooring was peeling up everywhere. There was a hoard of Raccoons in an open dumpster. We couldn’t even get out of our car. For the most part, the manager was nowhere to be found.

I thought I was in the main motel which was 150 meters from the beach but we were sent to another building more than 300 meters away (2 streets further). The place was ok but I had chosen this motel for its proximity to the beach, which was not the case. A little disappointed with this situation that I learned when I got there. If I had known I would have returned to the \"Dock House Inn\" which was closer to the beach and cheaper.

Our room was not cleaned when we arrived. We were told we would be called when it was ready, but were not. Office staff hung up on us when we called to find out if the room was ready and the set the phones to be picked up by the answering machine so that they didn’t have to talk to us. When we finally reached they they were argumentative and disrespectful. The room was in poor condition with exposed outlets, mold in the bathroom, filthy carpets and broken ceiling tiles. The walls had no real soundproofing, which means you could hear not only the neighboring occupants, but also the trains that go right behind the hotel.

We stayed in one of the new 1-bedroom apartments that are a short (1 minute) walk from the hotel. Super close to the Pier, the beach, shops, and restaurants. It was clean and quiet and super convenient! We appreciated the friendly and helpful staff, as well.

First visit to Seabreeze
This was our first visit to Seabreeze so we didn't know what to expect besides what we read online. It is an okay place! Definitely old but felt clean. The pool was not able to be used due to chemical issues, so that didn't make us happy as we wanted to enjoy that after a day at the beach. A baby mouse was in our room. Although the employee did all she could to help take the little one out, it was gross to think there is a family of mice somewhere in the room-we believe the closet, which we ended up emptying because of that. The front desk employees were very pleasant and efficient. The location of the motel was fantastic because we could walk to everything. We parked upon arrival and never needed to drive anywhere. It is right next to the train tracks, so you are woken up a lot with the train. The availability of the kitchenette was great because we could make meals and had plenty of storage. The supplies (dishes, pans) were fantastic to have and were clean. Overall our stay was good. I would suggest that it is time to start upgrading the walls and outlets and such to keep visitors coming to enjoy their stay! The price was a bit high for the outdatedness of the room/place and for having to deal with a mouse!!

this place is everything you would want for a family vacation in Old Orchard. 3 minutes away from the main street and 4 minutes away from the beach. Very clean, the kitchenette is great and well equiped. The BBQs are very clean and lots of picnic tables. They even have a big flat grill near the pool if you want to make eggs,bacon and whatever. Toasters are in the rooms. The pool is great. Just BEWARE there is a train that goes even at night and the TRACKS are 50 feet brom the rooms in the back.

We checked in early to the property. They gave us a parking pass and told us to come back later. We came back later at 4 o’clock, I went to check in my room and other peoples things were already in our room. They then moved us to a different room, The room smelled of cigarettes. Other than that, it was clean and the air conditioning worked fine. Close to all amenities. We will not be back.

The staff was friendly, but the property is under renovation and our ROOM was under renovation. So there was no baseboard or trim in the bathroom and there was a hole in the wall where the old air conditioner was, covered by a quilted fabric. And there were pincher bugs in the dresser and the fridge. Meanwhile, they charged me a $200 damage hold on my card. Waiting for that to be released.

We booked a room similar to last year, but instead we got relocated on Foote Street. They tried making it sound nice at the front-desk, but the living-room wall was busted up, there was no towels in our room, the AC barely reached the bedroom, the back porch was in poor-condition, and the walk was twice the distance to the beach instead of on the normal property.

We went in knowing this property would not be that nice but needed it only one night for a wedding. There are train tracks right out your window where the train comes through so loud at 4am, shaking everything even the entrance door that you could see the hallway lights through. The shower would not work, the bed so uncomfortable and just overall not the nicest but if you need just a quick place to sleep it works.
