The place smelt like a nursing home and the first room they gave me was dirty and smelt like it hadn't been cleaned at all. I felt like I could still smell the last people who had stayed there. I was moved and the next room wasn't bad but I will never be staying there again.

This hotel is very old and in needs of a complete rennovation. The room was dirty, everything was broken, from the sink to the tub, to the kitchen counter. I cannot believe that I paid almost $300 for this.
The onyl nice thing was the lady at the front desk. She was very friendly and helpful.

I wish the listing included that the property was “undergoing renovations”. The furniture was completely worn out in most rooms and had to request a change in rooms. The lady at the front desk was great and upfront about the conditions of this facility. However, this stay was the equivalent to staying at Motel 6 or a facility with very poor conditions, certainly not worth $220 dollars per night. There’s also a listing of “gym” access included but this is not entirely true — supposedly they have some sort of agreement with a local gym to access their facility for their guests (but even this information was not available or known to the front desk). If I had known the conditions, I would have paid extra and stayed at a hotel with more like Marriott or Hilton. Definitely not worth the cost.

Non smoking hotel yet smelled of smoke. Room 206 had smell of old smoke in it. Bed side drawer had a half smoked cigarette lying in the drawer with the bible seeming purposefully placed there.

Lighting fixture wall panel was dirty. ?? What was all over it. The floor was dirty/dusty/ used plastic glass under chair. Lounge chair had cat scratch damages on it. Light fixtures didnt work. No discount offered but did move us to another room. Pumpkin at entrance had a Playboy Bunny carved in it - tacky and not suprised! For the price…I woukd have expected more.

The room was clean and quiet. Some of the kitchen items have seen quite a bit of wear. All were still functional, but a bit beat up. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big. The tub wasn't draining effectively, so we ended up with about an inch of water in the tub by the end of the shower. The only part of the hotel that wasn't acceptable was a funky smell in the hallway.

The whole hotel smelled stale, no one ever did any house cleaning the entire time we were there! We even had to get our own clean towels! We had to buy deodorizers because the room smelled like they just painted over the cigarette smoke on the walls, and the carpet was stained and filthy!!!! It was altogether a bad experience

Well the bed was pretty hard and woke up with very bad leg pain and my boyfriend thought it was too hard as well
The tub was not draining quickly so we would leave it and the next day it would be drained
We requested new sheets and towels and I am pretty sure because he did not grab them and take them up right when we were going out we were not able to get those although I did not read in the description if that was even a thing and the key card failed us the first time so we had to swap it out but they do have a vending machine although we were on a budget so sadly we got very little from it either way I probably will be looking for somewhere nicer to sleep next time atleast a comfy bed is a must for me but the new sheets thing also really bothers me I know I could have gone to get some that night but I have social anxiety so I did not feel comfortable doing it so I wished there had been some clean ones in the room for me to use and swap out as I had needed but it was a fine experience the water does get nice and hot and there is WiFi we watched Harry Potter all weekend because it was just basic cable um but the staff we relatively friendly and nice to talk with

Seemed no staff was onsite at 2am - as the lobby check in had a metal roll down window and a little box for key return. Never been in a hotel like that - seems there is always someone at the front counter and or security, ?
A parking spot in front marked for Police - as if a perm spot was needed for police. ?
The elevator needs a good scrub - the floor outside on 2nd floor had a puddle of something - maybe pet urine? Sticky it seemed as you could not avoid.

Arrived and checked in, went to room and dropped off luggage and other items, went shopping, returned to find that both our key cards did not work, went to front desk and they stated that we were never put in the system as having the room and they had given it to someone else because the room was available!! Turns out the other guests entered are room while we were gone and then reported the room was occupied when they went in. They were not impressed and left the hotel. When we were told of the situation we did not feel comfortable staying for fear that someone else would walk in our room for the same reason. This was a huge error!! We left the facility and I am waiting to get a refund but not sure it will happen. Steer clear of this hotel, it is soooo sketchy.

We stayed at this hotel because it was cost effective $248 a night. I wasn’t expecting bells and whistles, but the door you had to yank open to start with and then you had to push it shut to make sure it closed all the way. Next, the kitchen was big, but the light was “burnt” out with a strange red glow. The bathroom sink hadn’t been cleaned, which was the least of my concerns, and there wasn’t a drain pug in the shower/tub. I’ve never seen that before. A fly flew out of it. In the bedroom, there was a wet spot on the floor which I stepped in. I placed napkins over it. There was also a dead fly on the window sill. Finally, the sheets did not feel or look newly cleaned. I always check the mattress for bugs or any signs of uncleanliness, and there was clearly a cigarette burn in the mattress (it was a nonsmoking room).

Again, I wasn’t expecting the a Ritz Carlton because it needed to be budget friendly. The next closest hotels were $369 and up per night. I grew up in Maine so I know they cater to tourists and the summer rates are expensive, but this room was simply not clean.

The staff is so incredibly nice and accommodating. Everyone working there from the front desk ladies to the house keeping crew were so friendly and kind. Our room was spacious and clean and quiet. The grounds around the hotel are beautiful. We had a lovely stay. I will definitely book this hotel again.

Great if you’re on a budget

We were looking for something cheaper than being downtown. We got it but also got what we paid for. It has not been kept up super great. The grab and go breakfast was fruit bars and sugary muffins. The staff was kind and helpful. The room smelled of stale cigarettes and I had to ask for a coffee maker.

My fiancé and I stayed here as we were visiting family in the Portland area. This place is not great. The tv did not work, the bed was very uneven it felt like someone had laid on on side for a long time. The air conditioning smelled dusty, and the toilet did not flush. It’s definitely in your budget if that’s what you’re going for but don’t expect anything good. We stayed in room 124 for reference

You get what you pay for. We chose this property because of its location and cost. Lesson learned.
We had to wait *a while* for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. There were no plastic cups in the bathroom- I understand at an extended stay you can request items for the kitchenette- but there should be cups in the bathroom. The shower itself did not have hot water, the water pressure was low and it didn’t drain properly. The fan in the bathroom was chock full of lint and dirt. Just gruesome. The morning after showering, there was *still* water in the tub. The floor of the room looked like it hadn’t been swept. There was a drawer in the bureau that kept sliding open, (not outrageous - but awkwardly bothersome) and a bulb on the night stand lamp was out. Everything was nicked or scratched or dirt or missing. Felt like a post-apocalyptic getaway- complete with ‘we don’t care’ attitude. The cherry on the awful stay sundae was- there was no coffee left in the lobby with the ‘free breakfast ‘ when we checked out (9am).

This was the worst stay we’ve ever experienced in our entire lives! Dirty rags from previous customers in our room, old food on the floor, paying extra for our internet to work, getting a rollaway bed that looked like someone took a huge crap in the middle of! People pounding on doors all night! The only positive thing was the overworked older front counter woman. Who did her best to make things as well as she could! This place SUCKED!!!

We stay here once a month. Never a problem till this weekend. Mold in the shower curtain. Tv remote channel up &down button didn't work, snd tv adjustment was broken so it could be adusted for a different angle. Then some man tried to get me to help him while i was leaving this morning. Scary because i think he was staying there. He waited until my partner lert then approached my car.

I booked this place for my boyfriend dog and I after flying all day. We got to the property, let my dog to go pee and there was needles in the parking lot, my boyfriend went in and checked in and said the lobby had an awful smell. We got to the room and as I do everywhere I stay I check sheets/ sinks: tub and toilet and it was all dirty. There was a bogger on the bed frame and pee on the toilet seat. Lady at front desk was lovely though.

This property is wonderful. My parents stayed here years ago and they loved it. So did we! The front desk stafff was so nice and they even gave us options to have cookware brought to our room so we could use the kitchenette. The bed was very comfy and the room was spacious and clean. I brought my ESA cat and there were no fees. Will definitely book this hotel again!!

The surroundings looked OK at night and the photos looked good online. Overall this property should have had a major renovation some years ago. The front desk assistant was excellent and he had a great personality and good information. However, when we arrived in our room we found counter-top laminate ripped away from the counter and missing, the backsplash was separated from the wall and a large art print on the wall was missing the glass and had strange brown stains on the matte. The refrigerator had paint missing and wall paint was spotted with wear. The beds and the bathroom were clean. For basic sleeping this place was fine but we never saw a free breakfast. The stay was OK for late arrival but I would never recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a clean reliable room especially for the price.

I was not impressed with this hotel. It was dirty, lacked of service and use of elevator. The drawers of the bureau were permanently open. The room’s floor near the door was sticky. For some reason, there was tape on the wall. With other people around, they gave me my room key while announcing my room number. I would never stay there again.
