Great location and the price through Expedia was reasonable. However, there was a $40 parking fee that wasn’t clearly advertised when booking.

We had to request three room changes. The first room was next to a loud ice machine, the second had a strong cat urine smell, and the third room on the second floor was finally perfect.

The beds were a bit firm, but I still slept great. Breakfast was decent, especially the fresh fruit, although the coffee wasn’t great (and I’m a big coffee drinker).

The pool water was too cold and could use some TLC, and I wish there was a hot tub. Check-in and check-out were very easy.

One thing that made me uncomfortable was a homeless man sleeping outside who later made his way into the lobby. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they handled it right away and asked him to leave.

Overall, good location and price, but a few issues during the stay.

There is no free parking in the hotel parking lot. Either pay the hotel extra or look for street parking, which also charges from 9am-6pm.

This property is absolutely beautiful and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are great size not as small as most hotel rooms. The location of the pool, breakfast, fitness room and things was conveniently located. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to everyone. My only complaint was the remote wasn't user friendly and there wasn't many options for the television. I definitely give this hotel 5 stars 🌟

We try to stay at this Hampton Inn when we got to Portland, it is easy to get in and out. The staff is very helpful, rooms are clean, valet parking makes the stay so much easier than some of the other hotels.

The stay was fine. Parking is an issue. $40 to park in the hotel lot. You can park on the street for free but the signage is somewhat conflicting. I wouldnt stay there again because of this. The room was fine. Like any hotel room.

Great Location. Not as comfortable as other Hampton Inn properties I have stayed at. Our room on the 4th floor was not quiet. Noise from the housekeeping supply room, guests in the hall and thin walls between the rooms. Bring your ear plugs and you will sleep well.

Great location with lots of food options around. Plenty of parking nearby.
Hotel rooms were huge with coffee facilities, microwave and fridge. Coffee available in the lobby which was nice. Breakfast choices limited but sufficient. Pool was a little cold but lovely touch.
The only thing we didn’t like was not being able to open a window in the room.

I had an increadoble stay. I had lost heat and needed to go somewhere overnight. I was just overwhelmed amd exhausted. I came with my puppy and they were kimd to both of us. Everything was so clean. Only issue with our stay was the parking. They should be more transparent and say you’ll have to use valet for $40 per night because the lot we will tell you to use across the street is never open and the street parking never changes and there’s massive snowbanks causing some spots to be unusable. We were inconvenienced driving around for 20 minutes trying to find some street parking in an area we are not familiar with just to have to be forced to pay for valet we didn’t want. If we knew this would be an issue we would have booked elsewhere with an actual parking lot.

For it being one of the cheapest options in Portland (in off season) it met expectations: was clean and comfortable. I stayed in a King room for 2 nights and didn’t have any issues. Breakfast is okay, nothing special just your regular continental. Good location, friendly staff.

It was what we expected. Just a room. The heat was through a very loud vent above the bed. Needs to be up dated to more efficient and quieter system. To no fault there own there were extremely loud guests in the hallway between 12 mid night and 2;30am. I talked to them about it in the morning. They did take our valet parking fee off our bill. Very nice but still made for a unrestful night. Typical hotel breakfast included. We did not eat it but it’s what you expect.

The staff was okay, but the welcome could have been warmer at check in. I wasn't offered information, water anything upon check in. I had to ask the wifi info and breakfast info/times.
At one point during stay I'd asked if they could offer me an umbrella as I was walking in the snow and the guy at the desk laughed and said he only had them for sale and couldn't offer me anything. That was rude. Other hotels offer umbrellas or supply at least one in the room.
I returned one evening asking if there was available water to refill my cup (like the thermos at breakfast) and the woman at desk was rude and flat out declined that was possible.

The room seemed clean and was very spacious! The bathroom however had a weird pink stain above the toilet on the ceiling. The front desk was very kind and helpful to me. However when my boyfriend forgot his charger and came back the same evening they were unable to located it. He also called back several times and they said it was lost. Overall it was a good stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again!

Clean room minus a duvet on the floor in the closet. Mattress is spring and very hard. Everything was decent and adequate. Nothing fancy. Valet was $40 a night so we parked on the street and then my car got keyed. Included breakfast is again decent. Highly recommend going to the restaurant in the building (that you annoyingly have to walk outside to go to) called Friendly Toast. Very good food. Great off season rates at this hotel, have stayed before and will likely stay again. Just nothing fancy.

Everything was perfect from accommodations to breakfast and car valet. The hotel is just around the corner from all the great restaurants and bars on Commercial Street as well as to Monument Park and the happenings there. Have stayed there a number of times. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is because they have a breakfast/lunch joint where there used to be a very good restaurant and bar downstairs for night caps.

The rude male at the desk was incredibly loud in person and on the phone- as if he was yelking at everyone. He was unwilling to help some young teen immigrants asking for help with getting into their rooms, and no polite bedside manner with customers on the phone. I booked a room to take my child swimming for the night and upon walking past saw that the pool was \"out of order\". The desk attendant failed to mention that to me at check-in. I immediately walked back to the desk and asked if the pool was out of order and for how long to which he said \"yes it is.\" \"i dont know could be open tomorrow morning or later\" in a very bad attitude. I explained I was going to check out then bc i specifically booked a room to take my child swimming. He said nothing but \"ok\". No help or assitance offered at all. He wouldnt make eye contact either-talked to the computer screen, the ceiling, and the objects around him but not to me. I asked if I was to just give him back the keys to check out? He responded with \"yeah i guess, because you checked in i cant really check you out til tomorrow anyway. I said ok, but youll note that i brought keys back/left? Because i want to cancel, i specifically only booked the room for the pool time. He said \"well i cant refund you\". After that i was done, and said fine. He continued to talk to me like i was a robot. I finally asked why isnt it posted on the website or app when i made reservation? Or said when i checked in? He said well it just happened today.

Mostly clean and comfortable. No fault of housekeeping there was a water stain and a bit of mold above the toilet from a leak above. And the headboard had oily spots from prior guests. Also it was a cool night and the bathroom is quite chilly. These concerns aside our stay was satisfactory.
