The staff was great and the room was clean. There was a $25 amenities fee that made it not amenities but forced purchases. It said it covered tea and coffee and cookies along with water bottles. I saw none of these things. The fee included a credit at the hotel for food at the restaurant, snacks or drinks. All of which were over priced ($5 for a single serving bag of chips!). I wasn’t aware of the fee when I booked with Expedia which made the price of the hotel comparable to others. It felt like a bait and switch. It also isn’t really in the old port district. It’s more in a residential area which made street parking easier instead of $30 per night on site. But not walkable in cold winter to things tourists want to do. The room itself was comfortable. I guess I accidentally booked the accessible room. The shower was not accessible if you actually wanted to shower. The hand held shower head barely reached the bench and the water pressure was so weak you wouldn’t want to bother. The shower also had very little slip to it so the bathroom had a second drain in the middle of the floor because when you took a shower it flooded the bathroom. The room was also noisy. I’m not sure if it was outside on the patio or upstairs but it sounded like someone was moving heavy furniture in the morning. I gave the hotel 3 stars only for the staff who were all super friendly and helpful.

I had a wonderful one-day stay at this hotel. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the staff were exceptionally helpful and informative throughout my visit. What really stood out was when an employee who had just finished his shift took the time to show me around and help me find my way to the floor I needed - he went above and beyond even on his own time. Though my stay was brief, it was a pleasant experience from start to finish. I would definitely stay here again!

We booked a King bed room but they told me they ran out of rooms with a King bed. Not sure how that happens but they upgraded us to a suite which was large and comfortable.

The rooms in this establishment were incredible, whoever designed them really thought about it and planned it well. Their restaurant had great food, and the staff were terrific.
The only problem I found with this place was the parking, the parking was not as secure as I’d like. If I were a female on my own, I would be a bit concerned going into the parking lot by myself. We saw a used syringe out the front of the building. This made us question the area and having a non enclosed garage.
I would definitely stay here again, however, it would only be with another person or in a group.

Beautiful room and the front desk man was lovely. It was a little farther away from downtown. It has had $30 day parking and a $25 daily fee. It advertised outdoor winter bar and igloos but they were not available. No one was in the bar/restaurant area the entire stay, wasn't even sure if it was open.

The room was clean and lovely. However, we stayed with our 10lb dog for 3 nights and were placed on the top floor at the very end of a maze of corridors. There is only 1 elevator access which was ages from our room and to get outside. Furthermore, although the room had a refrigerator, a small microwave would have been nice to heat hot water for tea instead of having to leave the room, walk down the maze of corridors, find someone at the front desk and ask them to fill our cup with hot water (which they had to leave the front desk for!). There was no hot water or a coffee station access.
But the worst thing was the parking situation. Not only do you get charged $30 a day for the privilege of parking at a parking garage next door to the hotel, the process is ridiculous! When you enter the garage, one must take a ticket, then, after trying to find a parking space (compact cars anyone???) you must stop at the lobby EVERY SINGLE TIME to have it validated with a sticker. If you don’t do this, you are unable to leave the garage! And you have to do this every single time! Going out for a meal? New ticket! Going out to sightsee? New ticket! Just going to get coffee? New ticket! It gets really old.

The hotel is modern and beautiful, very clean. Comfortable bed. Great location within a short walking distance to nice restaurants and the old port. However, we had a problem with unbearable noise. The HVAC system is very loud in the rooms and is heard in the entire building. It’s especially bothersome at night time when it feels as if you are sitting on top of a running jet engine. Also, every morning between 4:00 and 6:00 am we would wake up from a horrendous noise coming from the bottom of the building right underneath our room. It sounded as if a crane was dropping concrete panels on a loading dock and go on for about 15 minutes. Every time that happened we’d look out of the window to see if some heavy machinery was parked near the building, but there was nothing there. Next morning we mentioned this to a staff member who said she would talk to the building technician. Yet the following morning, the issue persisted. Needless to say, we couldn’t sleep or have any rest in the room.
Unlike the hotel management, we think that the noise issue is quite serious, therefore, we cannot recommend staying in this hotel.

The elevators were a bit confusing. One goes to the parking garage and the other only goes to the first floor, where you have to exit the building and go into the garage. Signage for that should be more obvious. A large sign in the first floor lobby should inform first time guests where the front desk is. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Firstly, I had provided an ESA (Emotional Support Animal) letter for my pet. However, despite this, I was informed that the letter was not honored, and I was charged an additional fee for my pet. This was quite unexpected and disappointing, as I had followed all the necessary guidelines in advance.
Secondly, I was told that I had an amenity credit on my account, yet I was still charged an amenity fee. This discrepancy added to the frustration and did not reflect the level of service I expected. I believe in the importance of clear communication and consistency in policy enforcement, and I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future guests.

We had a suite room, which was quite large, with a view of the harbor and cruise ship terminal. Everything needed was provided, and more. We were able to extend checkout an extra hour to accommodate a morning tour we had scheduled, which was much appreciated. Also, the hair dryer was one of the best hotel hair dryers I've ever used.

To start with, please note that you will be charged $25 (plus tax) per night just to stay here for the amenities you MIGHT use (gym, pool, etc); however, you get a $25 allowance each night to spend at the bar or kiosk. First night, we were made to feel guilty for bothering the bartender to make us VERY overpriced drinks and the next night, after waiting 15minute for bar service, we just got 5 bags of chips (yep, $5 per bag for small size chips). Valet is super friendly and helpful when looking for a place to get a drink. The room is nice, but the bed is lumpy, pillows not very supportive. The shower has NOT water pressure and the view is mainly of other buildings. When staying in Old Port, I would HIGHLY recommend looking at other locations. Or, at least read the fine print of additional charges besides what is offered on this website.

The king suite was clean, stocked with a Keurig and coffee pods. Service was efficient, though confusing. We were repeatedly told we would get linen service only if requested, but we got it every day anyway! Only complaint is parking is twice as much in the hotel garage than the parking garages around the hotel. Will stay again, but will park somewhere else.

Overall the hotel was great, and for the cheapest option in the area it is perfect. However, the resort fee is an absurd cash grab and the front desk crew, while checking all the boxes, felt incredibly insincere. Additionally, our room was not cleaned when we got back after long first day out - this hotel asks if you housekeeping, we said yes as this is the biggest benefit versus a rental, and the room was not touched.

Check-in Delays:
Upon arrival, I was informed that my room would be ready in 10 minutes. However, I waited over 2 hours before my room became available. This excessive delay was particularly frustrating as I had travel plans and limited time in Portland.
Room Assignment Issues:
I paid for two rooms together, with both intended to have harbor views. While my friends received their promised harbor view room, I was assigned a room without harbor views despite paying the same premium rate for this amenity.
Room Condition:
Upon settling into my room, I discovered that the bed sheets had a hole in them, indicating poor housekeeping standards and quality control.
Staff Response:
Most concerning was the apparent indifference when I reported these issues during checkout. The lack of acknowledgment or effort to address my concerns suggests a concerning attitude toward guest satisfaction.
