The hotel was steps to the subway and a few stops to roma termini. From there you can connect to the whole of Italy. Restaurants are all over the neighborhood but most closes at 7 pm except for one diner that closes at 11 pm..the only negative (based on our assigned room) is the small shower space which is cramp for an XL-2XL person.....aside from that I will recommend the place

room was okay hard time using hot water in bathroom everytimer hae to message on whatsapp for turning on the hot water he was helpful and easy to rracgh when i need and was very kind in beginning but after asking couple of times for hot water last day he was not even freindly, im sorry bathroom was not very updated toilet wall leaks and he messaged n say kindly turn off the tap when not in use so it dont leak on positive note bfast was in the small bakery in front of the building was very enjoyble and we love eating there sandwish n crossaints for 3 days

Registering for the room was easy. The room was clean and well presented and an excellent value. The host and his wife went above and beyond in caring, friendliness and service. The location was within walking distance of the Vatican Museum and St. Peter's. Breakfast was across the street and he staff there were friednly and provided a quality breakfast. Shopping was available nearby. We loved staying there and would do so again in a minute. Highly recommended!

For the positives the location was extremely close to a subway station which made getting around Rome very easy. The location was clean, the wifi was pretty reliable, and the air conditioning was cooperative. The bed, pillows, and bedding were all decent as well.

For the negatives the bathroom was clean but a nightmare to use. The toilet needed WAY too much time to function in between flushes to the point you dreaded having to use it. It made a horrific noise each and every time you flushed. The shower was small and too prone to letting water escape as well. The entire bathroom was tiny as well.

This place is also inside a larger building - I think it just occupies a single floor. The larger building doesn't have the air conditioning running so any time you are in a general area it is brutally hot. It also means there isn't a reception desk to let you in when you arrive so we had to wait for far too long carrying our bags in that heat waiting for someone to come let us in.

The reception host was very friendly and helpful. The room was a fair size for the cost, and is well located, close enough to taxi it to the main sites in Rome and Vatican. The bed was not so comfortable - with a lumpy mattress, but condition of the room / bathroom was fine. More hooks for towels would have been helpful. WiFi is great and reliable, apartment was quiet. Breakfast is served across the road at Cafe 49, and friendly service there. Overall good!

B&B Perseo is very conveniently located if you are visiting the Vatican or the Vatican museums. It is also very close to Cipro metro station, so you can get to Termini in about 20 minutes with no changes. There are some very good places to eat nearby, especially Voglia di Pane (cafe/bakery) and Eroi della Pizza (suppli and excellent pizza).

I found the bathroom very small and unsafe, easy to slip and fall because there's no room to move and you have climb up to get into the shower. We're medium built and my husband is tall. This was a struggle for us. The room itself is spacious and clean but the bed was uncomfortable as the mattress which has one of those toppers keeps sliding down towards the end of the bed. I felt the communication could be better from the owner. I would not stay here again and would not recommend.

the property is located in a less touristy area so it's nice and quiet, and definitely great for eating at local restaurants. It's also walking distance to Vatican museum so we were able to get there early to line up for tickets. We booked a quadruple room which has a fridge. The only downside is that the bathroom and shower stall is b it tight.

This is an excellent local for the Vatican Museums. It is also about 1 1/2 blocks from Cipro Metro station. Giordano Was very friendly and helpful. The property is an apartment on the 5th floor that has been converted to several suites with no common area other than the entrance hall. There is an elevator. Note that on the buzzer block next to the door, there is a buzzer marked Perseo. Buzz that and he will let you in if he is there.

There are only 3 slight complaints.

No one in Italy seems to use face clothes, just towels. BYO.

The shower door when slid open was rather narrow. I am not slim, but I am not that plump either and I had to breathe in to squeeze through.

The other “problem” is that the toilets are the kind with the water tank way up high on the wall. For some reason the tank for the neighboring suite was in my bathroom. It was rather noisy when the other occupants would flush in the middle of the night.

Even so, with all the pluses, if I go back to Rome, I would definitely stay there again.

Great service, great host, great location. Loved the rooms with the AC and private bathroom. The location is just 2 mins from the metro station and is surrounded by supermarkets (including a 24/7), and great bakeries and charcuterie. The host was incredible. He accommodated us leaving us bags there for another 12 hours as we were taking the night train the day of our check out, which was very generous.

We had a great stay at Preseo B&B, the owner was really nice and accommodating to us. He helped us with our shuttle to and from the airport with ease. The breakfast across the street was good and the coffee was great, the owner of that shop was really friendly. The Preseo is close to the Vatican, about 10-15 minute walk. Everything else was kind of far, between 30-60 minute walk. But if you do not mind walking like I did it wasn't so bad. The local restaurants to eat around the Preseo were good also, there is a organic pizza place right across the street that was magnificent. The only downside was that the area is not in the cleanest part of the city, much like NYC when you leave central NYC. Other than that, this place is worth the money if you are trying to do a budget trip like I did. Thank you.

The place is well located, about 20 minutes walk to the Vatican and 10 minutes from Metro stop. Arrangements for breakfast across the street were good. Only inconvenient was that the owner does not live in the same building and we had to wait about 20 minutes standing on the street with our suitcases. The owner sent me a message by email asking for my arrival time at the airport or train station. However as I was arriving by car I did not have access to Wifi and never received his message until after I checked in. As I did not have phone connection either I needed to go to the hair dresser next door to ask him if I can use his phone. He was nice enough to make the call and talk to the B&B owner who said he was going to be there within 15 minutes. Once we got to the room, all was well and the owner provide a map of Rome.

Sleepless in Rome

First of all it was unclear that the place was located within a residential building and check in was not until 3 pm. The person who owns it comes in before 7am and makes enough noise to wake the dead until he is absolutely sure everyone is awake it is all under the guise of fixing a meager breakfast which I did not partake it since there are so many inexpensive and great places around to get breakfast. Then the expectation is that you must leave your room before 11 am daily for the purpose of cleaning . I assure you there was very little cleaning more like room inspections.
I was there for 3 nights and the sheets were never changed and I have to ask for a change in towels. This is not a place to rest but a money making , pay but don't spend any time in the room, mentality. I asked my Italian friend what the story was, he said that there are certain residential energy plans that have different charges depending on the time of day, owner may be trying to make money not spend money.If you do not need any sleep then by all means stay here, the bed is hard, the owner will make sure to make enough noise so you leave your room and give up on sleep. avoid La Pearla
it is a rip off restaurant that over charges and doesn't even offer bread at the table. Avoid the Tim as well they will take copies of your credit card and passport , overcharge you for a SIM card and then sell your information. There are better places to stay in Rome that are not filled with money hungry vultures.

Lovely B&B in a perfect location

Smooth process from start to finish. We were giving very precise directions to the B&B and the staff ensured they were prepared for our arrival by emailing to confirm our arrival time. We arrived prior to check in and the staff accommodated this for us. They were very friendly and welcoming at check in and throughout our stay. The staff also provided a map of Rome and was very informative with all our questions and what's good to visit and where is good to eat. The room was cleaned daily and the rooms/B&B was extremely clean and had everything you needed for your stay including en suite bathroom, toiletries, hair dryer, mini fridge and air conditioning.

This B&B was in very close walking distance to Vactican City, St Angelo's Castle and all areas surrounding this. The metro station is across the road from the B&B and takes you into the heart of Rome costing €1.50 for a one way trip or €7 for 24 hours.

I would defiantly stay here again and would recommend it to a friend.

When we arrived about 9 pm there was no one there to meet us. We rang the bell a few times before someone arrived by bike to let us in and show us to the room.
It would be helpful to know you have to wait for someone to turn up when you get there. We were worried that we would not be able to get in for the night.

We had a great time at Giordano's BnB. The location was great. The Cipro metro station was a minute from the location. For walkers like us you could walk to Piazza di Spagna and Fontana de Trevi in about 30 minutes. The breakfast location was at a cafeteria right across the street and the cafeteria guys were brilliant and very friendly. Giordano was very helpful as well. We stayed here with a 16 month old and had a wonderful time. The locality was great as well. There is an authentic Italian restaurant about a minute away as was a supermarket. In all I would highly recommend this place. If I ever come back to Rome we will be back here again. Bear in mind this is not a resort, but why on earth would you want a resort in Rome? This is more than ideal. Everything was clean, daily room service, pretty quiet. Thanks Giordano.

Awful, Lies and Misrepresentations by the owner

To start with, it is not in Vatican. There is no breakfast - the title misleads you. To get a croissant, you'd have to walk a couple of blocks. The owner missed our scheduled arrival, the building was locked and we had to wait on the street. The owner would not replace sheets and towels. The museum trip the owner subscribed for us, did not include item he promised would be included. The trip company said the owner knew the actual arrangement and knowingly lied to us.

There were many more issues with our stay in Perseo B&B, but I do not want to spenf more tome on this review, beyond,

Clean, comfortable B&B near the Vatican

Our host was lovely, and greeted us upon arrival. The bed was the softest we've had so far, and the sheets were deliciously clean and crisp. The room is small, but has nearly everything you could wish for including a small refrigerator. Breakfast is a coupon for a small cafe across the road. The people there are lovely, and a joy to great each morning. The breakfast isn't big, but it's really nice, fresh, and well worth nipping over for. WIFI is really strong, good enough to stream Netflix. The train station is a 5 minute walk down the road, and Vatican city is a brisk 15 minute walk away. If we return to Rome, we will definitely stay here again.

This was our base for seeing the sights in Rome. The Vatican is very close. A metro station is also very close, so access to other sites is very good. Buses are another matter. They are somewhat more difficult to figure out and you can waste a lot of time waiting around or finding the correct stop. Your breakfast hosts are across the street, and they are terrific. They will make up lunches for you to take with you for the day, and you can try out their dinners as well.

The biggest problem was the noise from the street traffic which was very loud no matter the hour. Closing the windows and the windows shades didn't help much. Also, the plumbing and the ventilation system from the bathroom were very noisy (constant knocking and wheezing when using the bathroom).
The hotel is very close to metro station and close to Vatican.

Great Value for Money but Have Exact Change

Perseo is a cozy and pleasant Bed & Breakfast in the Prato neighborhood in Rome, very close (400 m/quarter mile) to the Vatican and conveniently located just across the street from a Metro/subway station. The service is good, the breakfast they serve is typical Italian (yogurt, orange juice, coffee, \"cornetto\" pastry, rusks, butter & jam) and is delicious, but they only serve it between 8-10 which can be late if you plan on starting your days early. The rooms are spacious but very basic; you will not find refrigerators in them so avoid buying food or snacks that needs to be refrigerated. The bed is comfortable; the walls are a bit thin so you might occasionally hear neighbors or the maid in the morning. The bathroom and shower are nice, clean, and sufficiently spacious. When paying, keep in mind that they only accept cash (no credit or debit card); make sure to have exact change as they will otherwise round the amount up to your expense (we \"lost\" six Euros which is not much but can leave an aftertaste). Overall, the stay was pleasant and the facility offers very good value for money for a B&B in Rome. I recommend Perseo without reservations.

Very hard to get in as unattended and the phone number we had wasn't working / connecting. Don't try to use a public phone at Termini station as they don't work! Room is clean, smallish and basic - not even a water glass, so don't hope for a kettle. Breakfast is served in your room by a sweet lady (no English), who bangs around from 8am to ensure you are awake. Great location, friendly neighbourhood. The lady who let me in the building said \"we have many tourists who sit on the steps waiting\", which kind of says it all.

We had to leave early for the airport on our last morning and Renata was very kind enough to arrange transportation for us to get to the airport. Since we had to leave before breakfast she also prepared breakfast for us and left it in our room the night before so we could have something to eat or even take with us.
Our room was very large and comfortable with clean bathroom and it was very close to a metro station and bus stop, as well as walking distance to the Vatican.
We would definately stay here again and recommend it to others.

When we arrived Renata, a receptionist, welcomed us with a big smile. You are usually asked in advance to sent her an email with arriving details so she knows when she can expect you as it's a small B&B and she is not there all the time. Our room was cleaned every day. Breakfast was great with some fresh pastry and a lovely cappuccino. We also bought some food on a local market and asked her to put it into a big fridge for us. She is so kind and helpful really trying her best and makes you feel like at home.
You can pay only by cash so make sure you've got enough as I believed I would be able to pay by a credit card.
I think end of March, April and May are the best month for visiting this unique city. Vatican museum worth a visit and you might want to go there the last Sunday in a month, when is a free entrance. But must be there at 7:30 'coz of a huge queue. There is so much to see and go... Try to speak a bit Italian it's appreciated :)

テルミニ駅からメトロで数駅のCipro駅から徒歩2-3分でどこに行くにも便利でした。周辺の治安も良く食事や食料品の買い物にも良い場所です。困ったことがあれば、Giordanoが親切に対応してくれました。部屋は広くはないですが、清潔で収納場所も十分あり快適でした。

Abbiamo prenotato in questa struttura per due notti, eravamo in quattro con due bambine.

Molto apprezzabile la vicinanza alla metro, poco distante i musei vaticano e Piazza San Pietro.
Proprietario gentile e disponibile ci ha tenuto in custodia i bagagli anche dopo aver effettuato il checkout.
Quando torneremo a Roma andremo molto probabilmente in questa struttura.

Das Frühstück konnte zugebucht werden und wurde beim Bäcker gegenüber eingenommen. das war praktisch.
Außerdem stand im Flur ein kostenloser Kaffee-/Teeautomat zur Verfügung. Das war echt klasse.
Zur Metro nur 2 Gehminuten. Perfekt.

Très belle chambre. Très propre. A côté d’une station de métro. Plusieurs restaurants et épicerie à proximité. Un peu à l’extérieur des points d’intérêts de Rome mais permet de découvrir d’autres quartiers. Je recommande.

Abbiamo soggiornato in una camera tripla per un weekend. Posizione della struttura ottima, in quanto, situata a pochissimi metri (all'incirca 10) dalla metro che consente spostamenti per la città in maniera efficiente. La camera è stata trovata pulitissima e dotata dei comfort elementari. Giordano, il proprietario, si è dimostrato disponibile fornendoci le informazioni necessarie per effettuare il check-in anche in tarda serata. Consigliatissimo

La ubicación es muy buena estás a unos pasos del metro y esa línea te lleva a casi todas la atracciones de Roma y caminando llegas al vaticano , está a solo una estación de metro, el desayuno te lo dan en una cafetería típica siciliana en la calle de enfrente con una estupenda atención , lo único que no me gusto fue que en el departamento se oía mucho ruido de bomba de agua en la noche , el lugar es limpio , seguro , con muchos negocios al rededor , un barrio típico italiano

Great week at Rome

Room was very nice, clean and comfortable. There was very good air conditioning which was really nice because there was so hot out side. Location was great, near at Cipro metro station so it was easy to go everywhere. The neighbourhood was also great, lot of small cafes and restaurants. The host Giordano was also very nice person. I would totally recommend Perseo to everyone who is going to Rome.

Localizado muy cerca de la estación de metro cipro! La limpieza en general fue correcta, pero el último día y cuando ya nos íbamos ni papel higiénico nos dejaron! Las toallas las cambian cada dos dias! En la medida en que el vuelo salía a las 19 pm le pedimos al dueño para dejar nuestras maletas en un lugar custodiado o cerrado y nos dijo que para ello fuéramos a la estación termini o en su defecto que las dejáramos en un pasillo (común a las restantes habitaciones). Razón por la cual decidimos irnos a las 11 am al aeropuerto! En ese sentido no son muy atentos ni comprensivos con el turista!

We had two rooms, one was with balkony. Both were clean, big and nice. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The location of the hotel is really great. All the sightseens are very convienient to reach. The only disadvantage is that it is very noisy. For those who do not mind the noise it is a perfect place to stay.

Perfekt til vores behov.

Perseo B&B ligger helt fantastisk i forhold til metro og tog, så at komme derud var ingen sag. Det ligger også kun 10 minutter gang fra Vatikanet, og 20 minutters gang fra nærmeste hop on-hop off bus. Vi blev taget godt imod af venligt personale og vores ophold har alt i alt ret fantastisk. Det eneste minus er dog at stedet er lidt svært at finde fra gaden af, det tog lige 5 minutter.

Отель находится в районе Ватикана, совсем не далеко от метро. Район считается спальным, но наши окна выходили как раз на проезжую часть. Очень слышно было проезжающие машины ( даже при закрытых окнах.). Но мы так сильно уставали за весь день, что засыпали быстро и в принципе нас шум не сильно беспокоил. В отеле очень чисто, вкусно пахнет. Wi fi работает хорошо. Номер у нас был на троих. Удобная система выселения. Мы просто оставили ключи, захлопнули дверь и уехали. Единственный минус - это подушки))) Они очень не удобные. Рекомендовала бы хозяевам их поменять на более мягкие и низкие. В остальном все окей.

Das Hotel ist eine scheinbar umgebaute Wohnung, welche in 4 Zimmer umfunktioniert wurde. Von der Straße aus nicht zu erkennen, da ein Türschild nicht vorhanden war.
Das Badezimmer ist recht klein, ebenso die Dusche.

Das Zimmer verfügte über ausreichend Stauraum für Kleidung etc. Im Schrank war eine Geldkasette im Schrank integriert, welche als Safe fungierte und abgeschlossen werden konnte.

Die Lage selbst war gut, da die Metrostation Cipro nur ca 150m entfernt war.

Was mich persönlich jedoch störte ist das die Heizung nachts aufgehört hat zu heizen und wir zwei von vier Nächten dadurch wachgeworden sind.

Preisleistung soweit gut, was sicherlich an dem Reisezeitraum Ende Januar 2019 lag
