The room was extremely hot, and there was no fan available to help with ventilation. There was also a strong smell of food coming from the kitchen throughout my stay. In addition, the kitchen extractor system appeared to run for much of the day, creating a constant loud noise that only stopped when the kitchen was no longer operating.
The hotel's main advantage is its convenient location for catching an early morning ferry.
One disappointment was breakfast arrangements. As the kitchen does not open until 8:00 a.m., I was unable to have breakfast before my early departure. I later discovered in the hotel information booklet that a packed breakfast can be prepared for guests leaving early. It would have been helpful if the receptionist had mentioned this at check-in.
Overall, I would not choose to stay here again. Considering the price, I did not feel the facilities and overall experience offered good value for money.
