Comfortable room—on the smaller side, but it worked well for our stay. The hotel’s location is very central and convenient. Parking during check-in was a bit difficult because there wasn’t an easy place to stop the car to register. Customer service could use some improvement. Some of the morning staff were very friendly and helpful, but the night staff seemed less informed, which made parts of the stay a bit frustrating. Overall, the location was excellent, and the room was comfortable.

We arrived on motorcycle and were easily directed to the underground car park by a receptionist. When parked we were accompanied by a very helpful member of staff to reception and brought a couple of very much needed bottles of water.
The room was very nice and well set out. The hotel is very central and we walked everywhere.
To send us on our way we had a great breakfast from the buffet that had everything.
A definite place to stay when in Zaragoza.

The hotel is clean, but its best days are behind it. Access to the hotel parking lot is difficult. The navigation system directs you to the parking lot of a neighboring hotel. The air conditioning and ventilation in the room are poor. The cooling is regulated to 22 degrees Celsius . I had to sleep with the window open and put up with street noise.

The room and bathroom were very comfortable. The sheets on the bed were not very soft so I found them to be scratchy. The paid parking was accessible to the hotel lobby so that was GREAT. It was challenging to find it, but the staff were very helpful and gave us perfect directions to the garage. Staff was super! Everything was very walkable to the hotel.

Absolutely brilliant hotel in old town Zaragoza

Absolutely brilliant hotel. Room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bathroom was also immaculate with great water pressure in the shower. Staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Hotel is well-located in the old town part of Zaragoza. Really excellent value and would highly recommend.

The hotel was empty and they gave us a room with no window. The room is so tiny, you can’t fit your suitcase anywhere. And no window. It’s basically a closet. Horrible.

The negatives: The price was high for what was received. The rooms are small. If arriving by car, it's virtually impossible to check-in before parking in the parking lot, which is on the back side of the hotel and not the easiest to find. If driving, call ahead to get parking lot instructions (have your plate number handy when you push the reception call button).

The positives. The hotel is in a great area to be able to walk to many historical sites, dining, and shopping. The hotel restaurant has a couple very good tapas plates (humus, french fries, Iberian ham.

It was very challenging to find the hotel and the parking. It was also very frustrating that if you opened the balcony door to go out it shut off the A/C until you came back into the room and turned it back on again. Every other hotel we have stayed in, yes the A/C turns off when you open the balcony door but would turn back on once we shut it from the balcony.

Disappointing stay

Hotel facilities were so-so. small room and bathroom. needs remodeling. Parking was 20 euros and a parking structure that was extremely difficult to navigate. small and crowded spaces with many pillars hard to miss. Pricing for stay was $390.00 Euros for 1 night.

Not a 4 star hotel

Some of the Property amenities advertised by Hotels.com on the property listing do not exist. Specifically:

• "Iron/ironing board (on request)". I was given an iron but refused an ironing board. Very snappy lady on reception said that I could only have the iron "as an exception, when there are no maids" and that I couldn't have an ironing board to go with it - I'd have to iron on the bed. Yes, really: I double checked this with her !

• "Coffee shop": whilst I stayed there were no facilities to get a hot drink during the day. No equipment in room, no machine in hallway/lobby etc and no coffee shop or bar open. I was told I'd have to wait until the bar opened at 7pm or go to a local cafe !

(Also note that buffet breakfast ends at 10am, not 11am as stated on Hotels.com listing.)

Other strange behaviour:

The maid refused to change the dirty drinking glasses from our room part way through our stay: she said she didn't have any new ones to give us.

The maid removed our second keycard from the room whilst we were out. We had left it in the keycard holder by the door, but no lights were left on and the air conditioning wasn't on either, so there was no reason to take this without our permission.

I would have raised these issues at the reception desk on leaving but there was no engagement (no "how was your stay ?" or "thank you for staying with us", for example).

Overall, a very odd place and not worthy of a 4 star rating.

Having stayed in many Vinci hotels across Spain, this one was very basic and run down. The room was unpleasant. Only stayed for one night and would not return. The staff, however, were very helpful and professional. The hotel needs some improvements and the bedrooms updated and made more comfortable.

It may sound strange but uniqueness off this hotel is mainly related to the luck of modern design properties in so called "old World"; in this respect this hotel is more or less modern with good quality construction material and design. No extravaganza, just minimalist design, A/C and what's even more unique is excess to the underground parking from the main floor))))

Great location. Nice room. Very short walking distance to so much. Hotel parking is expensive; we parked about four blocks away at public underground parking with surveillance and very clean for half the price and just left the car there: 8 Euros/day. The first day we just parked and walked to the hotel if circling twice; you won't be able to just pull up in front since the hotel is on a busy traffic road.

Very welcoming reception staff and bar staff. Cleaner friendly and helpful re more shampoo & shower gel. Air con good, but goes off when you go out on balcony even when you shut the glass door, so must remember to reset when you come back in the room. Parking excellent, underground and secure, once parked didn't need it again as able to walk everywhere, got tourist map from information which showed how close everything was. Hotel was central to all the sites to see, 5mins to first plaza, with food places and The Good Burger for late nite snack when returning from the Basilica del Pilar, and the museums and cafes, bars and tapas in the square the Plaza del Pilar which was about 15min walk away. Great ice cream shop 3mins from hotel, which was close enough to get and take back to enjoy on balcony. A couple of mins walk from hotel on the corner was a quaint cafe La Bendita, where you could have a mid morning coffee & cake, or tapas & beer, but was also a buzzing bar of all ages early evening onwards. Lots of historic sites to see close 1400hrs to 1700hrs then open again. Only stayed 3 nites, but will definitely return to the Vincci as still places to see and go, it is a lovely city. Only one thing missing for me was coffee facilities in the room, but great coffee downstairs available. Buses and trams available but didn't use them this time.

The hotel location is great and breakfast is good. I did not like the fact that the morning receptionist wanted to charge us per hour for exceeding the 12:00 noon checkout time even though we told them the day before that we want to be a couple of hours late in checkout and they said it was OK without mentioning any extra charges. Also being an expedia gold member and having stayed in that hotel at least twice before, I find it annoying to ask for such amount.

Good location; with bus 19 you get to downtown touring the city. Nearby mab'ny choices, stores, supermarket, restaurant. Bicycles ready at the door if desired. The beach is not far but not at walking distance -particularly if you are tied to kids. Hotel elevator to P - also avail at 17eu/day. Nearby Aquatic and Space centers fill the days for kids and families.
