First the positives: Decent sized room; clean; good natural lighting. Comfortable beds. Bathroom; good size; clean; toiletries provided. No internal noise. Effective blackout curtains.
The negatives: Very noisy outside – this is a route for 4/5 bus services and buses go past every few minutes. The windows are double glazed but don’t stop the noise completely. Impossible to keep the windows open for long, especially as there is a local hangout for youths 20m away.
The a/c wasn’t very effective but then it seemed to give up completely. When I went down to report this, the duty manager explained that they had just switched the system over from summer (cooling mode) to winter (heating mode) so nothing could be done. As our room was in full sun all afternoon, by the time we got back in the room was sweltering. Opening the window would have just let more hot air in (not to mention the noise). The manager did ask if a fan would help. Unfortunately, it was just a portable fan heater that was ineffective. So the last 3 days were very uncomfortable from early afternoon onwards.
Finally, we ere told that they only provided complimentary tea/coffee on the first day. They did however say they would try to provide occasional top-ups. I have never encountered such a policy in any hotel I have ever stayed in.
All in all, this is not a hotel I would recommend for anything or for anything other than an overnight stop.

Pros: conveniently close to historic area and good variety of restaurants. Cons: the room at the top of the building, there was no air conditioner and no fan, and the temperature was over 40°C / 100°F+. I went downstairs and explained this problem to the manager and he said he could not turn on the air conditioner due to a royal decree. They told us that we could go out and return at night and open the window: we did and the noise was unbearable. We could not sleep well, and they did not attempt to move us toa cooler floor.

Hector at the front desk always went out of his way to be helpful eg. calling a cab, helping us book train tickets etc. He greeted all clients with a warm smile and his English was excellent. His restaurant suggestions also were much appreciated.

At the art of Zaragoza this hotel reside a very noisy neiguberhood, my room window was fasing another building windows in a way that I couldn't open the curtun to let some light in.
The wall are paper thin and you can hear every movement in the neerby room. One elevator didn't work and there is no parking if your car weighs more than 2000 kilos. the street was full of drunk people and the police are frequently visiting the area. the hotel staff was very good and kind, with good english and ready to assist with any problem.

I booked a room for Tuesday night to break up a 1700km drive. My car broke down and I tried contacting the hotel to ask if they could change my booking to the following night as my car was being repaired.
The phones did not work/no one answered me or Hotels.com when they tried on my behalf.
Hotels.com sent them an urgent request which was ignored. I ended up having to sleep in the boot of my car.
The courtesy of a reply I would have thought the minimum. I will never use this hotel group again

If you come by public transportation...

Good location and very near the bus stop which direct to Central Train and Bus. There were a couple of bottle water in the room which is nice. Breakfast was ok. It could be better. I recomend to add babanas. Room was big and quiet.

Very clean, well priced and functional hotel for exploring the city. Comfy beds and friendly service at the desk. A good option for this price bracket.
Only drawback was the room was baking hot and the heating/control panel didn't seem to work. Luckily we could open the windows to let some fresh air in :-)
Would happily use again if in the city.

Fair value for money, on a bit depressive area.

I´ve been at this hotel few years ago, and the hotel quality and services have been decreased in general. A renovation should be done. There is not Breakfast service at a restaurant, of course they offer for free some fruit and coffee, a bit poor for being on a Hesperia Hotel I think. Good cleaning and bed are still good points.

Great location, car park lift is v narrow!

Hotel in great location, 10 min flat walk to the main streets & tapas area. Bed & pillows were comfortable & bathroom nice with toiletries. Breakfast was decent too. The road noise outside is however constant day & night, so depending on the room location in the hotel, you may want ear plugs. We used the underground parking: Warning...you must be a good driver & with a car no larger than 3 series bmw, definitely no larger & not 4x4. There is a v v tight car lift & once you are on a parking floor, you return back out the same way with v tight turns around concrete walls! To change floors (i.e turn your car back around) to find a space on another floor is quite scary! Once parked, it’s fine, €16/night.

This hotel is certainly worth checking out, large spacious bedroom, very clean and modern with a generous size bathroom. An entrance hallway with wardrobe contained therein. Being a weekend we were able to park on the forecourt in front of the hotel thus avoiding the extra cost of using their car park. Fairly closely situated to the city centre & within easy walking distance of all the major sights.
The only disappointment was at breakfast and with a large coach party staying were unable to cope with the numbers. The coffee machine broke down and they had to resort to hot water flasks etc. Overall well worth considering though.

The best part is the location!

A true three star hotel as expected. The best part is the location. It is just a short 10 minute walk to the Aljaferia and the same to Neustra Señora de Pilar and the old city. They have a aprking garage on premises, at a reasonable extra charge.

Highly recommend NH Hotel Zaragoza Centro

Firstly, we had an SUV with a roof box, the hotel underground car park door was broken and the height of the vehicle ruled out local public car parks. The duty manager allowed us to park in the covered portico area in front of the hotel which really saved the day. The rooms were comfortable and the location was perfect for easy access to the town centre, 5-10 mins walk. Overall a fantastic choice of hotel.

Nice hotel in the center of Zaragoza

Lovely hotel in Zaragoza, within walking distance of town and easy to get to from train station (bus 34).
Room was well laid out and had all that we needed (including a fridge).
Ended up staying another night as was a relaxing and enjoyable place to stay.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Highly recommend.

Nice Hotel If You can get to it!

We drove, I had updated my GPS before we left but it still wanted to take us down a street that you couldn't drive on to get to the hotel. They have build a tram line so make sure you know how to get there before you go. You use car elevator to get to the parking and the parking is very tight. Once you find it, the hotel is in a great location, close to the sights and the old town. Easy walking to everything.

A hotel not to come back

I am not the kind of person who spend a lot of time in a hotel room so I usually don't care much about them, but this one deserves a bad review.
The room was tiny, and I mean tiny. We had to bend to no touch the ceiling on some parts of the room.
The window was on the high part of the ceiling, so high we couldn't even open it or close it.
The toiled was dirty... disgusting.
The air-conditioning didn't work.

Ideal hotel for us when visiting family in Zaragoza. 5 minutes walk to historical main center area, and with brilliant connections by bus and tram to everywhere else in the city, including the train and bus stations. Very friendly staff, always there to help, and specially nice with children. Reduced prices due to noisy and not particularly pleasant neighbourhood, but we were at the hotel only to sleep, so never a problem.

Arrived in the afternoon and went to speak to reception about getting into the underground car park. Reception were very. Helpful. Once parked we were able to check in. In the lift to our room we. Found a notice saying that the restaurant was closed all weekend however breakfast was available. This was a disappointment as it meant we would have to find our own food on the first evening which was a very busy Saturday night.
Our room was at the back of the hotel so very quiet. We slept very well.
Breakfast each morning was the usual Spanish fare with the option of various cooked eggs and/or bacon and sausages.
The parking was great for us and our stay was very nice.

Bring you own food!

We had an excellent room and were well received at Reception on arrival.

Unfortunately, the resturant wasn't open and w were very hungry after a long drive. Not speaking the language, we found it impossible to find a café/resturant around the hotel area serving food and ended up in a pastry shop with nothing more than a roll and coffee at 9pm! Not the best diet!

Acceptable hotel close to all major sights.

The room was spacious and well-equipped, though we didn't find a corkscrew in it. Upon closer inspection, it appeared worse than at first glance - the room was not very clean, with lots of hair lying here and there in the bathroom. Beds are good, though. Value for money could be better.

Good Location for Walking the City

Room had no window(s) just small skylight. Very small room.TV remote did not work and they had a dickens of a time finding batteries.The Wi di went down soon after we arrived and did not get fixed as long as we were there. Parking is on site but you pay for it..not cheap! Bar food and drinks were overpriced as in most Euro hotels..they do not get the connection to greater sales. Great location and clean rooms. Friendly staff that speaks passable English

Admite mascotas, y a pesar de no tener nada en la habitación(camita,bebedero), puedes desayunar junto a tu perro en un comedor diferente al del desayuno.
