We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and located right in the heart of the city. The central location made it incredibly easy to walk to restaurants, attractions, shopping, and everything we wanted to see.

The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout our stay. Breakfast each morning was outstanding, with a great selection and a wonderful start to the day.

A couple of things to keep in mind: because of the hotel’s prime location in the center of town, there can be some nighttime noise from the surrounding area. Also, be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to reach your room, as there is quite a bit of stair climbing involved.

There were a few discrepancies between the listing and our experience. The property description stated that a laundry facility was available, but there was not one on-site. In addition, the listing advertised memory foam beds. Our bed did not appear to be memory foam; it was quite springy and bouncy, and felt like it may be due for replacement.

Despite those issues, the cleanliness, amazing location, excellent breakfast, and outstanding staff made this a very enjoyable stay.

Right in the center of history. Modern unit in an ancient building. Steps from the famous Quattro Canti and visible from the balcony when there are performers each evening. Magical. Even though it is busy during the day and evening, the unit is very well insulated and not noisy at all inside.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very attentive, responsive, and helpful throughout our visit, thank you Alin! As international travelers without local phone service, we especially appreciated the excellent communication through Whats App, which made check-in and any questions very easy to handle.

The room was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable, providing a great night's sleep after long days of sightseeing. The property felt safe and secure, and the location was outstanding. It is situated right next to one of the most popular streets in the area, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops just a one-minute walk away. There is a gate to access and then get into the hotel.

Overall, this is an excellent place to stay, especially for international travelers. Great service, comfortable accommodations, and a fantastic location. Highly recommended.

My partner and I really enjoyed staying at inCanto. It's right by the main square of Palermo so it was really close to everything that we wanted to see or visit. The street just being is all restaurants so you won't have to worry about going hungry.
The staff, Alin, was extremely helpful, professional, and friendly. He took the time to explain the breakfast and everything within the B&B as well as made many excellent recommendations for food we were looking for.
Given the opportunity, I will definitely try to stay here again. I would recommend definitely recommend staying here!

Our four night stay at inCanto was fantastic! The location is so convenient - just steps away from Quattro Canti. Alin and his staff made our stay so comfortable. We had a huge king bed room with a large terrace that overlooked the street, where we had our made-to-order breakfast every morning while being serenaded by opera singers busking in the square. (The 30-something tenor with the beard and aviator glasses was our fave!) Amazing stay!!

AC wasn’t cool enough but it wasn’t too hot in the room either since you can leave the balcony doors open - and it gets cold at night. The service was excellent - Alin the manager even picked us up from where we parked our car since we’re not familiar with the place. The hotel is actually great!! Very clean and they keep it up everyday even if you don't request for it. It’s walking distance to everything and right in the corner is Quattro Canti. Loved the proximity of this hotel to everything - if you get tired, you can take a quick nap and go out again later in the day.

Location was excellent - close to major sites, restaurants, shops, and about a 10 minute walk to train station. The property manager, Alyn, was very responsive, kind, and helpful. No front desk but communication via WhatsApp went well. Breakfast staff was nice too. Breakfast was very good - enough options to start the day with the option to have breakfast in your room or in communal area. You choose breakfast options the night before and leave the information outside the door. Note about the standard double room: bathroom privacy is not optimal. Bathroom door is a sliding door. Shower can be seen from the rest of the room as shower is separated by smoke color glass. One can slide bathroom door over to cover shower window, but that leaves rest of bathroom partly exposed. Possible consideration if you are sharing room with someone you do not know too well or are not very close to. There are no lifts, and there are quite a few stairs. Going up and down and even taking a moderately heavy carry on can exert a lot of energy, especially if there are mobility issues. Also, only had one room key card so had to coordinate entry into room if we split up for a while. All in all, great stay and would likely stay here again (probably in a different room) as long as we do not have mobility issues.

You really can’t have a better location, close to all major attractions, the rooms are cleaned daily and the breakfast which you pick the night before has plenty to pick from, bed was comfortable in a nice size room compared to other rooms in Europe, remember your not in the United States.

Location was ideal, a few steps from Via Victorio Emanuelle.I had to leave early in the morning so I did not have complimentary breakfast, but the menu was extensive. The room was comfortable and well lit, the bathroom was large, the hotel manager Alin was attentive and responsive. The only negative for me was that my room was on the third floor walk up with steep stairs.

A very nice up-market B&B in the heart of historic Palermo. The room was spotlessly clean and quite spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Location is just minutes away from major attractions such as the Cathedral and Royal Palace. Be aware that you have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to the apartments so may be a problem if you have mobility issues.

The drive to parking was VERY tight but we made it. You’ll keep fit with the stairs but you’ll not beat the location of this place, right in the centre of all the action, lots of restaurants and shopping.

This was my favourite hotel out of the 6 I stayed at in Sicily. I was originally trying to cancel it because I accidentally booked it with the non refundable rate. I asked the hotel if they would let me cancel and rebook a refundable rate but the communication back and forth was taking so long and it was getting frustrating so I just decided to keep the reservation and I am so glad that I did not cancel. The room we booked was just like the pictures and had two walkouts to the balcony with amazing views! We loved people watching from it and seeing all the entertainment in the Quattro Canti square. They also served us breakfast in the room which we had on our balcony. The location was just perfect and the hotel room was very nice and modern. It is a bit noisy because it is so close to the main square so if you are sensitive to noise then this might not be the place for you but I didn't mind it. They also provide robes and slippers which was great. The only tips/suggestions I would say is that you need to ensure the shower door is properly closed otherwise water gets all over the floor, and this must have happened many times previously as the laminate flooring in front of the bathroom bubbled up. Also they provide a nespresso machine which is a great touch but they charge to use the capsules. Considering the cost of the the hotel room I think they should offer those and a bottle of water free of charge instead of charging in the mini bar.

When I first arrived, I was a bit scared. - a narrow street and locked door - no stuff at the entrance, no lift. I could not find how to get in. Kind people who speak Italian , passers-by, helped me. They took my luggage upstairs . I would not be able to do it.myself.
But the room was surprising big, comfortable and modernised, so was the shower. Bed was confrontable with good bedding, and changed during my week stay. Room was cleaned daily, . A very convenient location. You can't find better. Though stuff does not speak any English, I was able to communicate via WhatsApp and always was getting a quick reply. Al what I askes - extra pillows. tea kettle - were fulfilled. Breakfast was served on time, but it was to what I would like to have and with no much variety. But around there are plenty of nice food places. So I would say 0 by the end, when I accustomed to the circumstances - It was a pleasant stay.

This property is extremely convenient for the historic centre of Palermo with the Quattro Canti being just outside. The restaurants and shops are within walking distance as are most of the main attractions. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the breakfast is good. The staff were very obliging.
Their are some aspects which may not suit everyone:-
The reception is only manned in the morning so it is self check in and entry via a key safe. No lift so be prepared to carry suitcases up one or two flights of stairs. There is street music in the evenings just outside which is nice but can go on past midnight so light sleepers beware.

Very comfortable, excellent breakfast, perfect location right next to streets with shopping/restaurants/nightlife. No front desk but staff was quickly responsive via Whatsapp for any needs. Only other thing to note is that it's stairs only and down a cobblestone street too narrow for cars which may be tricky for the elderly or disabled, but no problem for us. Very comfy stay!

Very comfortable and fantastic host who really helped us out by arranging transportation to the beach when other plans we had made fell through at the last minute. Location was perfect. Able to walk streets with plenty of restaurants etc. only 2 issues . Instruction for air conditioning were not there. I asked for help and was told the wall it was on. We never got it working,

Other issue, info stated breakfast was a 8:00, if you need it earlier let them know. I told them we leave at 7:30 for the train could we get breakfast at 6:30 -7 and was told they can’t provide that early. Why ask then say no. So we had to spend another 20 euros for bakery items at the train station.

This is a great property that is very centrally located. The instructions on how to get in are easy to understand, it is a walk up, so be prepared to have to bring your luggage up the stairs with you. We did hear some outside street noise but it wasn't too bad. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were nice and the breakfast in the morning were great. I would stay here again.

The bathroom door was a sliding door and there was no way to lock it or secure it. It gradually opened itself after pulling shut which allowed us to watch each other pooping. Also the paneling adjacent to the sliding door, revealed when the sliding door was shut, was transparent. So even when the bathroom door was shut we could watch each other showering. And pooping. Interesting design choice. Bold, but not what I would have done.

InCanto was a great choice for our stay in Palermo. Very central location, easy walk to any part of the city center. The staff was kind, very good communication, what i really appreciate as i was driving there and they help me a lot to get in to a safe place to park. The room was huge, the quality of everything bed, the breakfast, bath products was great. I loved the cheese toast, the mermelada and the oat milk cappuccino. They are very attentive and care about each detailed. I hoghly recommend this place.

Note that there is no elevator. This is the ONLY thing that might pose a problem if you have mobility issues. Otherwise, quattro continue is right there! There are buskers, but I enjoyed and relaxed to their music. Excellent restaurants and cafes, close to most historical sights, lovely hosts.

The accommodation scores really well. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. However, the location is a blessing and a curse. While it’s super central, the noise from the street below is insane. It certainly drove us to insanity.

I expect normal hustle and bustle, but this was another level. Every night a ragtag group of buskers set up and murder various classics into the small hours. It went on until 1:45am one night. Trust me, we felt every minute of that.

For that reason alone, I wouldn’t recommend this property.

No elevator which is a major consideration to referring. Noise at night below our windows aggravating as far as trying to get some sleep .

Pro: great location in heart of city. Walk to everything. Clean and modern.
Cons: very noisy at night/ most rooms are street facing and not properly sound proof. AC in room super weak and ineffective for a room that size with high ceilings. I asked for an additional fan and was told not possible. This was a really hot august in Sicily.

Had an amazing stay here. A very comfortable modern room with an incredible view. Staff was amazing as well. A lot of street noise/music however it didn't bother us much!
