We had a beautiful room we did have to ask for extra toilet paper and it was a bit noisy outside on if you were sitting on the balcony but nothing to bad just trucks coming and going once in a while. There are houses behind the that do block some of the view but we could still se some water from our room which was nice. Plenty of parking but one elevator was down the entire time but it didn’t hold us up at all. We have stayed at Sandestin before just at a different location and we liked next door a bit better.

Everything was ok except I had move to different unit in middle of the stay on a Saturday. Ask me to be ready around 9am for transition but it did occur before 11:45 so with packing and a unpacking it blocked 6-7 hours of that day. No remorse. Was not given any form of relief. Just an apology. And that for a premium price. So be aware.

I loved the location of the Bay Club Sandestin, and the amenities of the area.
We had access to 3 outdoor pools (2 heated), and there was a trolley to the beach area. We were able to visit other local attractions with just a 15min drive.
Within the community there was a dedicated walking path that was beautiful and well maintained.
My only complaint is that the actual unit we were staying in, while well-appointed was actual dirty. Walking through the unit after a shower resulted in visibly dirty feet. The showers and bath tub needed to be scrubbed, there was buildup of scum on the bottom of the shower. The kitchen was clean enough, but the dishwasher was dirty enough that I hand washed all dishes rather than put anything in there.

The room was spacious and initially impressive but closer inspection revealed extensive wear and tear, as well as signs of neglectful upkeep. The mattresses were especially disappointing and felt very low quality - they were so uncomfortably soft from age that we slept very poorly throughout the stay. We checked out a day early due to these poor conditions.

The property had a shooting in the pool area. A person waved a gun at the attendees at the pool then shot himself in the pool. When we asked front desk if it was safe after it happened they provided 0 information. Traumatic for so many. We also found a cockroach within the hotel picture below. No parking if you wanted to go to the other pools.

This is not a hotel, it’s a timeshare.
Upon arrival they told us we will have a room change the next morning because the people assigned to the time-share will be arriving the next day.
The condos are not cleaned thoroughly, we had to ask the front desk to send someone to vacuum the carpet of our second condo; it was obviously dirty with food crumbs, toe nails, dirt. They don’t dust either, we ended up doing our own dusting and cleaning surfaces once we moved in.
The couches are old and look dirty, we used bed sheets to put on top on couches so we can seat on it. We also didn’t walk bare feet on the carpet even after they vacuumed, it just looked old and dirty.
The climb from the parking lot up to the condo was disappointing and not welcoming, the hallways floors were dirty and dark.
As far as the rest of the Sandestin resort, it was nice and no complaint there. We were able to enjoy the beach area, pool, laundry and restaurant.
The employees working in the building were friendly and helped with our needs.

My husband and I brought our 2 daughters 18 & 10 to visit from Indianapolis. We were SO happy with the room and property. But the food at Restaraunt’s we tried on site was not good and Hugh priced. We ordered those giant cocktails for $35 and they didn’t even give us a buzz at all. My ribs were dry and the ribs and sides tasted old like leftovers heated in microwave, my daughters shrimp were small and didn’t get very many, My husband got the brisket and it was like a leftover that had been cooked earlier and then reheated and dry. For the price it was bad. We had a few bites and no one wanted to finish their meals. We give it a 3/10 … However the morning breakfast from the restaurant Ruby Slipper was very good. I had yummy biscuits and gravy with eggs cooked perfectly and the gravy flavor was great. My latte there was good too. Daughters loved their French toast bites and their blt with fried green tomato’s! She loved her ice coffee there too. We would go back to that restaurant. We also ate at the Marina restaurant for dinner and drinks and it was a 6/10 with the drinks being the perk. Doriotes nachos were ok, Chicken pineapple fajitas were good.
Overall, the Beach and pool were great Room was great, bed was comfy.
Overall we had a lovely trip and when we visit again we would sadly go off site to eat. We did eat off site at Olive Garden once too and it was 7/10 but much better than resort food.

My experience with this property and Expedia was absolutely unacceptable and deeply disappointing. After traveling 12 exhausting hours with my two children, we arrived at the hotel only to find it completely unstaffed. No one was there to help us check in, and despite multiple calls to both the property and Expedia, we received no assistance. I had no choice but to find another hotel late at night, paying out of pocket just to shelter my family.

During my discussions with Expedia, the agent stated that I had to check in between 4 PM and 5 PM or I would not be able to check in at all. This policy is completely unrealistic for travelers arriving later in the day, but to make matters worse, no check-in instructions or warnings about this were provided at any point—no emails, no calls, no details anywhere. How was I supposed to know?

The following day, we managed to check in. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly kind—the only saving grace in this entire ordeal. However, the rest of the experience quickly turned sour again. Two other front desk agents were rude and dismissive. One turned their back on us while another agent muttered “uhuhhhh” while staring at the computer, which felt like a snide dismissal—almost as if he was saying, \"this is the troublemaker!\" By then, I chose to stay quiet because I was completely fed up.

The resort has a HORRIBLE smell as soon as you step off the elevators. My sister and I couldn’t determine if it was backed up sewer lines or dead fish. The sinks do not drain properly and we saw numerous bugs in our room. Very very old place that needs a lot of updates.

I only once briefly interacted with the front desk. I did not check in or out with anyone, our room was never cleaned, the shuttle service was unpredictable, and there was a lot of construction on the property. The property was beautiful and there was a lot to do on the property itself. I just wish I would have know more about the amenities before our stay.

Very roomy and comfortable. Ugly carpet, but clean. Eight out of ten washing machines broken on all three floors of designated machine floors. Quiet until delivery trucks and garbage trucks park and run in driveway on backside of building. Incredible lush surroundings, however, outdoor cooking grills are embarrassing and near useless requiring your own charcoal briquettes. Bay Club One bldg. is a little tired looking.

The location was centrally located and within walking distance of the beach. There is one restaurant located on site that was open for breakfast only but several restaurants with in driving distance. There is a shuttle service around the property that gets you to about everything you need. Use the app to learn the routes and it is easy and covenant.

The Bay Club was overall a good option for my budget. The staff was very friendly and professional. The rooms were very clean. My main concern was the mattress I slept on was very low quality; It had little to no support. On a minor note, only two of the 8-10 jets in the jacuzzi were operating at full capacity. A budget minded person could enjoy staying at the Bay Club of Sandestin, but it's not for everyone.

We stayed for a week and will definitely be back. The staff on property were very accommodating and helpful. The room was clean and had everything we needed. More communication about the amenities on property and/or transportation would’ve helped but we figured it all out after some trial and error. Great, stable Wi-Fi. Cafe in the neighboring building had an amazing breakfast/brunch! Complimentary washer/dryer were very much appreciated. No view of the bay from our room but a short walk around the building led to a beautiful view of the bay. Beach access at the Sanderson resort was awesome.

We enjoyed the property and the small bay view from our room. Room was spacious, clean and enjoyed the full fridge ,coffee maker, spa tub and access to the washer and dryer. Also liked how easy it was to get fresh towels and coffee, shampoo etc. The employees were very friendly. We found the room noisy in that we were subjected to loud trucks either backing up or the dumpster truck early in the morning. Not sure if we were in a room above the delivery entrance. Did not use ANY of the amenities that we were charged the extra $50 for. not happy with that. Used our own vehicle on the property, did not golf ride bikes or any of that. Also could hear people in next room talking and actually using the bathroom. The “private “ beach was packed. We preferred to pay $6 and enjoy the far less packed Henderson beach state park.

When checking in keys did not work. It took three times from third floor to front desk. Finally a maintenance man came and re keyed lock. TV in living room kept cutting out every couple seconds. I did ask front desk if we could have any other room. They put us looking over the garbage dump. The girls answer was no it’s the way you booked. Hotels.com if I was you I would take Bay Club off your list of hotels.

The individual condos are beautifully appointed, comfortable, and clean. The property is huge and offers bay & beach access as well as multiple pools & golf courses. Dining options on-site and nearby were delicious, but there are also grocery stores and a full kitchen for those who want to prepare their own meal.

The property advertised suggest having everything u need except paper towels and some extra kitchen items such as spices. The condo had a view of a garbage can and new condos. This building took on a lot of noise from the new builds. This was never shared by the owner :( when on vacation shoppers look for this to avoid I believe. Overall the condo itself was great the balcony was convenient so was the second bathroom. This property stated free bike rentals etc we never could find any of this and nobody at the property was available except security which didn’t know. Great location for us :)
