This is a decent hotel, with some English speaking staffs that are helpful. Continental breakfast was not great, but they alternate every other day with a Thai breakfast - the Thai breakfast was absolutely wonderful! Delicious fried noodles/pad Thai, spring rolls and cut fruits. Healthy options such as salads and fruits were great too.

The hotel is conveniently located in a side street near the junction of Rama IV road, only a few minutes' walk east of Lumphini MRT Station. (Use the Ngam Duphli Exit from the MRT.) It was very comfortable. The room was clean and of a high standard. Note that access to the hotel is by walking up a driveway then using stairs or a lift: Reception is on the first floor above ground level. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Great location and excellent value for money. About 8 mins walk to the mrt, a seven eleven on the corner, a huge shopping mall across the road with a cheap food court and other restaurants. Staff at the hotel were always polite helpful and friendly.

The service provided definitely dropped from the previous time that I had visited (2019). Although Co-Vid has disrupted the original service provided, but they have yet to pick up on their standards. Even for a 3-star hotel, room cleanliness and provision of amenities (disposable slippers within the room, toiletries, tissue paper within the room) was lacking.

I have only good things to say about the Pinnacle Lumphini. We stayed here 8 days. The breakfast buffet was very good with many choices to suit everyone. The bed was not hard and there was a choice of pillows. Lots of hot water and clean towells. A very nice pool. The MRT Lumphini is a few minutes walk. There are many nice restaurant s in the immediate area as well as laundromats. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Bangkok

Zing a very comfortable hotel

Very comfortable hotel. In house restaurant good with reasonsble prices. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Less than ten minutes to beach.
The hotel is in the middle of the gay area with many, bars nightclubs and restaurants nearby. Night market is a 15 minute stroll.
The room however was always quiet.
The swimming pool was very clean and well kept and a decent size.there is supposed to be a balcony but it was so small you could not really use it

The hotel is near by 7-Eleven.

If you’re willing to put up with a receptionist who only smiles at westerners, puts you up in a room with 2 single beds despite you made prior advanced requests for a king, and when requesting to change it, gave a snark reply that we used the sink without even coming into the room to verify while holding the key to supposedly another room that has a king bed and says it’s no longer available for us, and then when approaching the manager was then shifted to the room with a king bed with no further issues only to have the concierge dropping my luggage marked “Fragile” by the airline a couple of times even with the trolley, the hot water in the shower lasts for 5 minutes, the towels are rancid, the TV doesn’t work, the wifi is a fantastic speed of 25-30mbps on average which throttles every 5 minutes so you’ll need to keep reconnecting, and the gym equipments are outdated by a couple of decades, plus the neverending traffic jam on the main road all day long and no other nearby amenities except a 24hr 7-Eleven, then this hotel - which could’ve been at its prime centuries back when the photos on this listing were taken - would be suitable for you. Steam room was locked. Didn’t bother with their breakfast. Kettle for boiling water was something my grandmother used. Air conditioning 1 for low, 3 for high? Nope, it’s the other way around. All these were admissible if the first impression of the receptionist (who was proud to display a rainbow flag whenever he’s on duty) was better.

I have stayed here many times as I like the location; near MRT Lumpini. The breakfast was good each morning with both some western and Thai food choices. Prior to covid, the breakfast buffet was amazing! It is much smaller now and I hope as tourism grows, the buffet will return to what it once was. Nice staff, poor water pressure in showers, nice roof top pool and sauna is now closed.
I will stay here next trip!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The pool on the 14th floor was a lovely getaway from the business of the city. The WiFi was spotty- strong in the lobby, very weak in the room. The location is great- a short min walk to lumphini station on the MRT line. The hotel has three beautiful birds out front on display. I saw a young kid there trying to “play” with the birds with no supervision of parent or hotel staff. I personally find the use of animals in this way a bit inhumane and dated, in my opinion.

The staff in the restaurant were superb ,as well as those at the 15th floor Bar area.
Rooms are a little old fashioned but everything is spotless and the bed was extremely comfortable.

Now all is first class service at very good cost.

Location is near mrt station by 5min walk. Upon checking inn they served juice while talking to the receptionist. We waited at the lobby for them to prepare for additional extra bed for me since i traveled with my parents. The bed was uncomfortable for me at our first night since they added just a bed stand and foam. I did inform the front desk and added another foam, it was more confy though. We requested for additional hotel slippers and pillows since we are 3 persons who slept at the room. The breakfast was very good. You can choose depends on what you wanted for breakfast. You can relax too and go swimming or exercise on the gym, all guest can avail the amenities. I just wish they have more english chanels that we could’ve been watched while resting from a tiring day.

Quality of Food Service and Billing poor

Food service still continues to be problem. Have new Food and Bev mgr on board now and will see if any changes are made by my Feb visit. Food selection on breakfast buffet has been very limited to almost the same items this past week or two. Dining room mgr talked with Chef on Mon before my trip and menu did change on Tues. 15th floor cafe leaves a lot to be desired. Very limited menu and if U bill to room this can take up to 3-4 days at times before bill is posted to your account. Had paid my account mid aft of 3 Dec in full. On morning on 4 Dec a bill appeared dated 29 Nov. This is not first time this had happened. Other services such as laundry billings appear same day or next day but this has been an on going problem with the food service bill either at the 15th floor cafe or room service. Have not been able to obtain a response form mgt as to reasons for delays in posting bills. Shoddy billing operations to say the least. Also need to improve quality of foods as well. Under a new Chef has been hired that can cook European dishes, American dishes as well as Thai dishes made to look like and taste like they should. Keeping my fingers crossed on this one.

The rooms were small. we asked for 3 beds and they gave us 2 beds and a folded bed which was not even a bed. it was a piece of wood that they put a mattress on. our bathroom/ shower clogged the same night we checked in, then again the following afternoon. when they came to fix it, there a strong smell of poop in the whole room. we had cockroaches in the room as well.

Come for the Birds Stay for the Comforts

I stay at the Pinnacle whenever I travel to Bangkok from Chiangmai where I live. I have gotten totally comfortable with my stays there. It's not a luxury or pretentious place, but it's very efficient, clean, quiet and professionally managed.. An added pleasure: there are 3 friendly parrots (birds) just outside the front door and I have gotten \"close\" to the green one, who will climb onto my shoulder. Do I stay at Pinnacle for the birds? No, but they are VERY cute!

I tried to use the sauna, but shortly after I entered there was a mound noise it sounded like something exploded. So the sauna was clearly not usable.
The pool is really small. You can hardly swim when there are more than two people in the pool.

I will preface this review by saying initially it's my fault. I left my wallet in the taxi on the way from the hotel to the airport. I contacted the hotel immediately via Facebook Messenger to advise them of the issue and to see if they could contact the taxi (who had driven off). The hotel did not respond for 6 hours by which time I was halfway back to Melbourne. When they did contact me, they asked me for the taxi number (who in their right mind at 5am in the morning records this). I said I didn't know so they advised they would check CCV. I had to follow up 12 hours later and they said as they were fully booked they hadn't checked. The hotel service is disgusting and there is no loyalty shown (as this was my third stay at this hotel). Surely checking the CCTV and making a call to the taxi company would be a five minute job but they were to busy, seriously that was ridiculous. Its now been 36 hours and I am yet to hear back from the hotel so the chances of having my wallet returned is remote at best.
You should ensure a hotel and it's staff on how they deal with a difficult situation, and for this hotel that is a failure beyond imagination and has nothing to do with language barriers, its just plain service that is it's shortcoming.
Do not stay here, apart from this issue, I also placed a review on another site because I had no running hot water in my room and it took them 4 days to move me to another room which also has no running hot water.

I remain a client of this hotel because it’s an overall good deal and I like the convenient location a lot. But they need to upgrade soon. The shower did not function properly and the soap dispensers are broken. Come on. Can do better.

Great location. Next to the MRT. Quiet. Decent breakfast. Very nice staff. Showing signs of wear and tear. Rooms are ok but will need remodeling soon. They need to get rid of the ugly dirty smelly carpet in the lobby. I stayed here five years ago and liked it a lot but I’m seeing the effects of wear and tear.
