The room was old, dusty, musky, even found a roach on the floor. The ceiling and walls had markings. The towels and bedsheets were clean, but it was hard to relax because of the state of the room. The staff were great. I didn’t get the chance to ask for a different room since I only spent one night and got to the room very late and tired, but I’d like to believe they’d be accommodating. That said, why have a room like that in the first place..

As other reviews mentioned, the room (apparently I was also given a free upgrade) looked rather aged, but reasonably clean for the amenities of interest, namely the fridge, bed, closet, and bathroom. I booked the hotel room with breakfast buffet, the variety was great, even for 5 nights stay and worth it! Always looked forward to it. The staff are polite and friendly. The gym including the treadmill is free for use, same with the washer+dryer laundry room. It's a short walk albeit with road traffic navigation to Lumphini MRT. I don't regret booking this hotel room at all and if there's a future return I might consider this hotel again!

Staff was beyond lovely and were all very welcoming. Only problem was the actual room left some to be desired. The photos are not accurate depictions of the rooms. Our room had hair all over the chairs, possible mold in the bathroom, big burn marks on the floor, and overall was very outdated. The area is nice but the road out front is very busy most of the day. We had a room that faced outwards and could hear vehicles all night. Overall the hotel is average, 3 star hotel.

The booking included a double room and had everything I could need. The only issues were that the centre of the rooms would have a dark area because it lacked a lightbulb in the middle of the ceiling. The lighting was all along the edges of the room ( except the bathroom which had good lightening). The buffet could have done with more vegetarian options. The guard outside (sorry I don't know his name but he was there at check out) was very nice and always cheerful.

Loved my stay here. The mini kitchen was a highlight for me. Having a larger fridge, a stovetop, a microwave, etc. Felt like a mini studio apartment. Also, free laundry downstairs! I'm a daily swimmer and the pool was good enough for laps. I also liked the mini gym, had all the equipment one could need. The next highlight was definitely the location. Walking distance to 1) an outdoor food market 2) an indoor fancier food hall 3) 7-11, you name it. Chill neighborhood away from the craziness, yet short ride away from the action. Also walking distance to One Bangkok mall where I often went. I really enjoyed my room and thought it was spacious. This was a budget booking for me but what I got for the price felt like a fantastic deal, so much so that I would consider doing a long term stay, a month or more.

Cockroaches seen in different parts of the room

The room is facing the road and I really cannot sleep cause it is really too noisy outside. Most importantly, the room is full of cockroaches. They were seen everywhere in the room.. coming out when the lights were turned off. I put my phone on the chair next to my bed before I sleep.. when I got up, there’s even a cockroach on the chair next to my phone. Told them about the issue and they sent a staff to spray insecticide. The whole room sting of it and the next day, the pests were back again. Really disappointing.

The room condition was super bad. Room with cockroaches. Cochroaches can be found in toilet, kitchen and bedroom.

Told the staff in the morning and they promised us that they will clean our room properly. When we came back at night, we still able to see cockroaches running around.

Overall, strongly recommend not to stay in this hotel.

The At Ease Saladaeng was amazing. We loved our room and its view, we loved the inside structure of the hotel, we loved the shower and bathtub, and we loved the air conditioning!!! It's in a perfect location and all of the staff were incredibly helpful with everything we needed. I would absolutely stay here again anytime.

I stayed for 3 and a half weeks and had a very enjoyable stay. Staff at the front desk always welcoming with a warm smile and helpful. The hotel and rooms are a bit run down, but everything is very clean and housekeeping does a great job everyday. Pool is a bit small, but gym is bigger and more comprehensive than I ever imagined. There wasn’t a time I needed to queue or come back later. Free laundry machines at basement, always available. Just rmb to get your own detergent at 7-11 just around the corner. Around 10-12 min walk to either side (Lumphini station / sala daeng station), very walkable. Lots of food options nearby.

Pros: facility has very nice amenities that makes travelling and convenient for travellers solo or family. From the gym that has many machines, a total of 13 including treadmills and free weights. I think that’s a really nice thing to have while travelling and not having to pay ridiculous gym fees at gyms nearby (600 bahts for single entry). It also has in house washer dryer that you can wash your clothes anytime you like. The pool and the saunas are really good option to just relax on days you don’t want to go out. They even have an umbrella in your room. That’s quite thoughtful I think.

Cons: people smoking at the pool. I think there should be a separate are for people smoking that’s not at the pool. First there are kids and non smokers accessing the pool. As a former smoker, it’s just disrespectful and it stinks. Second the room ACs are located right above the pool so you can smell the smoke in your room. There were days I woke to the stinking cigarette smell. I was not impressed. Again as a former smoker, it’s very distrusting and disrespectful to other people. I hope management read my comment and this comment and deal with it. Another issue is the safe in the room is broken. It’s there but there is no lock mechanism. I didn’t feel comfortable with that due to the reason anyone can enter and leave the hotel. Over all, I give 8 stars due to the smoking situation.

The staff were a pleasure to deal with and very accomodating.

At Ease hotel is perfect to have a holiday. The room is very convenient, it’s have a swimming pool, gyms room and the staffs is very friendly. It’s make me feel like my unit living in Australia.
We can walking 1 minute to 7-11 shop, coffee shop, street food in down stair. Next hotel is about 20 circle foods shop is cheap and yummy we can choose. Only transport to Chinatown is a bit far. Chinatown is open from 6pm until 2am.
Staying At Ease Saladaeng is recommended to anyone who wants to be a good holiday for your family.

Was really glad we got the suite which is big for the price I paid; got a kitchen with utensils, big bathroom & hall :)

Glad they restock the coffee & tea, though we leave 100 baht daily for the chambermaid :) Happy it got a well equipped gym and easily reached & can use anytime too :)

Got many cupboards that's just great & the sofa is good for naps :)

Main problem is that it's far from the MRT or BTS & have to take a bike or taxi out as the walking in the hot sun was too much :(

Got 2 TV but not working well & need to call service 3 times :(

also the water flow out of the shower room when showering :( & there're insufficient places to hang clothings in the shower & closets

Space kinda narrowed with 2 twin beds & the furniture are dated :(

The staff are nice, but management is poor. I had a roach infestation in my room. Stayed up all night killing roaches. The management never gave me any compensation for the lost night of sleep. Luckily Expedia stepped in and helped me.

This property is in a really good location! It is may be a 10 minute walk to the two metro lines. There is street food and the pink garden market right downstairs and there’s also a lot of dining options on saladaeng itself. The rooms are comfortable but dated, I would advise travelers to come to Bangkok between December and February as it’s really warm and humid the rest of the year. This hotel is also near the Silom district where there are supermarkets if needed, and also many dining options and entertainment options. Overall a really good place to stay in Bangkok.

The room had so much potential: mid-century modern floors and built-ins .. but kitchen and bathroom and elevator areas have old white tile that definitely needed replacing.

The staff was friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The buffet breakfast was great.

Hotel is located in a quiet street in Saladaeng. I'd reckon its about 15 mins walk to either Silom or Saladaeng station. Probably a fre more mins to Lumphini station.

There isna food marked just beside the hotel and a 7/11 about mins walk away.

Room was huge enough for us. However, we didn't get the tv in the room to work.

Aircon was cold and shower oressuer was great. Water temperature control is good too.

Its a quiet hotel when instayed. The pool is relatively small compared to other hotels but emoty most of the time. Its a nicenplace to relax andnhave a soak.

Front desk staff, cleaners and security staff are very friendly and polite too.

Will book again if i am not solo travelling.

La habitación es exactamente como se ve en las fotos, teniendo su cocina con lo necesario para cocinar, un baño con una bañera que es complicado de encontrar en la mayoría de los hoteles de Tailandia, la cama es bastante grande, y el salón de estar es confortable, dispone de aire acondicionado.
Si realizas la reserva con desayuno, tienes la opción de decir una hora y te lo llevan a la habitación puntualmente.
Cerca del MRT Lumpini (alrededor de 5 minutos andando), así que puedes moverte para otros lugares fácilmente.
Respecto a la limpieza, todo en condiciones y desde el baño hasta la cocina, lucen perfectamente.

I love At Ease. We always stay here when in Bangkok, so much so that we get the Welcome Back treatment!
Unfortunately I think others have cotten on and it is more full than it used to be and as a consequence getting a tad more expensive, however the breakfast is great as with the pool and gym. Convenient location close to MRT AND Skytrain, several restaurants, 7 eleven and bars. walking distance to Saladaeng night life. I find just a bit of a musty smell in rooms this time, BUT awesome shower, THE BEST!

I LOVED THE POOL. The hot weather made it an absolute joy.

I LOVED the spacious room.

I loved the staff. I loved the location.

The only downside was a worn air conditioning unit that leaked (they tried to fix it) and mold on the shower curtain. Otherwise: the staff did a great job keeping the room clean.
