The bathtub/shower was not adequately designed to drain water appropriately. The water would travel to the side of the elevated bath area and fall onto the floor below, so after showering there would inevitably be a pool of water on the floor. I'm not sure if this is the reason for the drain beside the toilet but it's not as if the floor slants towards that drain either. The holder for the handheld water source also was broken (could not be tightened/properly adjusted) which did not help the case.

There was also a sticky spot on the floor near the bed by the window and ants were crowded on/around that spot, with a trail leading from the window. Many ants therefore got into my friend's backpack which she then had to abandon as it was impossible to ensure it was free of ants despite her attempts.

The deposit is also considerably high in light of the above defects. Lastly, the cafe by the main entrance was sold out of half of their bagel sandwich menu. The one redeeming quality of the hotel is that they have a shuttle that goes to the nearby Silom station.

Good location, lots of restaurants and parks in the area and down the road from the blue line MRT. We got the premier room and it was massive for an excellent nightly rate. Hotel staff was very helpful, pool is nice and there's 3-4 lounging areas for sun or shade worshippers. Our reservation came with the breakfast buffet which was a steal of a deal. I definitely recommend this hotel if you're staying in Silom.

They say you should never go back. We chose the Quarter as we had patronised its predecessor for several decades. It was sad to see how it had been downgraded to \"adequate\". The staff were pleasant and helpful, but the hotel's maintenance was basic.

Breakfast varied and was great every day. Selections of egg bar, dumplings, baos, to various rice, meats, noodles, fresh fruit and desserts.

The rooms are 99% sound proof, only sound is some very light sounds through the front door, otherwise super quiet.

Bed and pillows were comfortable and clean.

There is some age noticeable to the floor and walls, some needs repainting and polishing the wood floor would be a nice touch. The toilet mechanism, shower fixture, and bathroom sink knobs could use a touch from maintenance. It would also be amazing if the beside light switches were functioning.

Overall a decent deal for the space but there are other hotels in comparable areas that are almost new and with very close square footage at the same price. I stayed mostly to experience the neighborhood but may consider the other The Quarter hotel next time.

Our room was fantastic with everything we needed and was huge. The hotel bar is only small and not open much. The pool area is lovely although again only small.
The area the hotel is located in does not have many bars, shops etc. There is a food market opposite which is great for fast food but it is not where you'd go for a nice meal.
We walked to lumpini park which took around 30 mins and also a walk to Patpong night market was around 35 mins.
If you are getting a taxi from the airport be warned our taxi driver spoke no English and the hotel isn't one of the big ones they know so we had to use google translate for him to understand where we wanted to go. I wouldn't stay here again just because the area doesn't have a lot around it but the hotel is very nice if you are just stopping en route eleswhere.

Very nice room and bathtub. Nice hidden pool in the back. Our only complaint was the mattress and pillows - too hard for my American taste (but pretty normal for Thais). We didn’t have breakfast - so no comments on that. Otherwise - top notch place!

Staff was nice and the hotel was clean. I stayed about a week with a break in the middle for a day in Pattaya. The website indicated transport to and from the hotel, but it is not a free shuttle. They call a taxi for you for more than if you ordered it yourself. Just use Bolt (Thailand's version of Uber/Lyft).

Amazing staff, very friendly and hospitable. Comfortable rooms with nice layout. My only complaints are that the rooms are showing some age: as nice as they are, some materials were showing a lot wear and tear. We also disliked the shower/bathtub, water would pool around the tub, thankfully.it was cleaned daily. Good food, good breakfast buffet. I recommend it.

1 elevator not working for the entire stay, so all guests us 1 elevator. You would think theyd put a sign up. Breakfast so so, no good if you dont eat meat. Room was soacious but the air con leaked (puddle on floor), toilet flushed 50% of tge time, hot warter was warm at best, 2 tvs but only 1 remote worked, nice view, bed comfortable, room good size, staff friendly.

This hotel is clean and the staff were friendly. You can choose to have breakfast on site that will be included in the price or you can choose not to have breakfast. There’s a gift shop and a spa. There’s local taxi right outside or you can order a tuk tuk or you can simple use the local share ride app. MBK mall is only 14 mins away by car. There convenient stores are 7 eleven that are located everywhere and KFC is just around the corner.

The property itself is quiet nice however don’t expect to be able to work online or do much as wifi is terrible, had better in outback remote 3rd world than this internet.
The property DOES NOT take Amex even though it says they do on this website, they either don’t want to take it and flatly refuse or they don’t have it which should be reported on Expedia.
I wouldn’t stay here again, there are nicer places for same money in BKK

The rooms are large but furniture rather dated. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Small elevators for hotel this size. Did not like that there was no safe in the room which I think is pretty standard. Easy 10 min walk to Lumphini park and also pretty close to Metro which I used to get to Chinatown in 4 stops or about 5 - 10 minutes. Breakfast buffet was reasonable. Staff helpful and quick to respond.

Absolutely loved our stay here, and will definitely come back for future visits.

Really good rooms - clean, spacious, nice bathroom, nothing missing. Location is great - safe, quiet, and easy enough to grab a bike or tuktuk to get anywhere you'd need.

Definitely no complaints with the staff. Everybody was super lovely, accommodating, and helpful anytime we needed anything.

The Quarter Saladaeng is extremely convenient, the pool is wonderful, the surrounding area is very safe and walkable and the staff here are incredibly friendly and helpful. Originally I was only staying a week but I've continued staying 2 more weeks and possibly more. I may never leave!

Great location (close to Lumpini park and both Skytrain and Metro, as well as an amazing foodcourt exactly in front), extremely helpful staff (made the stay even more pleasant), large rooms properly cleaned every day. Some of the furniture might be a tad outdated, but didnt bother us. Convenient gym as ewll as massage in-house.
For the price we paid probably the best deal in town. We'll be back!

What was i thinking???

Horrible. Bed was a thin mattres psd on planks of wood. The tv in the bedroom did not work. The room was well worn. There was only 2 dining chairs in the sitting area. The tile around the shower was cracked. There are no pictures on the walls. When i told mngmt i was checking out 4 days early they failed to credit my credit card for the 4 prepaid days remaining. They told me that expedia had to authorize it. I plan to contest the charge when i gwt home. Do yourself a favor and skip this hotel. It does nothing but disappoint.

Wonderful hotel in a great location in the SalaDaeng / Silom area of Bangkok. The property itself had great amenities (pool was very nice, gym was better than many other hotel gyms, self service laundry room on-site). The room was very comfortable with tons of cabinets in the bedroom for clothes and luggage. Washroom was in great condition and our suite had a separate dining area and kitchenette. Breakfast buffet was pretty typical compared to other hotels in the area. Right across the street from the property is a magnificent food hall with so many different dining options that will satisfy everyone in your group! We will stay here again next time we visit Bangkok, this is my favourite property in the Silom area so far.
