We’ve stayed here a few times. They updated in key areas. And it’s definitely a budget friendly place to stay. The beds aren’t the comfiest, but the kitchen is so handy. Kids enjoyed the pool. Everything is clean, well maintained in our opinion. Even though it’s a simple continental breakfast, real coffee would be appreciated, not instant 😅. But otherwise, it’s typical cereal, packaged muffins, boiled eggs, yogurt and abit of fresh fruit, breads with jellies and peanut butter and cream cheese to select from. Basic, does the job, handy with kids, grab and go. If you want a “real breakfast” you get a percentage off at the Ricky’s all day on the main level of the hotel. We will most likely always book here, as we have a lot of dieters restrictions and cook most of our own food, and spend most of the day out hiking trails etc.

I never used the swimming pool but it was nice to know there was one, the rooms were clean and the staff were wonderful the breakfast was amazing just didn't have any scrambled eggs they only had boiled eggs, cereal, muffins, danish, bread, waffles, instant oatmeal, fruit and yogurt.

The parking is awesome. We have a 24’ boat we tow behind a 20’ truck and they are able to accommodate us. Parking is free.

Each time we go there our reservation is different in the hotel vs what we reserve on Amazon. This last time we reserved a pet friendly queen and the room assigned to us was not one of their pet friendly rooms so we had to start the process all over again

The last time we went I called in to their phone system. It is all AI. I was disconnected aver 5 times and made the reservation for my husband but used my name the 5th time I called back to make the reservation. I was not with my husband. There had to be numerous phone calls to verify that I would give my reservation to him so he could stay there.

Chose this hotel because it was 10 minutes from the ferry terminal and there was a restaurant (Ricky’s) on site.
The bed was far too soft so much so I was thinking on sleeping on the floor. Instead I slept with my head at the foot of the bed which was a wee bit better.
Upon check out staff checked the bed and agreed it was very soft and would have it changed out. They offered us a free dinner if we return. I won’t be returning.

The walls in our room were sticky and still had sticky tack from someone hanging decorations previously. Carpet beetles EVERYWHERE.
Beds and bedding clean.

The staff let the kids play and have fun at the pool unlike otherplaces that shushed the kids

Staff great! Room great! Inconvenient going upstairs for pool towels, but my daughter did it eagerly all the time because the staff was amazing.
My only complaint is they sadly need a sign saying to wear swimsuits. My kids were uncomfortable with grown men, wearing their boxers in the pool.

Staff was friendly. Hotel smelled a little strange and musky. The carpet seemed quite worn. Room was clean however bathroom was very small and inconvenient to use with family. Bed was a little uncomfortable. Pool was clean and did not have a strong chlorine smell. The free breakfast was okay but very limited. Wifi was good

Front desk staff were lovely. Room was clean. Would have preferred less fragrance in halls/ room. Somewhat perfumed cleaning products maybe? Wish the TV was \"smart\" as really had hoped to use streaming services on tv. The hallway was noisy and being beside door to stairwell was loud and disturbing, especially disturbed our dog so isn't great for a pet-friendly room.
This is not the hotels fault but other guests were unbelievably loud above us for much of the night. Need some soundproofing! It was like they were running, jumping and moving furniture around all night. The mill was also much louder that expected- perhaps better to get a room on highway side? Breakfast mediocre, not celiac friendly.

The staff at the hotel was great, very friendly. The room was huge and very clean. I had a great view of the ocean. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. My only complaint was that when I arrived in my room, the thermostat was set to 10 degrees cel and it was freezing cold. It took a while to warm up that first night, but this is a minor, minor thing. I plan on staying here again next time I am in the city. Thank you for a fantastic stay!

I didn’t realize that the house homeless people here. It was very unsafe and the whole hallway smelled funny. The breakfast was not a breakfast. There was coffee, cold waffles, and boiled eggs in the fridge. I will never stay here again.

I’ve read those questionable reviews. Then there’s the honest ones pushed down somewhere. Read those, they’re true. I noticed hair on towels and shower bottles, dents on fridge, microwave. Old messed up dusty baseboards, pictures, walls and uneven floors. Holes and/or stains on bedding and towels. Garbage beside the fridge and under the bunk was an empty beer can with garbage in it. I mentioned it to the front desk. They’ll make a note of it. We’re paying money for this. Please, do better.

We were very happy with our room. It appeared to have been recently renovated. We were 3 adults, a toddler and 2 small dogs in a 2 x queen room. We had enough space and were also happy to have a fridge and microwave. The continental breakfast was also quite acceptable. I had booked the stay and dine so also had coupons for free dinners at the Ricky's. Since we arrived late the first night, we were very happy that they accepted our coupons for breakfast the following morning.

The only reason I gave 4 starts rather than 5 was because I had found a few silverfish in the bathroom over the 2 nights we were there. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

I love the design of the rooms. It’s like having a suite, with a separate living area from the bedroom.
Unfortunately, the rooms are a little tired. Could use redecorating and sink needed replacing. It was cracked and the tap was loose.
I still like it here and will stay again.

Our room was pet friendly despite our not having a pet with us, as someone with an allergy this was incredibly disappointing as the smell was obvious as soon as we entered the room. The service here was among the best I've experienced. We stayed for just 1 night. I arrived for breakfast 5 minutes after it closed, (door was closed and locked) thinking I still had 5 minutes (because the clock in our room was wrong), I went to the front desk and saw that I was in fact late and was about to just walk away when the staff member asked me what I needed. He walked me to the breakfast room and let me in so I could eat. I thought that was great service.
