It was perfection! The room was so quiet and the view peaceful. The whirlpool hot tub in the little round log house was excellent with shower facilities on site. The staff was friendly and helpful, even printing out a map so we could easily find the restaurant recommended to us. Lots of variety for breakfast choices and plenty of good coffee. Very disappointed with a few things. 1) the room had a very notable insect (water, beetle, things and ants and spiders) problem, likely due to the large gap under the door where you could see daylight. 2) any customers that book their room through Expedia or similar paying an additional $10 for parking. I don’t understand this practice, just included in the price or not at all, but it feels like a notable unnecessary extra charge. There’s no other parking in the area other than the hotel parking lot. 3) The room itself is in need of maintenance, and wasn’t as cleaned as we would’ve liked.
The view is great, and it’s close to tons of stores and restaurants, so while it wasn’t perfect, this might meet the needs of someone else. This is our second time there and we don’t think we would return.

Couldn't try the sauna/whirlpool as a local kids' party had taken over the Inn (common areas on 2nd floor and the entire whirlpool enclosure), which was very disappointing. (As were all the Moms walking barefoot throughout the lobby/property and then stepping into the hot tub). Rooms were decent, good size, comfrotable beds and linens - good value for the price here.

From check-in to departure, everything about our stay at The Inn on Long Lake was perfect: the king suite overlooking the lake was spacious, clean and comfortable, the lady at check-in was very attentive and kind and the young man at check-out was equally polite and efficient. We have stayed before and will stay again! We missed having scrambled eggs at breakfast but maybe that's only a weekend item? No worries, we like the place and we will see you again.

Lots of good grass area for my dog to investigate. There was breakfast in the morning but I didn't go. It’s a bit weird that they charge for parking even though the parking is right in front of your room main door & on property. All in all a decent place to stay.

Great property! The staff were friendly and efficient from the moment we booked. The room and public areas were clean, the hot tub and sauna were absolutely dreamy, and the views of every room over the lake gave us the peace we were looking for. It was a bit noisy die to the traffic of the highway, but if you're a heavy sleeper, or use a noise app (like me) it'll help drown that out.
Close enough to downtown and the harbour, and far enough out of town that it's easy to explore north of the city. Highly recommend!

Lake was beautiful and room was clean and well appointed and the staff were friendly, and efficient. When I looked at the property online I was quoted an all in figure for our stay, but when I arrived I was told there would be a $10.00 charge for parking, which was charge that wasn't consistent with what I was quoted. Plus, the in room tv endlessly had a standby popup on the screen that would interfere with the program, or movie we were watching, which was very annoying.

The facility is lovely! Check-in was a breeze, and our suite was stunning! A gorgeous lake view, so quiet and peaceful!
The breakfast was delicious [although the dining space a bit small for the size of the hotel].
That said, the lovely lady stocking the breakfast area was great, she was on top of keeping everything stocked and clean and very helpful when situations arose.
The rooms are well kept, clean and comfortable!!
If a downside - the hallways are out of doors - I suspect that can get cold in the winter months, but it didn't bother us at all.

Right now I will only discuss the $10 parking fee, which I feel is unnecessary for a hotel/motel in the suburbs. I am sure it was mentioned somewhere on the listing, but frankly if you charged 10 dollars more for a room, with free parking, that would be more transparent. I can’t imagine that many people would go to this inn without a car, given its location
