Great staff, big room with lots of amenities, a little rough for finished (in my room the drywall was poorly done, electrical box exposed on floor, painting mediocre, no art on the walls) but aside from fine finishes the place was great!

The staff was very helpful, and when I had a few issues with the room they were right there within minutes. T.V. cable didn't work that great. Couldn't order movies and the guide did not work most of the time. When your recovering from a health procedure, you spend alot of time in your room. TV was a must. The guide got working for 2 days then didn't again.
Having said that. It was close to alot of places. Walking distance.
I would stay here again.

I love the staff. I stayed there for a week in a work trip. Sadly I got sick and the front desk found me a clinic I could walk in and help me navigate walking there.
So helpful and genuine...

I love my room that was actually set up like an apartment. Full kitchen.. it was refreshing not to go out for breakfast.
The area is very hip and so many restaurant and places to shop.

The ride from the airport was also convenient ... by train only 20 minutes but going back I took a taxi to minimize hassle to the airport and that was only $80 .. they called a taxi for me and he was 10 minutes early. Loved my driver.

Over all, a very nice experience
the place is under construction
but since I value
Location, staff and my room cleanliness
I will give this place is A plus.

We picked this hotel as it seemed to get decent reviews, was reasonably priced but more importantly was close enough walking distance to a concert venue we were planning to attend and was very close to the subway station. To be honest, room very much seemed like it was recently renovated, but almost like it was designed by what Chat GPT would think a hotel room should be. Ie. no outlets to plug phones into by any of the bedside tables. Bedroom lighting was either darkness or a billion watt light bulb installed in the 2 lamps. TV service was very dated. Bathroom had basically zero counter space for toiletries. Main sitting area felt cavernous like it was missing furniture, room had lots of space but no dressers or luggage racks to lay out clothing/luggage/etc. We had to use the ironing board from the closet to lay out our clothing.

Overall, all of this could be overlooked if the room itself didn't overbearingly smell like paint fumes - as if the room was painted the day before we checked in. We didn't stay in the room very much but was certainly off putting while we were briefly in it over the 2 nights we booked.

Coffee machines in the 'guest lounge' also had almost a weird 'secret handshake' to get it to work that another guest had to demonstrate for me in order to make a cup of coffee in it. - ie if you've pressed brew 9 times and nothing's happened, don't give up just yet...press it like 14 more times and coffee with be yours eventually lol

A hotel can check my ID at check in but copying it is unnecessary

The room layout was great. It was also awesome to have a full kitchen on hand so that I could make my breakfast in the morning. It was a short walk to the Bloor TTC station. The parking was fine also. My only real complaint was the heating/cooling system for my room. It was a wall type unit with no means to set a temperature. I had to turn it on and off as I needed. I was told that some of the rooms had this setup and others had an actual thermostat.

There should be bars or rails in the shower for safety. The kitchen amenities need refreshing. Not enough cutlery etc, and very poor quality. The living room area could use some colour - it is very sterile in appearance.

I was upgraded! From a basic Queen bed one-room suite to the Penthouse King bed 1-bedroom suite with separate and spacious living, dining rooms and kitchen. The hotel used to be an apartment building and is now converted to hotel and all newly renovated suites. Very spacious. Full kitchen. Great for anyone doing a longer stay. Super clean except the painter was sloppy, so there are little paint drops all over the beautiful newly installed floors. Huge tvs, comfortable furniture. Bathroom was not updated. Late at night, the shower water fluctuated between warm and cold, uneven temperature. Towels super huge, lush, luxurious. Close to main subway station (Yonge/Bloor) about 4-minute walk. Restaurants and grocery store close by. Price was very reasonable for Toronto, compared to other equivalent hotels.

Suite had an extremely small bathroom. Construction noise floor above us went on until around 10pm. We called around 930p and was told it should be over around 10p. Hard to deal with when you have tired kids.

The rooms are very large. We stayed In a one-bedroom suite
Full kitchen with all you need. Seperate living room, the only issue was the bathroom was small.

Hotel is a 5 minute walk from the Yonge and Bloor subway stop.

We traveled by train and it was not stressful and Union Station is downtown? I will never fly again between Montreal & Toronto

Overall the space was large and the bedding was clean however there was significant water damage on the ceilings of the kitchen and a smell in the kitchen area. The small details (e.g. baseboards and backsplash) had not been cleaned either.

Great value, price is great for the location. Room was technically clean, but really neglected on maintenance (think chips/breaks in furniture, fixtures, paint). Bathroom was pretty unappealing. No breakfast, no pool. The staff we encountered were all very friendly.

The only reason I gave the property condition a 4/5 is because 1 of the 3 elevators was out of service my entire stay. I read other reviews about long elevator waits, they were not exaggerating. Orher than that, I'd stay here again!

Hotel listing says breakfast is available from 6:30 to 9:00 for a fee. On check-in we were told they provided a voucher for a cafe a block away. We had an early morning so walked to cafe shortly after 6:30 AM only to be told they didn't open until 8:00 AM. Luckily there is an A&W very close to hotel so we had a fast food breakfast. Hotel needs to update their information.

I arrived late check in was ok , I went to bed tried to use the restroom in the middle of the night it wouldn’t flush and was no hot hot water to wash my hands. Got up around 6am to shower still no hot water. Went down to the front desk the clerk had such a bad attitude, “why didn’t you make a report when you checked in, no other guests complained about not having hot water”. Absolutely nothing done, went out return asked if it can be checked, waited one hour no one came. Went out again, upon arriving back was stopped by front desk clerk “we weren’t able to check because the do not disturb sign was on”, told them I was heading to my room. Ten minutes later the maintenance man came no tool or anything went into the bottom flush the toilet and turned on the water said “toilet flushing and there’s hot water. Which means he was already there while I was out and fixed it while I was out and my do not disturb sign was on. Which means be extremely careful here they enter your room when you are out regardless of you putting you do not disturb on. Horrible service and bad attitude.

This is one of my favourite hotels simply because of the rooms and price. It’s also the perfect location, not right in your face downtown but a quick drive to anything. It is not a five star hotel but the apartment style rooms are great for large groups. As for cleanliness the fridge and floors could use a bit of tending to and my room had a stale cigarette smell but nothing a little air freshener couldn’t fix. The staff is friendly and I do like the underground parking although it is $40 a night which I find a bit pricey. Keep in mind I have stayed here three or four times in the past four years and they are still doing construction throughout the building. Nevertheless I will be back again.

The most positive thing about my experience was the lovely staff and the seamless check in and check out process. Other than that, the stay was very disappointing. The TV barely worked, furniture was broken, room was freshly painted I’d assume because the smell of paint was strong and nauseating; there was paint on the ground, uncomfortable thin pillows on the bed, etc. I sadly would not stay here again because the price I paid did not get me the stay I had imagined.

For a cheaper price, I expected things to be a little dated but out room was very subpar unfortunately. I know others who have stayed here in more updated rooms but ours was not like this. Bathroom door didn't close, fan didn't work, windows didn't close once opened. Staff were kind.

This property was close to transit which we found very convenient. Easy walking distance to cafes, restaurants and grocery stores. I believe our room was renovated but there was still wallpaper peeling off the walls and it didn’t look completely finished. There were some pots and pans available but when we didn’t have the right size, the front desk was able to find us smaller sizes.

It was okay. The window in the bedroom did not open; when I asked for it to be fixed, the maintenance man plainly said that he can't. They offered to put me in a different room (I have breathing issues and need access to fresh air), it was in such poor condition that I refused. The toilet wasn't securely attached and kept making a thudding noise. One of the sheets had old paint stains on it. But the room was spacious and clean and the unit had a fully stocked kitchen, which was amazing. Overall, a decent experience, but I wouldn't stay there again.

Wiped dirt if the sheets and went to bed, waking up to see more there. Praying its not bug excrement. Took a shower with so little pressure that it was hard to rid the soap. Coming home, i threw my night clothes into the washer. Pay a bit more and go elsewhere!!
