2. When i asked for a additional toilet roll, i was told to fetch it from receptionist myself

Our stay was wonderful. Only issue was the noise. Every time someone opened or closed a door in the building we could hear it. Especially late at night when trying to sleep. otherwise staff was wonderful. Room was clean. Breakfast was good!

Over all everything it was good. Breakfast good, rooms good, customer service good.

Safe it was good. Overall Madrid is very safe to be walking late. We went to the Real Madrid soccer game and came back walking to our hotel at midnight.
All good. I will definitely recommend this hotel.

Simple and easy, but the two separate beds were not really separated. It’s too bare bones for the amount of money. The pool is closed so I don’t see the point of listing it in the search if not available or open for the dates of booking. Staff is great, but unless there is heavy discount I would not book again

The building itself is going through construction so there are holes in the ceiling and the walls arent painted. The rooms AC does not work so they have really noisy fans that just push the hot air around. There's also tons of construction around the hotel so it's hard to get an uber or taxi that can get to the street. We tried to open a window to get cool air but the construction was nonstop so it was very loud. You can hear people in the hallway and in the other rooms. I would never go back.

Hotel Luze Castellana was great! The front desk staff is extremely helpful and the hotel is very nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s in a more residential area but within walking distance to Santiago Bernabeu stadium and many great restaurants. It’s about a 20-30 minute ride from the city center which isn’t bad at all. I was there for 4 days and never had an issue and the breakfast is top notch! Highly recommend!

Hotel staff friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean with toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Would have been nice to have firmer or extra pillows though.
Breakfast options varied with hot and cold options, really good.
10 min walk to Bernabau and also nearby supermarkets. Relatively safe to walk at night but would recommend down well lit areas.
Strongly recommend arriving to hotel by metro - taxi cost 33 euros and driver was driving too fast.

Great hotel plenty of room space. Very quick and efficient check in. Buffet breakfast was very good, but with it being January not many guests used it. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Close to many restaurants and tapas bars and cafes. Great Thai/Indian restaurant 12 minutes walk. Italian and Mexican just around the corner. Only 10 minute walk to Tetuan Metro Station. So good location.

Staffs are so friendly. all are clean, and the place is also prefect.
I just have a comment regarding the items in the bath. Today is more frequently we do travels with hand bags only and it is not allowed to travel with liquids/cream. In bath I think it was missing hair cream, there is only shampoo and there is not tooth cream too.

Hotels.com providing incorrect data

According to your booking I was to have a King bed. When I got there they had it as a double. I questioned it and they stated that your company was wrong and that you always do this that you book a standard room which is a double. To get the King it costed me an extra 160.00 euros. I have used you for almost all my bookings but your company costed me much more for what you said I got any way. I feel that this should be rein versed for it was not of my doing.

The location was okay you have to walk a bit for the metro and bus, but there were plenty of options to eat and shopping.

They need more staff in the reception, as we have to wait such a long time more than 15 minutes as it was only one for more than 4 customers,

we did not like that you have to go to the reception to give them the key so they can give you the passes for the swimming pool, it was a waste of time overall and decided to used it once.

Noisy at nights as is in front of a girls night club and the lights were very bright at nights

Although I had issues with the aircon and the phone not working the first night, they fixed both for the second night and I was much more comfortable. The Bed was comfortable and the shower good but would jet boiling water at you every so often which is dangerous, especially for children. Happy to recommend it for a 3 star hotel.

It is a great hotel for a few days. Good rooms and friendly staff. However there is not a tone to do un a few blocks around, You would have to walk at least 8 blocks to access shopping or entertaining activities. The street is no lt very nice and the hotel has zero curve appeal. However, the rooms are super clean and ok size.

The swimming pool was great to cool us down. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Staff were very friendly and spoke good English.
The location was good to walk to the metro and Arsenal stadium is nearby.
It’s a 3 star hotel on the outskirts so can’t be too harsh but the exterior was a bit aged but we didn’t care too much.

The service at the front desk was excellent, and the hotel is in a good location, off a busy main street. There was a little bit of car noise from an adjacent hotel early on, but that stopped as it got later and the windows do a great job of blocking outside noise. The room was a bit small, but I think it is standard size by European standards. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower worked great. So overall, I had a good stay. My only complaint was the cost for the night, which was very high, unfortunately, they scale the room rate based on availability in the city. Most of the time the price would be a good fit.

The hotel is in a really poor condition comparing to hotels nowadays. It was good probably on the 80's. On our second and last night when i went to bed my legs started to itch me and woke up full of little red spots on my legs. Found out my friend had them too...the staff treated us really really well..
Other than that i would cancel reservation as the hotel is not what i expected at all based on the searches.

We stayed here because it was the closest to the Santiago Bernabeu for the best price. Front desk where very nice and helpful. Room was clean. Beds where very uncomfortable and hard but that's out only complaint. We didn't spend much time in the room so for the price we paid we are very satisfied. The walls are also very very thin, you will hear everything your neighbor does. Over all perfect for what we went for had an amazing time in Spain.

hotel bathroom is low quality. Shower would not stay up so had to shower holding the wand up while using other hand for soap and shampoo.
Wifi is excellent as well as the safe for locking up valuables.
Hotel close to stadium and shopping on main Paseo de La Castellana.

Good location close to the train, bus, market and restaurants.
Rooms and amenities overall.
The \"big issue \" having to deal with one laptop at the mezzanine area (for the whole hotel) with very, slow internet access and a broken laptop keyboard. If you need to print any document you need to send it to any hotel employee's personal email and they will give to you.

Only good thing...location.

This has been the worse hotel I have ever stayed at. The staff was all rude. Their parking is expensive and inconvenient because every time you need to get in or out you have to go to the front desk to get a clicker and return it immediately. My husband had to circle around after exiting the garage while we refunded the clicker since there was nowhere to wait. I accidentally kept it one time and that night the front desk called me to bring it back and yelled at me. The pool is shared with condos so every time each guest wants to swim you have to give them your passport and sign in and they give you a card and then you must bring it back right away (as they stressed) and you get your passport back. However, there is a limit of how many people can go so we saw people turned away. The rooms were super tiny. My parents had their own room and it was a tiny bit bigger but the beds are hard as a rock. I have never left a bad review but I wish someone had told me all of this before I had stayed. I would usually say you get what you pay for but I usually try to stay at places that are in great locations and I don't mind 3 stars but this place was horrible and didn't compare to the other hotels in this price range. Lastly, their elevator doors close so fast and someone in our 4 people party got hit by it at least once. Make sure to hold the door open button as soon as you get in so it doesn't close on anyone.
