The hotel is super !! It’s a small very well designed. It has many amenities and it’s an excellent price / quality. The neighborhood is not the best one, but it’s very good connected with bus and metro less than 100m. Also many supermarkets, shops nearby. Could stay hear again

Pretty small hotel, but offers everything you need, the area offers easy access to the train system and city cabs and buses. Hotel staff were very helpful, friendly and eager to help you in any way possible, I want to personally thank Paola at the front desk for her willingness to assist me every time I had a question about the city or anything in general.

Our room was on 6th floor facing the back so was quiet and very clean. Bed comfy and overall a very pleasant stay. An early check in option would be great although we could leave bags until check in at 3 but would stay again. Location ideal as near metro to get around. Nice wee pastry coffee shop on ground floor too.

Good, with space for improvement.

Good location. Nice rooms, specially bathroom was amazing with nice shower facility. Only minuses are no parking (steeet parking in the surroundings is very impossible), no English tv channels, no iron board for ironing and no mini bar.
Will stay here again if I'm not renting a car.

We had a great stay here, first impressions of the reception area worried us a little but the room was great. Clean with everything you need for a city break. The breakfast was lovely although no choice, it was a toasted baguette with cheese, ham & tomato, a croissant with Jams and a yogurt. Great but after 3 days of the same it would have been nice to have something different. We stayed for 3 nights, the main reason was a Real Madrid game, its a 15 minute walk to the stadium with some nice bars and restaurants along the way. We got a hop on hop off bus from outside the stadium around Madrid which was great, prices for food and drinks surprisingly cheap. Would recommend.

This was my second time stay at the Hotel. Will be going again when I visit Madrid next time. Close to the metro station and shops. Staff at the Hotel, really lovely and friendly. My 16 year old son came along on second visit and thought the rooms were very clean and bed very comfortable. Have recommended to friends and family.

Hotel good. Food good. Room clean and tidy. Hotel room overpriced!! Left a message with the receptionist to pass onto my friend when he arrived later re. hotel room and key etc, as I would have gone to bed when he arrived and didn't want to be disturbed. Waste of time as my friend arrived later and this 'other person' (night porter?) said he had no message passed to him. This was quite distressing for my friend and it finished with me being woken!

Really convenient, guest-oriented hotel

This hotel although very small is really guest oriented, making everything easy for you. The rooms have everything you need, nothing extra. No need for a closet, they offer a rack so your clothes are visible. Nice breakfast included. I would recommend you ordering a tostada con tomate, throw in some olive oil on the toast, then spread your tomato on top.

if downtown hotels full! this place an option!

i stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. it is closed to the metro (but it is close till novermber). and the main station takes around 15 mintues by walk which can take to to the center.

the hotel is in the main street where lots of shops, restaurants and supermarkets also petrol stations!

what i didnt like about the hotel:
1- air condition (A/C) was not cool!
2- shower water flow was little bit low!
3- at the time of my staying, there was lot of renovating job! so if you wish to sleep till 10 am this place will be little bit horrible for you, maybe depends on the floor! also rhe parking carage were lots of painting works so the it is little bit diffecult to find a good place to park your car.
4-parking carage were little tight

Practical Hotel

Hotel is located near the subway in a middle clase neighbourhood with many cheap shops.
The shower pours the water into the floor of the bath room since threre is not a device fitted to the floor To avoid it. The desk is placed in the balcony what is not confortable. Once solved those small maters I can say that moneywise is an acceptable hotel.

TRAVEL BY METRO

The hotel is only a short walk to the Metro (between Valdeacederas and Tetuán) which will take you directly into the centre of Madrid. All Metro ticket machines are in English if you have limited Spanish proficiency.

If travelling from the airport by Metro you will have to change line 2 times (or 1 if you want to walk a little) but there are plenty of maps to guide you. But if you´re lazy like me: (Barajas <Pink Line> to Nuevos Ministerios > <Change to Blue Line to Plaza De Castilla > <Change to Turquoise Line to Valdeacederas). Make sure you look at the building numbers so you're not walking the wrong way after leaving the Metro!

THE HOTEL

A pleasant hotel with a lift to each floor. An equally pleasant cafetería opposite the reception desk that serves food and drink at good prices.

THE ROOM

The room I stayed in was again pleasant. Mostly clean (a little dusty in places - like the telephone in the bathroom); the air conditioning seemed outdated. Every so often it made funny noises and I couldn't help thinking sometimes a little cucaracha was scurrying around inside; but I never saw anything.

There was no kettle in my room, so don't be expecting a coffee or tea when you get to your room. But as already mentioned, there is a good café on the ground floor.

My room came with a bath and shower which were adequate. The shower a little outdated, but it did the job.

Surrounded by casinos and closed shops. A few streets from where I had to be, but world's away in terms of amenities. I just needed clothes clothes washed and had to go to the laundromat instead, etc.

Inexpensive option in pinch

I was attending a conference at the nearby Melia Castilla hotel, but that hotel was sold out on my first night, and the NH Practico was nearby and affordable. I generally like the NH hotels for affordability and cleanliness. This location is a bit tired and shabby, although my room was clean and relatively comfortable. It's on a busy and nondescript street, and I would not stay here with my family, nor would I recommend the location for a woman traveling alone. But for a male business traveller looking for an inexpensive option in this region, it's fine. It's also within walking distance of the stadium, so might be a good option if you are in Madrid attending a soccer match.

As described by the hotel website in terms of its good location near the train station. However, the hotel room is not clean as it supposed to be. There was no central heating in the room. When I asked how to turn on the heating system, the receptionist told me that there is no heating in the entire hotel rooms. It was cold even I was in the month of October.

Good hotel basically with nice staff ,
The toilet was not properly fixed on the floor so it was shaking, also the reload of water to the basin of the toilet made noise like a waterfall in the jungle. Elevators need forever to come.
Little restaurant below is nice for breakfast.

Mi estancia fue buena. El hotel está limpio y la habitación es amplia para el precio que tiene. La ducha tenía chorros de presión y efecto lluvia, muy agradable. La cama era muy cómoda.

Elegí el hotel por proximidad a una reunión. Volvería a reservarlo si quiero estar en la zona norte de Madrid. Para visitar el centro/museos, quizá elegiría otro hotel más céntrico.

El hotel está estupendamente, el desayuno incluido es un gran desayuno puedes elegir entre cuatro menús grandes. La habitación tiene incluido hasta crema hidratante, el aire acondicionado es estupendo y súper cómodo. Me ha encantado todas las frases pintadas en el hotel que lo hace aún más encantador.

Tuvimos problemas con la reserva.No conseguían localizarla, parece ser que no era problema de ellos, que era de la central de reservas....
Habíamos reservado una doble con dos camas y tuvimos que dormir en una cama de matrimonio pues ya no tenían más habitaciones.
Al final el problema se derivo a nosotros y no hubo ninguna otra propuesta por parte del hotel.

Ganz einfaches Hotel etwas ausserhalb des Zentrums, aber direkt bei der Metro-Station. Auf ausländische Gäste ist man nicht eingestellt, alles nur auf Spanisch beschrieben, nichts auf Englisch.
Einrichtung ist spartanisch und billig. Die Räume sind extrem ringhörig, im speziellen das zuschlagen der Zimmertüren verunmöglicht das Schlafen am Morgen.

Habe das Hotel gebucht, weil es nicht soweit vom Stadium ist. Ca. 15-20 Minuten Fußweg, das war super. Hotel und Frühstück waren ok.Beim Frühstück jede Sache wie (Honig, Butter,Käse,usw.) sollte man aussprechen sonst kommt garnichts:)
Vom Hotel bis zum Zentrum benötigt man ca. 30 Minuten mit dem Bus. Die Leute waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
