The staff was unwilling to accommodate to the Guest's needs. They were very rigid and uncompromising in their approach. Showed a lack of empathy. I have stayed at three different Nh Hotels in Spain. Two of them have been uncomfortable. I Believe I Will never stay at an Nh hotel.

Check in was super easy. Beatrice was super friendly, helpful and accommodating. I was given one of the nicer rooms but with twin beds, I asked her to switch me to a room with a queen/king bed and she informed me that none of the superior rooms were available but would move me to a different room and would advise me when another supervisor room would be available. She did and moved me later on. The staff there is always so friendly, welcoming and tries their best to assist you. They make the hotel a 5 star stay.

The customer service at the reception is almost non-existent, and the cleaning leaves a lot to be desired. The sheets and towels are not changed, and when they are changed, they are torn towels. The breakfast buffet and bar were the only places we felt comfortable. Both the bartender and the girls in the cafeteria are very friendly and attentive to customers.

Booked this place to watch Real Madrid football game. Stadium is 5 min walking; Metro is 5-8 min walking; great restaurants nearby; area is quiet, not too touristy; not crowded at all; close to airport by Metro (Colombia station);

The property is located in a quiet and safe area. The area is surrounded by lots of restaurants, shops and supermarkets. We loved the bed, the mattress is sooo comfortable.

The bed fell off the track and we had to either sleep with it like that or switch rooms as no one was available to fix it; we switched rooms. They didn’t provide any toiletries as listed on the site. Had to wash up with long heavy hand towels because wash cloths were unavailable. Front desk never answered the phone when you called, elevator was incredibly cramped and jittery. Great location to the soccer stadium.

Nice central hotel for Madrid Stadium with local Spanish bars which are very friendly. Easy to get around Madrid via metro and cheap. I am glad I opted to stay in this area as it is very quiet and I slept like a baby.

I was really disappointed with this hotel. The pictures dont really reflect this hotel. If you stay, stay in the new area. The old side is really bad. I went to the front desk and they did change my room. I was put in #317 and it had two huge structural column in the room. The hotel has many rooms and all the rooms could not have been full. I saw 3 other guests there. Why would they put me in the worst room when nicer rooms even in the old side were available. The ladies at the front desk were amazing and when i said room 317 she was happy to change it. If you do stay here ask for a nice room.

my complains are two, rooms are a bit small, and airco is weak, Madrid is a hot city and room temperature cannot come under 22 celsius, no matter how hard you set the fan or low the temperature is set. double check with reception and told me that is their norm. So be aware can be too hot sometimes

Not necessarily in a convenient place but close enough to tourist destinations 10-15 taxi ride, a couple of subway stations nearby). But in fact, the stadium where Real Madrid plays is a few minute walk away. Very quiet residential area and there are ample cafes, restaurants, super markets and pharmacies. Rooms are tiny but the bath room is spacious and storage is nice. It would be nice if we can have additional towels….

It would be gratecif there was a kettle and a few packets of instant coffee and tea. The fridge did not work. However, the rest of the hotel was conformable and very clean, the service was great and everyone very kind.

I’ve stayed at this property before and after the rooms were renovated. Regardless of stay the staff has always been polite, friendly and helpful. I like the location as it’s easy to get to and from and isn’t too far from the city center. I would/will stay here again and recommend it.

Not worth staying. Better avoid it.

It does not have air conditioning as advertised, only have heating and the two rooms we booked were extremely hot to the point that even at night in January with the window open, the room temperature was 23.5C and it was impossible to sleep.
The bathroom was full of ants and because we had to leave the window open, we had few bees in the room.
The metro station Colombia is quite far from the hotel and the way is uphill.

Nice Hotel, friendly helpful staff.I was in room 522,a single room on 5th floor,very small, no coffee tea maker in room, mini fridge full of drinks and stuff,bottle of water,everything had a price bottle water 4 euro,s, no bath mat in bathroom,internet awful,Bar nice ,never used restaurant. Real Madrid stadium within walking distance 25 minutes about.

Good hotel for the money

This hotel is starting to show signs of aging, but service was superb and it was clean. Shower is a bit uncomfortable in the older rooms (I didn’t stay in one of the “new style” rooms so maybe that’s better). The price was very reasonable though so I would stay here again.

When I arrived nearby their were renovations going on near by. However, as I was out the hours they were working this did not bother me.

I arrive by train to the hotel as it was on the same train line. It is an up hill walk with a suitcase but the station has lift so you do not have to tackle lifting your suitcase.

My room had fridge in it which I did use to store some of my purchases.

I did have a fully functioning bath in my room which was much needed after a day of walking around.

The staff were friendly and printed up some items when I asked if this was possible.

There are places to eat near by. When you exit the station there are shops including a carrefore and another supermarket should you need it.

The hotel does have a restaurant and offers breakfast I just did not use it.

It is in a residential area so not noisy when I went.

Convenient access to Madrid-Barajas via Metro

Convenient access to the airport via Line 8. Easy walking distance to area shops and restaurants. Rooms aren't fancy, but then again, this is Madrid and you'll want to be out and about enjoying all the city has to offer.

I am really unhappy.
First. At check in time they gives to us 3 different rooms. Because each room was with bad for one persons. I was there not by my self, we are couple.
Second. Room was dirty
Third is on second day we find bugs in our room.
I did check our 1 day early and I took another hotel. No refund. :(

Hotel needs an urgent improvement, I stayed there two years ago and you can really feel the years passing through...
Pros: location, best for my needs, plenty of everything at walking distance, metro station, nice area in general; breakfast was excellent and price.
Cons: NOISE, feels like sleeping on the street, even though I was on the 5th floor I could even hear at night the people talking down and the cars... however there is more, a construction next door does not stop from 9am till 7pm!

Great location. 5 minutes from the Castellana and the Santiago Bernabeu stadium. Another 5 minutes from the subway station which has a direct route to the airport. Comfortable hotel. Room on the small side, but not unexpected for the location in a European capital.

Quiet neighborhood - live like a local!

Very convenient to/from the airport and most places in Madrid via Metro. Neighborhood has some good dining and shopping options and is quiet. I had a small problem with my room the 2nd day I was there, left a note for housekeeping while I was out all day (in Spanish), and returned to be immediately relocated to a different room so there would be no issue. Hotel is immaculately clean, breakfast was more than adequate and staff was very personable. I'll be returning to this hotel again.
