We had the Best room !! Facing the ocean and right over teh beach area. ALL areas of teh resort were very well maintained and cared for. Staff was Very friendly and super nice and the food was delicious. Highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a relaxing getaway !!

Room was very outdated. Although clean we had to ask for simple supplies like facial tissue, body wash, and shampoo. Women’s restrooms were out of order by the pools for 2 days so it was either walk back to our room (which wasn’t close) or use the men’s. Most of the machines in the gym were out of service and unable to be used. The staff seemed to be inconvenienced when we asked for anything, including dinner reservations.
I have never been to an all inclusive resort where you had to pay to have your room fridge stocked or without bottled water.
On a positive note, we never had issues getting beach or pool chairs and the beds were comfortable.

We especially appreciated Anika in guest services, as well as Renee and Clementina in the coffee shop. We were \"stuck\" in Antigua due to the airspace closure and the front reception staff were incredible at helping us cope. I stayed from the 13th to the 16th of November, 2025. The ambience and most of the staff are amazing. However, on my birthday, I went to their Italian à la carte restaurant and the experience was utterly the worst.
We arrived at the Italian restaurant 10 mins before our reserved time and were seated 10 minutes after. Our order was not taken until almost half an hour after we were asked by one of the young ladies there. Our appetiser arrived approximately 45mins after which our main course proceeded about 5mins after. However, the server then told us they had forgotten what we had ordered for dessert (keeping in mind our order was written down). We told her not to bother.
When we were leaving my friends', I noticed that many of the staff were gathered in a room chatting and laughing. I was disheartened because it was supposed to be my birthday celebration, and the staff served everyone else besides us, even customers who came in after us got their meals before us.

Amazing view from our room of the ocean. The staff are incredibly kind albeit there were a few who were visibly annoyed at even the simplest of requests at the bars. Beach was amazing. Food was AMAZING, the buffet in particular.

Staff and amenities were absolutely amazing. The room definitely needed some updating and more lighting. But we are aware they are renovating the resort. The food was good, they switched up the menu for dinner each night at the buffet. Beach was flawless, perfect sand, no rocks, no shells, always calm, not super deep. Pools were great, also cleaned daily. The grounds are meticulously maintained daily. Beach cleaned daily. The night time entertainment was fun, suggest to do a line dancing class so guest can learn the dances. Also, maybe add in some more updated music, lots of oldies but goodies. This was a small resort with not a ton of people, (mid November) Everyone was extremely nice and a true joy to be around. I would have loved to spend more time at the pools, but couldn’t stay away from the beach. We had a flawless time and I can’t wait until I can go back again.

This was my first visit to Antigua and I definitely picked the perfect place. We came to celebrate a birthday and the staff was incredibly considerate loving attentive and extremely friendly. The food was great many different options and lots to choose from. They had about four different pools with lounge chairs the room was right on the beach with a beautiful view and with many activities to do at night. I would definitely recommend this Resort and would come again to this Resort because the great attentive staff and food that was provided.

There should be more restaurants to choose from. Also, we tried making a reservation at a restaurant, which can only be done at the hotel, but there were no reservations available the entire time we were there. Gift shop is full of random items for purchase that honestly have nothing to do with the island of Antigua. Lastly, I moved my sister’s bag one morning as we were leaving and a cockroach about an inch and a half long ran out from underneath it. Luckily, a staff member was nearby and killed it…then asked me for my shoe to flick it out of the room. Happy 40th to me though. I’ll never forget this.

Property was beautiful and on the beach but it was on the Atlantic Ocean and not the Caribbean. Water was always rough and snorkeling off the beach had limited visibility due to the waves. Sargassum was bad but the property cleaned the beach every morning. We stayed the week before the property was closing for renovations. So restaurant had limited food and wine selection due to the closing which was disappointing. They ran out of pina coladas, and other drinks. We did enjoy ourselves but wished the hotel would have had better accommodations. We paid for a beach front room and it was not what I would consider beach front however the room was extra large with a large bathroom. Room service only comes every other day.

We went on the stingray excursion, and it was such a neat experience. The food was very tasty. The staff are so welcoming and nice. I cant say enough great things about this resort. Overall the stay was good. But the food was. Unfortunately, we were there for our honeymoon and didn't get any recognition for it, Even after sending the hotel staff a message saying we were there to celebrate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the booking dinner reservations 48 hours in advance and I believe it is only two to three specialty. And the lack of nightly. But we had an amazing stay and I would definitely stay again.

If you’re looking for a party/turn up resort.. THIS ISNT IT. This resort is very very quiet, calm, and chill. The crowd is more on the older side. The food at the snack bar was really really good! I wasnt able to get any dinner reservations but that was ok! Rooms were clean and simple, nothing extravagant. Drinks were good! Resort had so many pools that i dont remember reading about LOL. Overall definitely a nice resort and I would come again!!

But if this is your first time visiting the island, please be aware it is on the opposite side. So any excursions, Shirley heights, etc are all 30-45 mins away. That’s the only downside to this resort but everything was exceptional!

Beach is beautiful, the pools are great. The restaurants were good but buffet was hit and miss. Could’ve been better. Some staff members were incredibly nice but most looked like they were miserable and didn’t want to be there. Our room had a bad musty smell on day one but went away after air conditioner was on but for the little time spent in room; it didn’t bother me. Night live needs improvement.

I didn't like that they did not have premium liquor but the drinks they made were good. I also didn't like that the bars do not have an espresso machine at their station to make espresso martini's; you have to get the espresso coffee at the coffee shop and bring it to the bar for them to make it for you.

We had an AMAZING time in Antigua!! The turquoise waters, red footed tortoises, hermit crabs, mongooses and pelicans made the trip unforgettable! It's a great place to go if you're looking for relaxation! The staff was fantastic! From Wallace or Clementine making a wonderful morning mocha, to Jemie taking excellent care of your rooms housekeeping or Ann Marie, your queen of fun teaching you new fun activities, this is the place to recharge an overworked mind.

The food was great at all the restaurants and we loved the coffee shop. We enjoyed the pool exercises led by staff, movie trivia, jewelry making, and most of the evening entertainment. This resort is defiantly for the OLDER crowd. It is a 3 star resort trying to act like a 4 star. Lets start with the good, the food was wonderful but the buffet was small, the staff was great and because it is a small resort they really get to know you. The activities were ok do not expect to be kept busy or entertained. If you enjoy a luxury resort and spa this is not for you. The rooms were so small house keeping only comes every other day and maybe if you are lucky once during the week someone with walk around offering poolside or beach side drinks. Do not expect them to pick up trash or empty cups it only happens at night. Over all a nice place just know what to expect.

Beautiful resort with delicious food and amazing views. The only thing id say we were looking for was more of an upbeat vibe during the day and more entertainment at night. I enjoy relaxing but having a dj near the pool would have been fun as well. It did seem to be an older crowd(and we're in our 40s)so maybe it just wasnt the right fit for us, but, we still enjoyed ourselves and had a great time.

This was a nice place to stay, but don’t come for comfort from the room. The coils from the mattress were ready to pop through. We were in room 935, and no elevators. It was over 80 steps to get to our room. So if you can choose a room on a lower level if steps are hard on you.
The drinks were plentiful and not weak at all! They have daily activities if you’d like to attend, along with a nightly entertainment. There is no beach, or pool service. You’ll have to get up and get your own. They have plenty of different food varieties so you should be able to find something you like. What was best is the beach! This beach was by far one of the best beaches we’ve ever visited! Plenty of beach & pool chairs! No rushing to hurry and grab a chair before they’re all gone.

There's even a functioning windmill on the property which can be climbed up to take in the fabulous view.
Four of the bedrooms are in the 140-year-old main house, and three further suites have been built in the nearby former carriage rooms from the 17th century. A few of the original furnishings have been kept, notably a large display cabinet on the first floor of the hotel.
Along with the majority of the window shutters and some of the louvres, the flooring is all original. The hotel is a fantastic spot to stay when on vacation in Antigua.
It exudes a peaceful energy. It is a prime location right in the middle of, and adjacent to, some of the top tourist destinations in the north of the island, only 5 minutes drive to Dickenson Bay Beach or 10 minutes the other way to Cedar Grove Golf Course.
